the location of the hotel was great as it was so close to the christmas markets and city centre and train statio. the staff were very friendly and helpful and tried to provide us with whatever we needed

however, sometimes the cleanliness of the rooms were not as consistent, but this is not a big issue since we could call them up to rectify and they were willing to do so

Amazing location and lovely staff! Rooms are a little dated but that’s not a problem for a short stay, everything was clean and comfortable. Bathrooms had been renovated.

Location of the hotel very convenient, close to train station, close to the centre and Cathedral. The Room was clean with a fantastic view over the Rhine River and parrots on the trees in the evening and in the morning

And the best breakfast is the best so far to compare with other hotels. The only thing was a bit annoying, waiting time for elevators in the morning (to busy)

The main drawbacks were the location, a bit far from the city center, which was less convenient for quick outings, and the €20 daily parking fee, which felt high

I stayed at Radission BLU in Cologne for the second time. The room was very good, close to the exhibition hall, very convenient to go out, the bar in the lobby was also very good, with a lot of drinks

I stayed at the Radisson Blu Hotel Cologne during a business trip and had a great experience. The rooms are spacious and very comfortable, perfect for relaxing

The location couldn’t be better, right across the street from the convention center, which saved us from early mornings and long commutes

At first, I was a little confused about needing to put the room keycard in the slot near the door for power—I even ended up taking my first shower in the dark before asking the front desk (who explained it with a smile)

I would have preferred a queen or king bed instead of two twins pushed together since you do sink a little in the middle, but honestly that was minor compared to how great everything else was

As a Marriott frequent guest, I usually don't write reviews, but I felt this needed to be said. For a global chain like Marriott, I found the breakfast selection to be good enough for my needs

I understand that not everyone can be overly friendly, but then a European woman walked up behind me, and suddenly the egg station lady was all smiles and said, 'Have a good day, Madam

Even though I could tell her my room number and my name, she wouldn't accept it and insisted on seeing an electronic version of my passport. I found that a bit hard to understand

However, the lady at the egg station seemed to have a very indifferent attitude, didn't want to engage much, and had a straight face

What I found odd was that the receptionist asked for my ID, which I didn't have on me (my passport)

' This really made me question her service attitude. Was it a coincidence? I'm not sure

What counts is the experience—and this one truly delivered. The breakfast was very good as well, with a nice variety and quality that set us up perfectly for the day

We were truly touched when the staff at the Club Lounge on the 6th floor prepared a Cologne Cathedral-shaped cookie to celebrate my wife’s birthday

In addition, Kira kindly wished her a happy birthday in Korean and took such thoughtful care of us, which made our experience even more special

Thanks to this kindness, the final day of our very first trip to Europe became the happiest and most memorable day of our journey

Awesome stay! If you have the points, definitely choose the Club Floor. It's only 3,000 more points per night but an excellent value. We got a room facing the cathedral, etc. it was spectacular. The staff were top notch.

The rooms were clean, stylish, and comfortable, the bed was incredibly comfortable and the staff were exceptionally friendly, helpful, attentive, and we enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere… The hotel's amenities were also excellent, including a beautiful pool and a relaxing spa… The hotel's location was very very very great, close to shops and restaurants, the Dom, museums, bridge and the Triangle… ...

It was spacious, modern, and well-equipped with luxurious amenities that made it a delight to use. The attention to detail, from the high-quality toiletries to the plush towels, added an extra layer of comfort to my stay

Had a great experience with my stay. The room was large and clean and the service was excellent! The location is superb and just a 5mins walk to the main attraction- Church. Lots of eating options around the hotel too!

However, the most frequent point of criticism noted by guests is a specific maintenance issue: the water heater takes a long time to deliver hot water, which can be an inconvenience during a stay

I book this hotel every time I come to an exhibition. The hotel is very close to the exhibition center and you can walk there. The transportation is convenient and the environment is very good

To arena, perfect to stay! Also to the city center, easily to get there by tram. Staffs are all nice and helpful.

It is on the west side of the exhibition center, and it takes about 10 minutes to walk to the north entrance. There is shampoo, but no conditioner. There is hand sanitizer and body lotion, but no soap

Perfectly placed hotel if you are attending the Koln Messe. Literally across the road from the East entrance. The staff were friendly and the room was clean. The bar is good. About 20 minutes walk from the Cathedral.

The hotel is very close to the Cologne Exhibition Hall, and it only takes a few minutes to walk there. The receptionist is very friendly. The room is clean and sanitary, and there is plenty of hot water

Disadvantages: Breakfast is a bit expensive at 28 euros; the quilt is too thin and too short (but not cold). Summary: I will choose this place again when I attend the Cologne Exhibition next time

The Steigenberger Koln is a great hotel. I come here for both work and vacation. It is a nice central location. Numerous restaurants of every kind within walking distance.

Upscale luxury Hotel with view on the Köln Dom with an excellent breakfast with bubbles service monday to sunday!  The entire hotel is very professional and in discretion adjusted to all inquiries, expectable for a a Steigenberger Hotel! Great location, walking distance to all the great restaurants and shops in the city centre. Main lobby area was very nice and so were the rooms

On the other side, the room was quite big, the bed was comfortable and the breakfast was just great

Place is 2 mins walk from a station that takes you to the main landmarks, including Hauptbanhof. Squeaky clean, great staff and the buffet is really varied, tasty and with everything for anyone, absolutely recommended.

