The floors were carpeted, and the room felt poorly ventilated. During the night, my wife and son had difficulty breathing, and overall the room felt quite stuffy

Great service and location. The room was spacious and clean! Got a free upgrade so we could see the cathedral. Parking garage underneath was a big plus!

Hotel is generally very good—clean, well-maintained, and in an excellent location. However, we stayed in a room facing the inner courtyard, and the window could not be opened

The view from the window is fantastic, looking directly out onto the church and old town hall. The room itself is quite spacious, though I did find my slippers getting stuck to the bathroom floor a few times

The hotel's location is excellent, making it super convenient to get around. There's even a direct pathway from the hotel restaurant that leads right to the river for a pleasant stroll

They also provided a nice stokke high chair for breakfast. We had a handicapped room which gave some more room in the bathroom. The bed was comfortable and the service was great. I’m really impressed by our stay

Fantastic hotel! Even though it's not in the Old Town, it's incredibly convenient to get to the cathedral – just a 2-minute train ride from the station right next to the hotel, even faster than taking the bus

The hotel location is excellent, with panoramic views of the cathedral. The only downside is that one of the beds creaks every time you turn over, which disturbed my sleep.

As a Globalist, I was upgraded to a suite overlooking the Rhine — every evening I would sit by the window and watch the bridge glowing under the sunset. Those moments alone were worth the stay

Perfectly placed hotel if you are attending the Koln Messe. Literally across the road from the East entrance. The staff were friendly and the room was clean. The bar is good. About 20 minutes walk from the Cathedral.

Location is good - 30 seconds to u-bahn station, 10 mins from big deutsche bahn/s-bahn station (not the main station though). a bit far away from restaurants, but if you walk 10 mins, you will be there

Stayed a week for a job at Gamescom and had a great experience! Everything is nice, but I particularly want to point out the great breakfast buffet that’s very suitable for vegans and people on a plant based diet

We have not taken breakfast, cause it was too pricey (30EUR per person) and used the restaurants nearby instead. Also, spa is available for the reduced price of 6 EUR per person incl

Private parking available for an extra fee. The rooms are well-equipped and have everything you need. Very clean with a fresh renovation. The staff is highly qualified and attentive

To arena, perfect to stay! Also to the city center, easily to get there by tram. Staffs are all nice and helpful.

The location is quite good. The room was very spacious and well decorated. Although it is located on a busy road, the room was reqlly quiet.

Excellent hotel, convenient location with easy access to Heumarkt, Neumark, Schildergasse and Hohe Straße. A 12 min walk to Köln Central Station and the Dom. The glass elevator you can see the Dom.

And the hotel did everything to make our stay unforgettable! The service was one of the best parts about this hotel! All kinds of requests we had were fulfilled very quickly and on the highest level of quality

The room was incredibly clean, and it even had a bathtub. But the best part was the breakfast – a fantastic spread, very clean, and top-notch service

It was a pretty good stay. Having a supermarket right next door was really convenient, and being next to the pedestrian shopping street was great for shopping. Plus, Cologne Cathedral is less than a ten-minute walk away.

Everything here is great. The staff is very friendly. But the room was very cold. I really like the minimalism, but I would have liked a small closet for coats.

Place is 2 mins walk from a station that takes you to the main landmarks, including Hauptbanhof. Squeaky clean, great staff and the buffet is really varied, tasty and with everything for anyone, absolutely recommended.

Room as one might know is always constructed and architected in such a way that each furniture has a function and how clever they were to save so many unnecessary costs to provide affordable stay

The only downside is that it's a bit of a walk to the cathedral, about 1. Public transport here can be expensive, so walking and enjoying the scenery along the way is a good option

Room very clean and big with all the basics like bath towel, slippers, shampoo, mini fridge (empty) etc. parking is super small so you must use the public one

Very good location, It is exactly near the chocolate museum. The only negative thing is that The sauna is very small. Overall it was a pleasure experience.

There is a window separating the bathroom from the rest of the room that is painted over but one of the previous guests had made a peephole which was not an issue for us. Staff were friendly and helpful at this hotel

The staff Kyra is very friendly and helpful, throughout our 2-week trip in Europe, she was on my top 1. The size of the room is great with a pretty large wash basin outside the toilet, so it is very convenient

This hotel offers great value for money. It was very comfortable, and the environment was lovely, right next to the Chocolate Museum and close to the Rhine River

Price/quality wise its really a good hotel. Love the swimming pool and the room was what you would expect for the price. Lovely service made it a great example of a succeeded trip!

My favorite part is the pool which was empty every time I went! There’s a sauna too but you have to ask them to turn it on. Of note, the mini gym leaves much to be desired with its six pieces of equipment

I would highly recommend the place for a business travel perhaps even for a family to stay. I cannot offer much insight into the breakfast offering because I chose it on breakfast option

The nearest shopping mall is 1. 2 kilometers away, and you can walk there in 25 minutes. I strongly recommend Saman Restaurant (not the TO GO store), which is a 30-minute walk from the hotel, with a rating of 4

It is a must-stay every time I go on a business trip. The scenery outside the room is very beautiful. You can see the Cologne Cathedral. It is recommended to stay here. It is a little far from the city

Excellent. Clean and enough parking spaces (15 euro). Free swimming pool and bathtub in the room are also a big plus for my kid. 2 Large supermarkets across the street. Will come again.

