Best Western Hotel President in Bonn

I have to admit, after seeing a few mixed reviews, I was a little unsure what to expect from the President Hotel, but my stay was absolutely phenomenal from start to finish. This hotel is a true gem, and I can't recommend it highly enough. Any whispers of it being 'dated' are completely unfounded, especially with the recent renovations and the new management that took over in May 2025. The positive changes are evident everywhere!

From the moment I walked in, I was greeted by the kindest, most professional staff I have ever encountered in my travels. They were always available at reception, incredibly helpful, and genuinely made me feel welcome.

My room was an oasis of comfort. It was immaculately clean, modern, and thoughtfully appointed with nice touches like an in-room tablet and a coffee/tea station. The bed was incredibly comfortable, guaranteeing a perfect night's sleep. And the bathroom? It was fantastic, with a spacious shower that had amazing water pressure – a small detail that makes a huge difference!

One of the biggest concerns I had read about was potential noise from the nearby motorway. I can confidently say this was a non-issue. The soundproof windows work wonders, and my room was perfectly quiet and peaceful. The hotel's location is actually a huge plus, situated in the vibrant Poppelsdorf neighborhood with a fantastic selection of restaurants, bars, and shops just a short, pleasant walk away. Plus, having secure bike parking was a great bonus.

Overall, the President Hotel offers incredible value and a world-class experience. It's clear they are dedicated to providing the best for their guests. I've stayed in hotels all over the world, and this was easily one of my best experiences. I will absolutely be back!

The room was clean, the staff were polite and accommodating in English, the breakfast buffet was nice although expensive.

I’m not sure why some people are down on this hotel. Yes it’s a little dated but our room was very comfortable, clean, staff were super helpful (and always available on reception). There’s secure bike parking out back. Yes there was motorway noise from my room but you can close the window and put the air con on. Plus, you’re right in the middle of the buzzy neighbourhood Poppelsdorf with restaurants, cafes and shops all on the doorstep. I’d totally stay here again.

The hotel is conveniently located around shops and supermarkets. Ideal for a late night restaurant visit or a bakery nearby for breakfast. Our room was clean and comfortable. Excellent showers and great dining options in the hotel too. Overall, I recommend booking this hotel for it’s convenience in location room generous layout.

Nice hotel located in Poppelsdorfer area with restaurants and shopping within walking distance. Very clean and quiet room. I would stay here again.

Clean, friendly service, nice neighbourhood

I've stayed at many hotels, all over the world. The President Hotel was the best experience I've had. The rooms were modern and immaculate. The beds were comfortable The bathroom and shower were fantastic. The staff was professional, helpful (extremely accommodating) and just good people. The location was perfect - near restaurants, a small supermarket, and busses, as well as the Botanical Gardens. By bus, the hotel is 10 minutes from the train station and the city center. I have only great things to say about the President Hotel and no doubt, anytime I am in Bonn, I will return!

The location of the hotel is perfect! pharmacy, dinning, drinks even icecream!!!!!, I would say one of the best locations if you no not want to move by taxi
