3 star stay! Overall expetience was good. Check in was easy, but the bathroom was dirty with hairs all over the floor when I got there. Reception made sure I could have another room as they said it was too late to get someone to clean. The second room was clean - rooms overall are basic but clean. Stayed here for 2 weeks due to work, OK stay but the room I had was not clean. Spiderweb in the roofs and it smells sewer in the bathroom. Had to move the bed, because I lost something under it. It was clearly many moths since it was cleaned there.

Was my last stop of a 5 city Christmas market. Was about 25 min walk from the main train station but only 10 min to the christmas market. Room was spacious and quiet.Staff was friendly and helpful. Had a very nice 3 night stay.

Everything is tiny at this hotel. The single bed in the room is probably the smallest bed ever, I really had trouble sleeping on it. The pillow size matched the bed size accordingly, small and pretty flat. I had to fold it in two to be able to use it. And this was for a Superior room! See the pictures attached. The hotel has a corny touch of the eighties but also very spacious rooms for European standards and it is superbly situated in an ally = QUIET. As always in Germany breakfast is superb.

Very nice hotel, where I was very well treated. The room was great, and everything went fine when I was there. The only "lack" was that I arrived late, and allthough the personnel had made sure that I would have access to a good room, and to a key, I wasn't provided with a Wifi code.

They had repaired holes in the wall in the room, but it was not painted afterwards. Overall a fine experience.

Language barrier Nice well kept hotel in the outskirts of Town. Only there one night. There was quite a language barrier if you’re not German speaking so google translate had to be used. Room was okay. Lighting was a bit dim for me. No kettle for coffee etc.

Had an all-around good stay. The rate was competitive, the room large, bright and clean, and the breakfast buffet was great - and inexpensive. There was enough parking at the hotel. You can walk to disturb downtown in half an hour.

Need nore staff. Room had two single beds but in two different parts segregated by a wall. Could not watch telly from the bed and there were no seating in front of the telly. Near station and good breakfast

The traditional room facilities are older, but very clean. The provision of disposable slippers is a bit unexpected. The location is great, just opposite the train station. Maybe not in summer. There is no air conditioning, and European hotels generally don’t need much service.

There is the train station just outside, and it is only about 200 meters away from the subway station. The transportation is very convenient. There are many shopping places nearby and there are many choices for eating. I will choose it next time I travel.

It's very close to the train station and only a 3-minute walk away. The sanitary conditions of the room are poor, the facilities are also very old, the environment is relatively quiet, and the hotel services are average.

The restaurant is perfectly clean and the chef is fantastic. His absolutely delicious lemon meringue is from an old family recipe, handed down for generations--- a must! I could eat it every day.

Room were great. VERY clean in both bathroom and rest of the rooms. Nice quiet area around although not much to look at (no shops etc) but still some nice landscape views. The room also had a nice cosy outdoor space with chair and table, with acces directly from the room. The breakfast was great and the selection was quite high. Definitely recommended.

The rooms are fantastic but some of the food on the menu is obviously frozen and pre-heated while other dishes taste amazing; inconsistent and bland at times but really good other. The restaurant is really gorgeous and the staff is very polite and friendly. Overall very recommended. There is however no Wi-Fi connection from the rooms whatsoever.

Very nice hotel for an Autobahn stopover. Nice rooms but terrible internet access. I always ends up with room 16 that has no internet at all. The reception closes at 22:00 and in general the hotel could be more guest friendly. But it convenient to A7 and the price is ok.

One of the most pleasant experiences we've had staying in a hotel. The rooms were well equiped and modern. The hotel looks like a ship on the inside and also resembles like the decks of a ship. The staff is very friendly and always available to help. Would highly recommend if you are in Stade!

Kind staff, comfortable rooms and good service. Its location was, for me, one of the highlights: located just 10 minutes away by walking from the city centre, and right by the river, where you can walk along or even practice some water sports.

I still haven't visited the hotel, because I recently moved to Stade and I already have where to sleep here. I am just passing by and from outside the view is beautiful.

Made my booking directly on the hotel's website whilst still in England and was able to make a reservation for the Meyer Werft tour at the same time. I was aiming to arrive mid-evening on the Sunday after travelling from London via Eurostar and onward by train. I’ve been touring Germany for three years now. This place has the best breakfast buffet, period. Staff is super nice, everything here screams “come back soon”.
