Hotels in Otterndorf

I can’t say enough good things about this hotel from the breakfast to the restaurant staff rooms etc everything was amazing how this hotel is only a three star I will never know to me it’s five stars 🌟 will definitely coming back to this hotel fabulous

We loved everything about this place from the clean rooms to the friendly staff, great food, bar, breakfast and a short walk down the path into town! Bicycles and canoes also available to rent and plenty of outdoor space to gather with friends and family.

Great stay Beautiful hotel, amazing breakfast buffet and really friendly staff. The other reviews are true, it’s a really great stay.

Such a lovely hotel, wonderful hosts, yummy food and sparkling clean and cozy rooms, what more can one ask for!

Only been at the restaurant and the food was great and the staff very pleasant.

There is no room service. Toliets are public. There could be more hot food.

easy and comfortable stay friendly staff at reception and solid breakfast

Close to city center with good breakfast.

The beds were not comfortable at all. Both me and my family said they were too small and rather hard. The booking itself was also chaotic. We got the wrong confirmation multiple times. The breakfast was rather expensive compared to what we had and how things were set up.

Very reasonable price, modern well equipped rooms. Convenient for work stages and tourism. Very friendly attentive staff

We stayed here for one night before our trip to Helgoland. The next morning, we couldn’t get a taxi, but the front desk staff was incredibly helpful and managed to book one for us early in the morning. Excellent service—highly appreciated! Five stars!

Breakfast is okay, room is clean. Location is near train station

Nice hotel in the middle of the city

Very small room and no AC. The highlight is the breakfast buffet. Excellent food and great view from the 6th floor on the harbor. If you just use the room for sleeping and you are not staying in the middle of the summer it’s a great hotel. The staff was very nice.

A decent hotel. I stayed there during the renovation. It was a bit of a mess. Rooms clean, ergonomic.

Beautiful place. Beautiful room. Very tastful breakfast but .......the hotel didn't have airco. The price for a room looks including airco

Very good hotel, nice breakfast, good spa area, quiet rooms. Even the room closest to spa was quiet. In the room bathrobe, extra towel and slippers - all handy for the use in spa. Parking area is sufficient, two parkings one in the front of the main entrance and one in the backyard. Costs 10€ per night, but always spots available.

Very well placed. Nice views from the restaurant. Cheap rooms are small and not very comfortable but average rooms are spacious and well equipped. Big rooms are fantastic and spacious

The bathroom could do with updating. Overall hotel was very good!

Excellent Hotel for a short stay in Cuxhaven. Walkable distances to attractions and the habor. Several Restaurants and the museum in walking distance. Besides the kitchen the hotel doesn't offer any other amenities so you might want to look around if you are planning to stay longer.

Very nice traditional style hotel, well located on the old harbor section of Cuxhaven (Heinrich Heine's "Alte Liebe"). A very good team brillantly managed by Tim... Nice and cosy for all kind of sejour (trip or vacation). Two thumbs up!

For the Beach-House Apartments... Modern, well-equipped and spacious apartments at a fair price. Well located. Very attentive and helpful staff (specially Britta and Tim). It really is an excellent option for those looking for a family apartment, even for long stays.

Nice hotel. Be careful to buy breakfast . Cost 29 euro. Way to expensive based on the choises of food.

Great location and service. Always helpful. Rooms clean and well equipped. Parking at the hotel. Tasty breakfast.

Everything was great. The room was large, very clean, and had everything you could need, even a coffee machine. The room was cleaned and tidied daily. Breakfast was world-class; there was simply everything, and the service staff were incredibly friendly. It's located right on the dike and within easy walking distance of nice pubs and good restaurants. The only slight drawback is the somewhat limited...

Was not the most modern one, had some spots with mold, demolished wallpapers and a door, that had some issues. We could hear a lot of stuff going on at the floor and rooms next door. A funny thing was the camera on top of the house, that is shown in your television at the start. So you can watch the outside in real time. Nice lovely breakfast. All over it was an average stay. Payed too much for...

Lovely little hotel located close to the beach in a quiet part of the city. The rooms has a good size and was nice and clean. The location was good because of the quiet area and the viewing to the ocean. The house feels warm and welcoming. I can only recommend a night here

Great location and price! We were very pleased with our stay. The breakfast each day was great and the hotel staff were extremely helpful with all of our requests including airport/ferry transfers. We highly recommend staying here in Firostefani - much cheaper and calmer than Oia!

