Just to summarize: one of the nicest smaller city hotels I have visited in years, clean, crisp, attentive service, very nice and spacious rooms, free coffee, cake and warm snacks in the afternoon, big breakfast, fantastic waterfront location, walking distance to downtown.

This hotel is good however it is priced pretty high and the room will only cool down somewhat. The parking lot was full on Saturday night so we had to park in the alternate lot which was a little further. We did appreciate that before the end of breakfast, staff visited each table to let you know they would be taking down the breakfast buffet.

The hotel is clean, the rooms are spacious, and the beds are comfortable. The breakfast was very good. Gluten-free options were readily available upon request. The two saunas were very good, but the pool was extremely cold. Unfortunately, the floor was very slippery due to the amount of water. It's close to the center.

The breakfast was really nice, fresh and there were a big variety. The room was really comfortable and the bathroom was big and clean. It had a shower and a bathtub which was really nice.

Our second visit here, because we enjoyed it so much the first time. Balcony room leads out to a nice well-maintained space. Bathroom has an excellent shower, bed is comfortable and sizeable. Easy walking distance to the town centre, and a couple of excellent restaurants and pubs close by. Only slight downsides are that a bath would be nice, and even though there is a substantial breakfast buffet there...

From the moment I arrived, the staff was incredibly welcoming and attentive, ensuring that every detail of my stay was perfect. The room was spotless, spacious, and tastefully decorated, with all the amenities I could need for a comfortable stay. The bed was incredibly comfortable.

I know this hotel well, stayed there for several months as a guest once years back and routinely return for work in the area. They didn't have any of my previous visits or details upon arrival. It changed hands apparently and all old data lost. I don't think change of ownership has helped it. It has become a boring, bland, corporate-type hotel with no redeeming features at all. Clean and comfortable, but the bed is a bit small. There is a park in front of the hotel. In addition, because of the exhibition in Hannover, the price is high. There is a bar not far from the hotel, where you can have a drink.

The room is nice, with a small balcony and a view of the distant scenery and municipal park. The breakfast variety is very rich. There are also many restaurants in the surrounding area, and the transportation is convenient. It is not far from Hameln train station, and a taxi cost less than ten euros.

It was easy to walk to the downtown area and the train station wasn't far, which was nice. Breakfast was also good. However, the facilities in the room were a bit disappointing. The view was very pretty in the evening.

It is located by the river, opposite the park. The Ratcatcher Old Street is within walking distance, very good. Especially the breakfast is very good

A cozy hotel right in the middle of the city. Very easy to access by walking from the main station which has a direct train line to the airport. The hotel is located a 3-5 minute walk from the central train station, making transportation very convenient. It's also close to supermarkets, bus, subway, and light rail stations, making it convenient for shopping and dining. The shopping center is only a dozen minutes away.

This was the simplest stay of my trip, a pared-down version in every way. However, the location was great: just 200 meters from the train station and about 2 kilometers from the city hall area, making it convenient for commuting and not far from the city center. Stayed two nights while returning from Hamburg / Baltic Sea to enjoy the Südheide / Lüneburger Heide - rooms were well equipped and staff friendly - breakfast was delicious and with big variety - swimming pool and saune facilty rather disappointing - sufficient parking around hotel however with a daily charge

The Hotel is amazing! The rooms are comfortable and clean (at least if you take a double comfort room) and the personel is kind. However I didn't like the fact that I had to pay for the sauna and that I had to reserve a table to have my breakfast in the morning or my diner in the night. If you include breakfast in the hotel bill, everyone should be able to freely sit and eat without being interrupted...

The service was very good. The facilities were okay, a bit dated but adequate. The shower being in the bathtub is a sign of the age of the place. The breakfast was very good, everything you could want.

Our second stay. But still the service is not up to standard. At the breakfast you are met with tables with reservations on them and you have to look for a table that is free. They all looked reserved. No help from the staff Toilet paper is a cheap fabric. The photos make it look like there’s a nice bar. But that’s not the way it is when you are there

Spent there 1 night on the business trip. Room was OK, big free parking in front of the hotel. There's a swimming pool inside the hotel but I didn't use it. Breakfast normal, nothing special honestly, brewed coffee, not from the pressurised coffee machine (espresso style) so I give 1 star less for this.

Jan 2023. Visiting from UK & regretfully got delayed due to a ferry breakdown so did not arrive on the 1st night we booked. We did however email them from Hull to let them know this but they still made us pay for the room (dissapointing) when we arrived. Travelled alone, I did choose this hotel because of the proximity to the railway station. Friendly service at the reception desk. The room was silent, large to be a single, large desk for working, everything very tasteful. Nice breakfast as well with attentive service.

We have stayed for one night only. The room was spacious and clean. It was quiet so we had a good night sleep. Breakfast was really good: wide selection of fresh produce and tasty treats. Another plus was free parking. Location is ok too - the hotel is not too far from a city centre.

Well placed for exploring Celle Staff was friendly and accommodating. It was very close to the town Center - so as a hotel from which to explore Celle, it was great. We were in the original building (16th century), as opposed to the modern extension. The ceilings were very low, and there was a bit of a smell from the bathroom.

I'm visiting Lingen every year in march and last 5 years I'm using the Hotel am Wasserfall. A very nice hotel on a very special place. The Wehr (waterfall) is making some noise, but it is a nice noice of falling water. There is a lot of nature around and you can make very nice, long and interesting walks through the neighborhood.