On a business trip, this is by far the best value-for-money hotel within a few kilometers. The environment is elegant, and check-in was a breeze

I would say if you are travelling by public transport, dont choose this hotel, far away. While the distance not close to city (40minutes to the Cologne Church), the price also did not factor in, but quite expensive

I have booked two nights. The first evening I called many times but they did not answer. The receptionist's behavior was very harsh. I don't like it.

I was immediately offered a luggage service and free entry to the sauna, which I thought was very thoughtful. A wide variety of dishes and extras, such as waffle batter for making your own

It's a really nice hotel with really well behaved staff. It's just a 3-5 mins walk from the U-Bahn. The only problem- the Nespresso machine was faulty and wasn't working

I stayed in the annex hotel not  main hotel booking and would have been a better experience as I had to cross the street  to go to the hotel restaurant for breakfast

Staff is generally willing to help and speaks English well (this is not always the case here) The bad: My room was really noisy until 3-4AM, given that it was facing a very busy small street with bars and clubs

Unfortunately we got a somewhat old and worn out room. The shower had only cold water that day and the sink was clogged. The breakfast is okay but lacks any vegetables and salads, which is strange

The good: Great location in central neighborhood of Koln with lots of restaurants and bars around. I walked here from the train station, no problem. Breakfast buffet is really good

I was able to change rooms the next day with the help of AMEX, which should be more quiet, but now the shower is barely trickling (first room almost had too much pressure)

Watch out! They tried to charge twice the breakfast! The hotel rooms are okey, nothing special; the floor was a bit dirty. The swimming pool is quite big and the breakfast was fabulous. Quite location, nearby the river

Hotel Lyskirchen is very well located and easily accessible. The room was perfectly clean and equipped with everything needed

Stayed for 2 nights while in Cologne, check in was very pleasant and staff were friendly and helpful. Room was clean and big enough , shower room was also very clean

The swimming pool was also quite small, more for a quick dip than for relaxing. On the positive side, the hotel is located in the city centre, which made it convenient for sightseeing and dining out

Great gluten- and lactose-free breakfast. I only left a short note in my reservation, and the hotel was well informed. They got me my separate bread immediately when arriving at the restaurant

Ten from York fire Christmas markets and pals birthday. Rooms were great excellent showers. Breakfast covered all the bases. Staff on reception very helpful. Sorted out Koln Cards for us and 2 taxis back to airport

While it's a bit of a distance from the Cologne Exhibition Center, it's conveniently located right next to the subway station, making it very accessible

We had a night out before the titanic exhibition and wanted a hotel in a lively part of cologne. This Hotel in the Frieseviertel was perfect

stayed in spacious comfort room for weekend. comes with complimentary minibar that means 2 beers and two bottles of water. hotel is nice and clean, staff speaks good english and lobby kiosk is open pretty much 24/7

I stay here every year during the Cologne Exhibition. The transportation is convenient and there is a Lidl supermarket next to it. The only drawback is that there is not much food nearby.

The price was really expensive during the Cologne exhibition. The room facilities were decorated in an older style. It was clean, but no cleaning was done on the day of the visit

Great hotel location, but room view wasn't very good. Excellent service from hotel staff and even provided a complimentary bottle of Prosecco for my birthday. Room was very hot and pillows not so good though

Perfect location for a trip to Cologne. The hotel has everything you need, nice comfy rooms, a small fitness room if you want to use it. Breakfast is good and plenty of choice

Entrance to the hotel is straight line walking a cross the Brenzlauer Platz, about 100 m. Two small downsides: The mattress of the bed should be renewed and replaced with a harder one

And their was some disturbing noise (I am sensitive to noise, in particular at night) from either the compressor or larger blower of some air-conditioning (mine AC was switched off)

Enter the hotel, be greeted with a friendly smile and "just wait a moment" as they were serving another guess trying hard and quit successful to speak in his mother tongue (French)

This is a huge hotel in a great location, Penn Station across the street. The hotel has been remodeled but still has a lot of art deco features that appeal to travelers like myself

Property situated very close to Subway. We were surprised that they have Fee $. 5 as never experienced any such charges. Room sizes were very compromising two luggage bags and no space to walk

The room looked like the pictures and was very large. I rented one of the apartments. Super convenient to the train and there's a grocery store one block behind the hotel

This is a lovely hotel, situated right by the main train station. The city center is easily accessible on foot. The valet parking service was reliable and extremely convenient. Plus, there's a fantastic rooftop bar.

If you’re looking for the best rooftop bar in Cologne, the Savoy Hotel is definitely worth a visit — even if you’re not staying there. Highly recommend stopping by for the views

The hotel was very clean and well located. Unfortunately, the room furnishings did not meet our expectations at all

The room doors were like cellar steel doors, the room was very carelessly furnished with two single beds on wheels. There were no bedside tables or sockets by the bed. In addition, it was also very noisy