Top service and breakfast! The view from the room was amazing and my girlfriend and me had all we needed to have a beautiful experience. It is also very quiet and comfort!

Perfect location, beautifully decorated, rich and varied Breakfast buffet, super friendly and helpful staff, clean and tidy, so all in All, really a top Hotel can only recommend. Always happy!

I/we were very satisfied. The friendliness and service were excellent. The room was a bit too small. The bathroom could also be bigger. But it was still okay. The hotel's location is good. However, the distances to restaurants are quite long. We felt very comfortable. Great breakfast buffet. We would definitely stay again.

Very clean rooms. Bathroom very small but it works for a few days. Breakfast unfortunately served at the table. You have to choose in the evening, but don't know what sausage and cheese will be. I didn't like a lot of things. But you could reorder. The coffee was very good. The view from the room was gigantic. We haven't seen that many ships yet. Unfortunately there was no restaurant and we always...

Very nice Hotel with an good bar

A lovely little hotel, more than ample breakfast with very friendly staff and very clean. This is the place to stay if you're coming to Cuxhaven.

Very nice place right behind the water embarkment. The rooms have a nice design and the view to the sea is great! Breakfast is delicious!

A nice Hotel, with super views of the river Elbe, small, but very clean rooms. The staff is knowledgeable, super nice and helpful. We will definitely come back again.

Overall, it's a good decision. The room is clean and the breakfast is delicious. The location is perfectly fine if you're willing to walk a bit – about ten minutes to the beach. The only downside is the double beds. They're actually two single beds pushed together. I personally don't like that very much. However, for a few nights, it's not a problem. Of course, I only know what it's like in one room...

A lovely hotel. Comfortably furnished rooms. Box-spring bed, TV, and small bathroom. We slept well. Breakfast was excellent, with a good selection and lots of small, bite-sized pieces, so you don't have to pile your plate high to leave uneaten. Excellent hot filter coffee served in pots. Very friendly staff. We have absolutely no complaints. Please keep up the good work.

A pleasant little hotel, about a 10-minute walk from Döse beach. The hotel has rooms of various sizes; we had a small room with a comfortable box-spring bed. The location is nice and quiet, so we could leave the window open at night. The breakfast room is bright, and the buffet offered everything we like. Everything was beautifully presented on platters, with yogurt and jam served in large bowls. This...

The stuff were really kind. We came here for the first time and plan to come again! It's really pretty here ans we're happy to be here!

It's fine. I'm not sure if they technically meet the criteria for a three star hotel, and if they do they are edging it very closely, but we had a few very pleasant days in this hotel and I wouldn't mind coming again.

I found this hotel one of the bests in cuxhaven. Kind staffs, great reception and in a very good location near to the beach. I would definitely go there again and I would highly recommend for others.

The suite was large and spacious. However, the refridge was not working. Front desk didn't seem concerned. No one repaired or replaced it the next day either. Staff wasn't the least bit concerned.

Very cute family run hotel within walking distance (about 1km) to the beach. Basic, but very clean. Nice breakfast.

(suite Jacuzzi) Amazing time!! Hope we can come back!!

It was a nice short vacation. Room clean and nicely furnished. The breakfast buffet rich. The staff friendly ... We'd love to come back

Nice little hotel. We had a spacious room right under the roof, so it was sometimes quite warm there. But everything was very clean. Unfortunately, the whirlpool was closed due to Corona. Breakfast was great.

Our stay was very nice, we have rented a room under the roof and it was very clean and comfortable. The breakfast was particularly great. I have lowered the rating because of hidden additional payments about which we were informed only during check out - service fee and parking fees. We do not have a car, so it's difficult to understand why should we pay it. The rooms are not cheap, so I don't see...

Lovely personal hotel. Kiki the manager is a joy and very helpful

Room was basic but comfy, and the staff were brilliant. Good breakfast too.

Nice place to stay in cuxhaven

Really Friendly and welcoming host. Really comfortable bed in a quiet location.

Rooms ok, Food fine but no WiFi yet. Going to be renovated soon.

