Centro Hotel Arkadia in Koln

Basic room, clean sheets and beds, clean bathroom but small and tile joints are black here and there. Good for spending just a night

The Hotel is actually quite okay. The location is really quite good, especially for Gamescom visitors, or visitors. Right next to the tram stop 18, and 3, in a few minutes at the main train station and thus in the centre of Cologne.
Now to the Hotel itself: The rooms are quite small but still in good condition. The bathroom is clean and you are supplied with shower gel, soap and co. The beds are pretty comfortable, but flat head is missing for my taste pillows.
The Breakfast is okay, nothing surprising. A Standard Breakfast with bread and all the toppings. Should be enough for most. More food there is, apart from a nice chew-candy that was found on the pillow.
From 22 PM the doors to the Hotel are locked and the front Desk not more busy. With a door code to come yet again in the Hotel. If you forget this, you have to remove but to 3 minutes (Partner)-Hotel go to get help.
All in all, a nice Hotel which served its purpose. For longer holidays it is recommended, however, only to a limited extent.
For Gamescom and short stays it is perfect for a reasonable price.

Overall a very nice Hotel with friendly staff. Rooms are clean and enough from the size. TV is ok, and a small Desk is also in there.

It's a nice place if you are thinking to stay two or more days in Khöln. The personal was professional and they were very helpful with their advice about best thing to do there.

From the outside it does not look that good and tidy but uts very modern on the inside. The rooms are just big enough and everything is very tidy and clean.
