The room was really nice, fairly large, quiet and clean. The staff was very friendly, and the breakfast was really amazing - only the breakfast room has less seats than the hotel has rooms ... But once you are seated, you have a great start in the day.

Without disrespecting the architects, the hotel's design must be substantially streamlined in order to qualify as a "modern" hotel. I stayed at the Altes Kaufhaus for 2 nights whilst travelling aboard for work. The hotel was only a short 10 minute walk from the station and was very central to the pubs and restaurants. The rooms were excellent and very clean, would happily stay again.

We really loved our stay here. The check-in and check-out were smooth. Our room was spacious and had everything we needed. The free mini-bar was a nice surprise :) I had a work call during our stay, and the wifi worked wonderully throughout the meeting. Would have loved to stay longer than just one night!

Beautiful hotel in the very centre of Lüneburg. I was in town to provide a lecture at Leuphana University. The hotel is situated right in the middle of town, not far from the train station. The rooms are quite spacious and comfortable, and even have a dining table. There is a steam sauna and a gym available to the guests free of charge. The gym's exercise machines do need some maintanence, though....

I was stranded by DB late at night and had no other option but to go to a hotel. Reception, Majid in particular, was so amazing and I was in my room within 10 minutes. The room was clean, all the staff was nice, and the location was perfect.

I checked in consecutively without saying hello to the front desk. They would not come to clean the room or replace the drinking water.

The exhibition venue is very close and breakfast can be provided. There are McDonald's and supermarket next to it. Parking is free. Note that Hannover has a city tax of about 5% of the house price.

It's by the roadside, so it's not particularly quiet at night, but I slept soundly because I was too tired. The variety of breakfast is relatively good, but not too much, so just eat some and don't go hungry in the morning.

More than a good hotel! We had a 3-day package "Romantik" half board and included a candlelight dinner. And a welcome cocktail (with 4 courses). Pleasant service, cozy bar, good massages, excellent service. We were in the main building. Perfect base for the Burgberg, Goslar and Werningerode (with the steam train to the Brocken, 1142 m high).

5 stars for the comfort and breakfast. I dont understand why people give 1 star for this hotel, when the cost is €61 for the night in a single room and is clean, nice, comfy bed and great breakfast. Very nice and reasonably priced. Unfortunately, for a hotel with this many rooms the dining room is too small, making dinner and breakfast buffets very chaotic and not very relaxing. However, food is excellent. No a la carte service.

Hotel is nice in a quiet village surrounded by woods. Their is few people who speak English but I think it adds to the charm and enjoy the fun experience. Nice place, room was a bit small, but still okay. Value for money. Unfortunately some issues at the reception desk and the EV charging is not via the hotel.

Not sure where to begin with how completely fabulous this stay was. We are a family of 3 and the amenities at the hotel are great. The staff are also incredibly friendly and supportive. We really enjoyed our stay and very much hope to visit again in the future.

We stayed here while in town for our wedding during COVID. I would highly recommend this hotel, they were extremely responsive, took care with COVID measures, and allowed us to have a relaxing safe and enjoyable wedding weekend. The family Schnapps was just an added bonus to a wonderful stay. Highly recommend if your in the area.

Very small room and no AC. The highlight is the breakfast buffet. Excellent food and great view from the 6th floor on the harbor. If you just use the room for sleeping and you are not staying in the middle of the summer it’s a great hotel. The staff was very nice.

Parking area is sufficient, two parkings one in the front of the main entrance and one in the backyard. Costs 10€ per night, but always spots available.

That place is really too small. My god, the door is transparent. I can't believe how unsafe it is. The room is not soundproof. I can hear the snoring next door clearly. My heart is broken.

It's a bit of a walk from the central station, but it's not too far. The room is big enough to fit a bed and a suitcase, but there's no window. It's a duplex, and there's a shower room on the top floor.

Used this hotel again for the first time in many years - it’s convenient ( so long you have a car ) for Wolfsburg - and a good restaurant and bar on site - breakfast is good you can get a full buffet breakfast or just a small individual breakfast if you are on a tight time schedule and don’t want a lot to eat - The reception team are friendly and helpful