Short family vacation We had a great, short family vacation. The staff is very friendly and helpful, the rooms comfortable and very clean, and the food in the restaurant delicious. The only bummer was that the pool wasn't open. There is an ice cream parlor and a small shop in walking distance, and it was just a short walk to the beach, too. We would stay again!

We enjoyed our stay here. Even though the hotel was full, the staff were friendly and helpful.

Location Location Location Location Location Location….. 100 yards away from the Beach, very convenient, ecept for fast food, everything is in walking distance. The Room is very small and NO Wifi in the Room, enjoy the 24” TV.Try to get a Room in the Main Building, the Rooms look nicer. There are no real Showstoppers, but for 6oo$ a weekend I think it is a little bit overpriced. If you are OK with...

Nice hotel great for biking and walking directly on the sea

The staffthere are extreamly helpful. One of our bag was left behind and they did everything to help us retrieve it.

Good Hotel, near the beach and fantastic food. Would recommend.

Breakfast was excellent with a huge variety. Staff friendly and welcoming. Rooms clean and comfortable. Location great with a car.

It is a beautiful hotel and i had a very nicely appointed Jr. Suite. The only small downside was the exercise room was rather simple.

It couldn't be better! Great!!!

We stayed at the Moin several times. The staff and service were, as usual, super nice and friendly. Due to illness we had to cancel our restaurant reservations twice at short notice, but this was accepted without any problems. Breakfast was very good and varied. Dinner in the Inspirio restaurant was delicious, but a bit expensive. Despite everything, it was a successful vacation. We would be happy...

- Breakfast was exceptional, fresh, with a wide selection and variety. - Cleanliness was outstanding. - Great staff, whether early or late, reception or service. - Great facilities with swimming pool and sauna. - Food in the restaurant was excellent. We felt very, very comfortable, thank you so much!

The rooms are very comfortable, the staff is very friendly and problem-solving. Breakfast is the perfect start to the day. Otherwise, the food just throws you off.

This year, for the fourth time, I rented one of the beautifully equipped apartments at Duhner Strandhus for a getaway on the North Sea coast. Twice in previous years, I chose apartment S306 (3rd floor, west-facing), and then twice S302, which is also on the 3rd floor, northwest-facing, and located directly below the penthouse level where the breakfast buffet is served. Apartment S302 offers both a...

Yes, I can highly recommend this accommodation. The breakfast was perfect; they left nothing to be desired. The apartments are bright, welcoming, and comfortable. Thank you so much for having us as your guests.

Die Aussicht beim Frühstück war sehr schön, Blick aufs Meer. Das Frühstück hätte ein bisschen üppiger sein können. Z.B. Lachs oder mehr Obst/Salat.

The apartment (3rd floor) is beautiful. Sleeping, living and kitchen are ideally solved in a relatively small space. From the bed, from the living area and from the dining table you have a view of the sea - a dream. The bathroom is modern. There could be a little more storage space for care and cosmetic products in the bathroom. On the 4th floor is a cozy breakfast room, also with a view of the sea...

Breakfast very good with very good coffee and plenty, rolls from the bakery. The rooms are very clean, the swimming pool is sufficient, even the sauna could be used despite the energy crisis. Lovely again

Great location, nice rooms, delicious and rich breakfast, free parking for guests in the courtyard, affordable. Absolutely unreservedly recommended.

Wonderful Restaurant, delicious food and the service was lovely

Not sure where to begin with how completely fabulous this stay was. We are a family of 3 and the amenities at the hotel are great. The staff are also incredibly friendly and supportive. We really enjoyed our stay and very much hope to visit again in the future.

a great hotel with very good service, comfort, clean and modern rooms (we had room number 16). Both breakfast and dinner were of good quality in terms of taste and appearance. A big compliment to the staff who were very friendly, attentive and nice in all areas.

We've stayed at the Badhotel Sternhagen several times. We always feel very comfortable there. The service, the ambiance, and the food are consistently excellent. The staff is always very friendly and accommodating.

