This hotel is nice, clean new interior and the rooms are good, but the prices are too high, over 340 euros for one night?! Plus that doesn’t include breakfast. Breakfast is listed as 16.50 euros but in fact it’s 27!!! It’s nice but 27 is far too expensive. Added with some rude “that’s not my problem” style staff and you end up with the review rating above. Shame… I’d stay again but not touch breakfast...

Great hotel, friendly and very helpful staff, and great Spa area on the 7th floor with an awesome view. Great break fast and very nice, cozy, and large rooms. For business travelers later check in times would be nice.

Lovely room overlooking the sea complete with a sofa to relax on. Absolutely superb breakfast buffet and the cappuccino was first class. Small but sufficient sauna area including an infinity pool on the 6th floor. Highly recommended for a small wellness break if you are looking for some sea air.

This hotel is highly recommended for its location and facilities. I would like to highlight the very friendly staff. (Restaurant manager, service and reception, housekeeping). The food is very good, the kitchen knows its business. The breakfast buffet also leaves much to be desired. Simply put, "everything is perfect". We will be back.

We visited the cocktail bar. Higher standard, but so were the prices. Everything is suitable for the service and atmosphere. Everything was clean, the staff, first of all, human, and also very friendly. There is a compartment for smokers, which is also not available everywhere.

Was my last stop of a 5 city Christmas market. Was about 25 min walk from the main train station but only 10 min to the christmas market. Room was spacious and quiet.Staff was friendly and helpful. Had a very nice 3 night stay.

The person at the entrance said from there it's only "a couple of stairs" to reach the top. But this is not true, it's a full flight of stairs to go up the floor. I arrived early, so I went to the hotel hoping to leave my luggage there first. I was upgraded to an available room and was able to check in early, which was very helpful. However, I was disappointed that they forgot to prepare the room for cleaning, etc. (Although they responded immediately.)

It is equivalent to a fast hotel in the counter, close to the airport.

The room is like the Hanting Hotel in China. The room is very clean and there are free drinks in the refrigerator. It is about 30km away from the EMO exhibition next to the airport, but the hotel price is relatively cheap during the exhibition.

It's a nice place. The breakfast is good and the service is okay. The only downside is the bed firmness, which varies from person to person. I stayed here during the Hamburg trade fair, and the price was relatively reasonable. I would recommend it.

However although the hotel does have wifi, the room doesn’t quite receive the signal well and there was no wifi during my stay. For foreign tourists with no local sim card, no wifi is worse than no window…

One of the most pleasant experiences we've had staying in a hotel. The rooms were well equiped and modern. The hotel looks like a ship on the inside and also resembles like the decks of a ship. The staff is very friendly and always available to help. Would highly recommend if you are in Stade!

Kind staff, comfortable rooms and good service. Its location was, for me, one of the highlights: located just 10 minutes away by walking from the city centre, and right by the river, where you can walk along or even practice some water sports.

I still haven't visited the hotel, because I recently moved to Stade and I already have where to sleep here. I am just passing by and from outside the view is beautiful.

Cleaner than I expected. The place isn't big, but it's very quiet, suitable for business trips. There's a large supermarket a five-minute walk away, which is convenient for shopping. The mattress is also quite firm and comfortable to sleep on.

It was small room but with second bed . Many decorations inside to make the eyes turn to them as for me it was too much. Basic things were present .

Perfect location and an excellent breakfast buffet with limitless hot coffee. Buffet had all traditional German items, as well as American bacon and scrambled eggs.

I could get to the Messe area withing 30 mins and the uestra station was 2 mins away. A handy Mexican restaurant next door made going for dinner easy when you don't have any plans premade

Very nice hotel with a beautiful garden that includes a sauna and a relaxing chill-out area. There is also a small gym equipped with high-quality equipment and rustic, cozy rooms. The service and the food are great as well. The hotel is located in a business zone, but there are restaurants and a grocery store nearby.

OK hotel if you have business on the industrial area somewhere. The restaurant is good but not open every day.

Good location as a transit point. Unfortunately, the rooms are not air conditioned and with a high temperature we had to leave the window open and as the hotel is on a busy road it was quite noisy. Obviously in lower temperatures that won’t be an issue. The size of our room was good and service both at the front desk and at breakfast (which was great) was excellent.

We celebrated a wedding with friends over the weekend. A fantastic location with excellent food (shoutout to the kitchen). Highly recommended! Our service staff was a complete success from start to finish. Very nice, very attentive, always there for us, and above all, very friendly. A wonderful day at the Hotel Westerkamp. This was a trip with my sister, the bed was like two single beds put together, German style. Okay. The room was clean and bathroom as well. It has a sitting area so one can relax and watch tv. Light comes in by the large window. Curtains are black out so during the night the light stays out. Breakfast was included and nothing beats the German breakfast buffet, trust me! It's situated about 5 minutes...

The room and location were good. Unfortunately, the service coordination at breakfast left much to be desired. Shortly after 9:00, there was no more bacon. After asking twice, a small portion was finally fried up shortly after 9:30. The service was exceptionally friendly and helpful, but there was a slight language barrier, which apparently hampered coordination. A manager should be appointed here...

We have been to the island many times, but for the first time at the Nordseehotel Freese. The room was very large, newly furnished and very clean. The ability to store the wardrobe is more than sufficient. We have extremely friendly, mostly foreign staff, absolutely loved it. Every wish was quickly fulfilled. Thank you for that. Spent a week in early January with my wife. The only thing I could complain about (and I am not, I knew what to expect) was the weather. The hotel is a little older but very well maintained. Room was excellent. Sitting area and sleeping area. Bathroom (with shower) was clean all the time. The staff was always helpful. I could sit in the lobby which was great and after talking to the reception at 08.00 my room was ready after 15 minutes which was very nice. Unfortunately half the rooms are in desperate need for renovation. We were in an old room (404) with terrible stained carpets, poor air conditioning (making a terrible noise), shower head wouldn't stay in place and fridge removed. There are new rooms, which they're charging the same price for with far better amenities. We complained and still weren't moved.
