The location is great, but the cleanliness of our room was a little disappointing.

the location of the hotel was great as it was so close to the christmas markets and city centre and train statio. the staff were very friendly and helpful and tried to provide us with whatever we needed. however, sometimes the cleanliness of the rooms were not as consistent, but this is not a big issue since we could call them up to rectify and they were willing to do so.

Staff were very helpful and professional. Great location in Old Town. The rooms are alright but could use more electrical outlets, there were only two. Also, the push button shower takes a good 5 minutes to warm the water. Seriously not kidding about the last part. Outside rooms have good views as well.

Good location and charming building. Checkin was slow and when I got to my room om 6nd floor the door key did not work. Down to reception again and expected quick help but had to wait more than 15 min, terrible. Elevators slow and busy, only 2 of 3 working. Room was ok but outdated. Pool was good and 27 temp. To arena, perfect to stay! Also to the city center, easily to get there by tram. Staffs are all nice and helpful.

It is on the west side of the exhibition center, and it takes about 10 minutes to walk to the north entrance. There is shampoo, but no conditioner. There is hand sanitizer and body lotion, but no soap. There is a kettle. The weather is super dry. The same temperature is about 10 degrees higher than that in coastal cities in China.

The room I booked for the exhibition is across the street from the exhibition hall, which is very convenient. The restaurant and bar inside are good value for money, and there is also a sauna. The only thing is that the hotel's underground parking lot is too expensive at 32 euros a day. Others are ok.

The hotel is very close to the Cologne Exhibition Hall, and it only takes a few minutes to walk there. The receptionist is very friendly. The room is clean and sanitary, and there is plenty of hot water. Disadvantages: Breakfast is a bit expensive at 28 euros; the quilt is too thin and too short (but not cold). The hotel was very well located near the stadium. The facilities were also very nice. We had a room that even had a dressing area.

Steigenberger Köln is an average business hotel. Disappointing. We expected more from the Steigenberger brand. Very noisy. A pity that there is no welness.

The Dorint hotel is in a very central location with wonderful views of the cathedral. The staff were very professional (from pre-trip communication to check-in and check-out) and super friendly. The hotel is huge and has lifts to all floors. If you want any disposable items, you need to ask for them on the reception, also extra 50 euros for a deposit from credit card. I love to stay here after late inbound flight

The hotel is located inside the airport, which results in daily parking fees that are quite high—almost half the cost of the room. Also, because it’s close to the airport, you can still hear the sound of planes taking off and landing. However, overall, it’s quite clean. The only other drawback is that it’s relatively far from the city center. All in all, it’s still pretty good.

The hotel is right at the airport, so the location is perfect. Even it’s at the airport, the room was quiet and good to sleep in. Can recommend it for a night to stay over.

Very enjoyable stay. I came with three kids and they had plenty of space to play in the bench corner. Right next to the reception is the children's play corner, which was good to kill time while waiting in the lobby. The hotel is close to the Schokoladenmuseum which is just walking distance from the hotel. The kids love it.

Everything’s fine except the location and access to public transport

We booked this hotel for our long weekend stay in Cologne, and it was a good destination. Less than 15 walking mins away from the old town, situated right at the river and with lots of dining options around, it offered everything we needed. The room was very spacious, with sort of a balcony just above the canal, with comfy beds.

I had 2 days in a conference at the hotel and also spend those 2 days there. My room had a nice view to the river and was also very comfortable/big. Everyone was super nice and the food was delightful. There is also a terrace with an amazing view. The hotel is also close to the main station and the Cathedral.

1. The location is a bit far from the city center, which may not be ideal if you plan to explore the downtown area frequently. 2. Check-in is only available after 3:00 PM, which felt a bit inconvenient. 3. The service was just average — staff were not particularly warm or welcoming.

Probably last time i'll go to this hotel. You can park your car on site for.... 24€.... I took the car and parked on the street for 5€. Sauna only open from 17h to 22h....and you need to pay for it 9.50€... All these things were not mentioned. There is like a self checkin, which is fast but nothing personal. Check out is on a computer that works half, so a staff member needs to stay next to that computer...

Great hotel and location. Ideal for visiting the markets in late November. It was a shame that the sauna was only operational at certain times mid-week. Meant that it was always crowded early evening.

Unfortunately we got a somewhat old and worn out room. The shower had only cold water that day and the sink was clogged. Not a great experience. The breakfast is okay but lacks any vegetables and salads, which is strange. Sauna and gym is fine.