A top class house! Very friendly! Very clean! First class service! Fantastic food right on the North Sea coast! More is not possible! More than deserved FIVE STARS 🥇🔝

Top-notch accommodations! Very friendly! Very clean! First-class service! Fantastic food right on the North Sea coast! Couldn't be more perfect! More than deserved, FIVE STARS 🥇🔝

Great hotel, with a lovely pool and spar, the only down side is I know the hotel is in Germany but all the signs inside the room and around the hotel were only in Germany no other languages so if you don't understand German you are in trouble ,they should at least be in English.

It is a lovely hotel, with a great pool and hot tub close to the sea, we had a great view of the sea from our 3rd floor room. The only thing that let the hotel down was even though it is a 4star hotel all the signs around the hotel and in the rooms were in German, I know the hotel is in Germany but in this day and age of travel shouldn't the signs be other language's as well especially English as this...

Very courteous staff and very nice rooms! The location is very nice as well, right next to the beach and many shops and restaurants. Definitely recommend!

The top address in Duhnen. An excellent hotel with a first-class restaurant. Beautifully presented dishes served by highly trained staff. The hotel rooms are very comfortable and modern, equipped with state-of-the-art technology. Strandhotel Duhnen can be wholeheartedly recommended to everyone without hesitation. Come and enjoy a wonderful time.

We stayed for five nights in a 1940s apartment. The view of the North Sea was simply priceless. From arrival to departure, everything was perfect. The rooms were very comfortable, clean, and well-equipped. Nothing was missing. We would definitely return on our next trip to Cuxhaven. You must also say that the staff was always pleasant and friendly. And all my questions were answered... Best wishes

A super hotel right next to the dam and beach in the center of Dunen. First-class facilities and very friendly, competent staff. Parking is available both at the building and in the underground car park. An excellent breakfast menu leaves nothing to be desired. Several restaurant and bar options are also nearby. There are also several restaurants with excellent offerings nearby. We would be happy to...

Woow, just woow! The breakfast was amazing and the reception was just wonderful. The ambience and the deco are out of this world. We will definitely be going back again.

Beautiful Hotel! Great service and professional staff! Luxury care, pool, saunas, massages.

The breakfast was really nice, fresh and there were a big variety. The room was really comfortable and the bathroom was big and clean. It had a shower and a bathtub which was really nice.

Great room and view. Food is nice. The interior is ugly and beautiful at the same time. It’s old but has a certain charm. It’s overpriced.

We (a group of six girls) had three double rooms with a view of the countryside. The rooms were clean and tidy. The toilet was separate from the bathroom 😀. Breakfast was excellent; nothing was lacking. The service was very attentive and polite! The spa treatment was pure bliss!!! Very friendly and helpful ladies at reception! I would love to come back in April 2022 with other girls!!!

We went for lunch for my mother's birthday. The reception was very warm, with 3G security measures in place. We were shown into the restaurant to a very pleasant welcome, and they rented us a cloakroom. Our reserved table was beautifully set. The menu presentation was 5-star, and the taste was 5-star. The kitchen greeted us very kindly. A huge thank you to the super nice and very friendly staff...

We booked our room at very short notice. We were cycling along the Elbe Cycle Path. The building belongs to the neighboring Hotel Strandperle: those who book with breakfast probably also eat at the Hotel Strandperle. It's in a fantastic central location, just a few steps from the beach. There's a pool and sauna in the basement. Excellent! Our room was a bit dated, but clean overall, which is what matters...

Good accomodation. Very helpfull staff Good accomodation. Very helpfull staff

We stayed at Landhaus Stutzi from April 15th to 18th. Our room was very comfortable, with a large bathroom and a great balcony. The service was excellent. The best part was that we had the pool and sauna entirely to ourselves for the four days. Breakfast in the main building was also very good. We will definitely come back. Thank you!

The staff was so helpful every time we had a question. Our room was clean and well laid out. The location was quiet and it was easy walking distance to the placed we wanted to see. I would stay there again.

One of the cleanest places I’ve ever stayed. Perfect for a short visit Room had no English tv channels. Walking distance to the Light Rail. Plenty of restaurants nearby. 20 min walk from the HauptBahnhoff using google maps 5/5 You get what you pay for

Prima plek in Frankfurt. Centraal gelegen. Prima *** hotel.