Everything here is great. The staff is very friendly. But the room was very cold. I really like the minimalism, but I would have liked a small closet for coats.

Apparently that's a Germany-wide thing? Which is weird to me personally, because if you step into a Rossmann or a Rewe, you'll get mountains of tea. And yet I had to go back to the reception each time

love pullman cologne! it’s a distance away from the train station but!! the service was great

our first room had leaking toilet and it was pretty noisy as the water wouldn’t stop flowing and they changed our room promptly

It is so small I dont know how a german can fit into the bath / shower???all the rest was good and the breakfast is very good buffet

We enjoyed our stay at hotel Dorint , it’s located in the center of cologne. The staff are amazing so kind and friendly. You can see the Dom from your lift. I believe there is rooms with Dom view

The Dorint hotel is in a very central location with wonderful views of the cathedral. The staff were very professional (from pre-trip communication to check-in and check-out) and super friendly

The room was large with ample furniture (larger bed than usual, built-in suitcase stand, full desk, armchair) and the decor a palimpsest of older furniture zhuzhed up with wall coverings, a decorative vase, floor lights in addition to bedside table lamps and desk light, etc

However, the blackout curtains and well-insulated windows made for a quiet night's sleep, despite the roads and building sites outside. It was still possible to open one window to let fresh air in

There was even a kettle to make tea and coffee, and a fridge, which was much appreciated! The bed was on the soft side and the pillows rather thin and fluffy, which was not quite to my liking

Everything is excellent, just a little bit far from the centre （about 20 minutes walk) to Dum.

Great location, u-bahn station is literally right outside the entrance it's a short journey on the train to hbf, nice easy stroll along the Rhine to the Chocolate museum and onwards to the centre for shopping and sightseeing if prefer to walk

We really liked our hotel. It was easy to get to. However, on the first day, we had some difficulty with the heating. It was also strange that no slippers were provided.

Location is perfect for traveling on the train, the room was clean and nice. If you want any disposable items, you need to ask for them on the reception, also extra 50 euros for a deposit from credit card

I came with three kids and they had plenty of space to play in the bench corner. Right next to the reception is the children's play corner, which was good to kill time while waiting in the lobby

The location is close to the riverside, 800 meters from the Lindt Chocolate Museum and 2 km from the city center. The family room is quite spacious and includes a bathtub

The hotel is close to the Schokoladenmuseum which is just walking distance from the hotel

/Mediapark and this about 5 min away, Hansaring train station just under 10. with been out of the center is nice and quiet. I would look to stay again if i was to return to Koln

Otherwise very good and only one stop away from the Central Station

Good location and good price for the experience

Everything was great. The location was not the best tbh but it was ok, about 10 min walk to the nearest U bahn. The amenities was a bit limited but fine.

There were used water bottles and trash left in the room, and they were not removed. Slippers were not placed in the room at all; they only provided them after I specifically asked. The towels were old and worn out

Stayed at this hotel many times and the team have been brilliant every time. Shahrzad was a faultless host providing great service and wonderful recommendations throughout the stay

Lift available at a different entrance as the main entrance has steps. The rooms were great, amenities were great and the view was awesome. Also loved the aesthetic of the hotel

A good location to stay at to be able to access most central destinations with public transport. Clean rooms and nice sound proofing. I have already stayed at this hotel twice and it is my go to when coming to Cologne

I didn't use the bar or restaurant as on the very first night I entered and waited at the bar for about 3 minutes but nobody arrived, they were obviously busy just didn't really go back

It was a great experience. Stayed there 6 days. Everybody in the hotel was helpful, and they found immediate solutions to some problems. Recommend everybody visiting Köln.

Perfect location, max 15min walk for most things. Sadly no smart TV to cast Netflix to. Breakfast on the slightly expensive side.

Had a wonderful stay at Best Western Plus Hotel. Service is excellent and amenities are 5 star. Bathrobes, towels, slippers, and toiletries are all excellent qualities

The location is a bit far from the city center, which may not be ideal if you plan to explore the downtown area frequently. Check-in is only available after 3:00 PM, which felt a bit inconvenient

Small refrigerator is full of sparkling water bottles, soft drinks and chocolates and all free to consume

Plus Coffee machine with 4 or 5 types of coffee flavors complete with milk or creamer, and also different tea sachets, and chips all free to enjoy and replenish daily

Nice Hotel, nice bar and very Clean,everything was perfect.

They have an own concept called "lean luxury", two completely opposite words meaning in real life that: the walls are "industrial style", there's no carpet, the ambiance is cold (low temperature as well as figuratively cold), the sink is literally 1 meter away from the bed and you have to do your own check-in on a screen at the bar

I don't think I ever had such mixed feelings about a hotel I've stayed in. It is nice on the outside, it is well placed, the inner yard is quiet, it's got parking, it's clean

But the breakfast feels a little incomplete and the personal could be a bit more helpful. All in all, Ruby is an amazing bar & lounge that has a hotel attached to it

The bar downstairs (that serves as a reception) is really good, cocktails are amazing and I'm all in for the "free drink" offer instead of daily room cleaning

The hotel is located in a good central location. However, the curtains cannot be pulled all the way - so in the morning, The light shining into the room was dazzling, causing us to wake up very early

Great hotel and location. Ideal for visiting the markets in late November. It was a shame that the sauna was only operational at certain times mid-week. Meant that it was always crowded early evening.
