We noticed some minor inconveniences during our stay, and the staff and manager were very friendly. The manager contacted us again after our stay and apologized for the inconvenience. It's very nice to see that such issues are handled personally by a manager here, and that you don't have to call a hotline to no avail, as is the case with large hotel chains. We will stay at this hotel again next time we're in Hanover.

A male front desk staff member came up in the middle of the night to check if the room was occupied. He didn't knock on the door and just used the room card to open the door. I was a girl staying alone in the middle of the night, so you can imagine how scared I was. The next day, he didn't take the initiative to apologize or explain. I had to ask him and he told me that there was a system error and he came up to check if the room was occupied. Because I don't speak English very well, I can't make trouble for the hotel or argue with them, but the hotel's approach is really inconsiderate.

The traditional room facilities are older, but very clean. The provision of disposable slippers is a bit unexpected. The location is great, just opposite the train station. Maybe not in summer. There is no air conditioning, and European hotels generally don’t need much service.

There is the train station just outside, and it is only about 200 meters away from the subway station. The transportation is very convenient. There are many shopping places nearby and there are many choices for eating. I will choose it next time I travel.