We spent a weekend in Duhnen and stumbled upon this lovely hotel by chance. We booked a double room with a balcony and were thrilled. I was particularly delighted by the quiet corner on the ground floor – a beautiful room with a fully automatic coffee machine, cake and cookies, a book, a latte, and all was right with the world. The friendly lady at reception, who sold me the honey and had time for...

I had a wonderful stay at Hotel Wehrburg in Cuxhaven. The hotel is very charming, clean, and comfortable, with a pleasant and welcoming atmosphere. The breakfast was absolutely fantastic, with a great variety of fresh and delicious food. What made the experience even better was the breakfast staff the ladies serving breakfast were incredibly kind, friendly, and attentive. They really made every morning...

We really liked the hotel! The staff are very friendly and helpful. A lot of effort is put into the buffet and there is a huge selection. The location is also ideal: 3 minutes to the beach and about 3 minutes to the nearest restaurants. The rooms are cozy and nicely furnished. We felt very comfortable and would love to come back! :)

Nice hotel with a nice breakfast, good value for your money.

Cool but was meant for senior people

Very friendly and helpful staff, the room & bathroom very clean, the Breakfast buffet is simply class, I felt very comfortable.

The rooms are fine and clean. The toilet isn't suitable for tall people. The breakfast buffet is adequate and the service is very good.

We were completely satisfied with the hotel. The location is great, parking is available, and you can reach the beach in 5 minutes. The breakfast was varied and there was something for every taste. We would even give the staff 6 stars; they were friendly and helpful. The room had an external (but private) bathroom, for which you had a key, so no one else used it. Yes, the reception was unmanned...

The hotel/guesthouse has a great location near the beach. The rooms are quite small, but clean, and the staff has clearly put a lot of thought into the details (decorations, books, a small toiletry kit). The mattresses were comfortable, and the bathroom was clean. The breakfast buffet is good in terms of both quality and quantity, offering everything you could want. The only downside was the somewhat...

Had few times dinner here, very tasty food with nice and quick service. Very close to the beach and easy to park. Will try breakfast next time:)

Very good food prepared with love. Those who value quality have come to the right place. Quirky bar with TV.

Really great location right next to the forest and close to the beach. Furnished functionally, even if it would be better if, for example, the wicker chair was not defective, and if you had a few coat hooks and the like. Really great breakfast with lots of choice. So we will definitely come back again!

We were there 2 nights and very happy! You can walk to the beach in 2 minutes and there was a car park right outside the hotel. The room was cozy and clean, the same goes for the pool. The breakfast buffet was lacking. The staff were very friendly and attentive! In a nutshell: highly recommended :-)

Great atmosphere and friendly staff. Recommended.

Very nice Team, great location, fair prices. Perfectly suitable for recreation. At least twice a year ??

The room was functional and clean, perfectly fine. I was happy because I was able to book it as a last-minute option. I found the self-check-in with a code convenient and easy. The area isn't exactly central anymore, but it's okay. What was really great was how easily a special request could be resolved over the phone. I would come back. The lobby is very nicely furnished and cozy.

My stay was thoroughly enjoyable, not least thanks to the warm and personal service from the team: Both the older and younger staff members communicated brilliantly with each other and with me as a guest, without any sense of urgency. The suite itself was a dream: Room 14, my lucky find, is connected to the breakfast room via a direct doorway – a real insider tip! Free parking, a covered outdoor terrace...

It is commensurate with the cost of payment, kind staff and good cleanliness, facilities are sufficient to meet the needs. The stairs to the second floor are very steep, a toilet for tall people is problematic on the second floor

Nice place, late check-in without any problems. Good breakfast

Very nice hotel, new renovated rooms, friendly staff, super breakfast-even salmon and fruits. Sometimes in the evening there is no personnel at the reception, but you can enter the hotel anytime with your card and call them if you need something. Wifi everywhere and for free. I can recommend this hotel for 100%

It excellent place to stay for vocational I liked it nice attendant keeps it up with a lot of games

Positive - Competitive preis, breakfast included (in place or to take away - lunch packet). Very friendly staff. Nice place for overnight stay. Good facilities but I did not have time to enjoy it. Towel available with deposit at the reception. Soap available in the room's toilet. Place for non-smokers. Negative - The duvet was too small for winter period. The bedding was self dressing. Hotel has only...
