The hotel's location is excellent, making it super convenient to get around. There's even a direct pathway from the hotel restaurant that leads right to the river for a pleasant stroll. The view from the window is fantastic, looking directly out onto the church and old town hall. The room itself is quite spacious, though I did find my slippers getting stuck to the bathroom floor a few times.

Hotel is generally very good—clean, well-maintained, and in an excellent location. However, we stayed in a room facing the inner courtyard, and the window could not be opened. The floors were carpeted, and the room felt poorly ventilated. During the night, my wife and son had difficulty breathing, and overall the room felt quite stuffy.

Fantastic hotel! Even though it's not in the Old Town, it's incredibly convenient to get to the cathedral – just a 2-minute train ride from the station right next to the hotel, even faster than taking the bus. The hotel location is excellent, with panoramic views of the cathedral. The only downside is that one of the beds creaks every time you turn over, which disturbed my sleep.

The hotel facilities are excellent, especially the bed – it was incredibly comfortable to sleep on. Waking up to the sound of the Cologne Cathedral bells right outside the window was truly wonderful. Its close proximity to the train station makes it very convenient for transportation.

Unfortunately, they are completely indifferent to the requests of the guests. Water spilled in the bathroom after taking a shower - despite a personal conversation with the receptionist, none of the staff came to the rescue. Location is good - 30 seconds to u-bahn station, 10 mins from big deutsche bahn/s-bahn station (not the main station though). a bit far away from restaurants, but if you walk 10 mins, you will be there. We have not taken breakfast, cause it was too pricey (30EUR per person) and used the restaurants nearby instead. NICE FACILITIES FOR BUSINESS TRIP

The conference centre hotel has some very nice rooms with excellent staff. However the decor seems a bit dated and I’ll be honest for the space it’s a bit on the steep side. We stayed over night with our child and while they claim children can stay for free, they charge you extra if you actually want them to have a sofa bed made up. This fee is not disclosed up front. Perfect place to stay. Close to the city center. Private parking available for an extra fee. The rooms are well-equipped and have everything you need. Very clean with a fresh renovation. The staff is highly qualified and attentive. We were allowed to check in earlier than the usual time, which was a very pleasant surprise.

If you are going to the Messe (Exhibition hall) then this is perfect - right across the road! The hotel itself is nice enough - a great bar and restaurant. The hotel is well located, not directly in the old town, but in walking distance to all sights of the city. It is in a relatively quiet area with wonderful views of the Dom. The staff is exceptionally friendly and the gym & spa area is clean and worth a visit to relax. The rooms are comfortable, spacious and clean.

The buffet was great in terms of variety and quality. The hotel was a little dirty and the walls are very thin. I could hear my neighbours😅 talking. The bed was a little dirty with yellow stains on the bed frame and sheets. The sauna room was nice and pretty new but it was also a little unkept with dirty towels inside. It was a pretty good stay. Having a supermarket right next door was really convenient, and being next to the pedestrian shopping street was great for shopping. Plus, Cologne Cathedral is less than a ten-minute walk away.

From the central station, it is about 3 stops, and there’s a bus stop right in front of the hotel, and there’s first bus operated at 4.45am. The famous cathedral church is about 15 mins walk and there’s a convenience stall along the journey. The room is huge, and the breakfast is nice. Overall it worth every penny you spend. I didn't take photos of the Superior room, but it's definitely more spacious than the standard room. The bathroom didn't have a bathtub, which I actually prefer. The hotel is very close to the Chocolate Museum and right by the Rhine River. In the mornings, lots of people are out walking and exercising, so the environment is quite pleasant.

Had a wonderful stay at Best Western Plus Hotel. Service is excellent and amenities are 5 star. Bathrobes, towels, slippers, and toiletries are all excellent qualities. Small refrigerator is full of sparkling water bottles, soft drinks and chocolates and all free to consume. Plus Coffee machine with 4 or 5 types of coffee flavors complete with milk or creamer, and also different tea sachets, and chips...

1. The location is a bit far from the city center, which may not be ideal if you plan to explore the downtown area frequently. 2. Check-in is only available after 3:00 PM, which felt a bit inconvenient. 3. The service was just average — staff were not particularly warm or welcoming.

Probably last time i'll go to this hotel. You can park your car on site for.... 24€.... I took the car and parked on the street for 5€. Sauna only open from 17h to 22h....and you need to pay for it 9.50€... All these things were not mentioned. There is like a self checkin, which is fast but nothing personal. Check out is on a computer that works half, so a staff member needs to stay next to that computer...

This hotel is very new and well-equipped. It is a very cost-effective hotel in Europe. The transportation is convenient overall, but if you use public transportation, you should be careful when you come back at night. You will pass a very dark park. The nearest supermarket is 14 minutes away on foot. If you need anything, you can buy it when you pass by the supermarket and bring it back to the hotel...

We absolutely loved the hotel; the photos don't really do justice to how cozy it is. The restaurant service was excellent – one day we arrived late for breakfast, and they kindly prepared something simple for us outside of regular hours, which we really appreciated. 100% recommend!

On a business trip, this is by far the best value-for-money hotel within a few kilometers. The environment is elegant, and check-in was a breeze. Parking is usually the biggest headache in Europe, but the lot here is spacious and the fees are reasonable. Highly recommended!

I have booked two nights. The first evening I called many times but they did not answer. The receptionist's behavior was very harsh. I don't like it.

Excellent. Clean and enough parking spaces (15 euro). Free swimming pool and bathtub in the room are also a big plus for my kid. 2 Large supermarkets across the street. Will come again.

I would say if you are travelling by public transport, dont choose this hotel, far away. While the distance not close to city (40minutes to the Cologne Church), the price also did not factor in, but quite expensive. The bed size is small, room is hot. You need to get everything kit from reception one by one, but they also out of stock for some eg. Dental kit. I dont expect I paid more than 200 Eur...

Great hotel and location. Ideal for visiting the markets in late November. It was a shame that the sauna was only operational at certain times mid-week. Meant that it was always crowded early evening.

Unfortunately we got a somewhat old and worn out room. The shower had only cold water that day and the sink was clogged. Not a great experience. The breakfast is okay but lacks any vegetables and salads, which is strange. Sauna and gym is fine.

Location, room, service, and breakfast were all excellent. Unfortunately, the elevator in the guesthouse was out of order. I was immediately offered a luggage service and free entry to the sauna, which I thought was very thoughtful. The breakfast is superb. A wide variety of dishes and extras, such as waffle batter for making your own. The room was very large and well-equipped.

I stayed in the annex hotel not  main hotel booking and would have been a better experience as I had to cross the street  to go to the hotel restaurant for breakfast. Really good customer service. Sauna &pool awesome. Breakfast awesome.

Decent hotel and the rooms are quite nice. I was upgraded to the duplex suite. It was cool, but there was no heat downstairs, so it was way too cold. Sadly, the top floor (where the bed is) was extremely hot with no windows or air, so it was impossible to sleep. The room door also had trouble closing. In the Center of cologne, Advertised spa is apparently a collaboration with an external spa and fitness club, which was not clear upon placing reservation. Spa was very nice, wasn’t prepared for the naked sauna’s though as wasn’t sure whether signage meant swimwear was optional or not allowed, probably an English thing, so avoided. Naked people wasn’t a problem to us but families with children should probably be made more aware.
