We enjoyed our stay. The staff in the reception were amazing help. Beds were comfortable. Everythings perfect.

Price was kind of expensive for what you get but was one of the cheaper options in the city. Stayed in a shared room with 4 beds, having an ensuite bathroom to share. Location is convenient, reachable by tram and reception was lovely.

Met expectations. The mattress protector was a bit worn out, though. The hotel's location is excellent, very close to Köln Süd station. From Köln Hbf (Cologne Central Station), it's just a few minutes' walk after taking the train from Breslauer Platz. The quiet hours were well-implemented; no one was making noise.

I stayed here while traveling solo around Eastern Europe. The room was clean and simple. However, the entrance hall had a huge horse statue hanging from the ceiling, which was a unique and interesting touch. The hotel is a little far from the station, but I liked the beautiful street it was on.

The hotel is in a really nice location, everything is clean and proper and you're surrounded by food options while still being calm and cozy at night. there is no airco or fans though so if your stay is in the middle of a heatwave you will be uncomfortable.

Was expecting one of the design rooms like my booking was for a design double room. Didn't get that, nothing bad about it but it was just a standard one. Bed was rock solid and cramped into a corner but did the job. Great location. Great price. Receptionists were lovely and welcoming and felt safe.

Very basic place, small but relatively cheap. Bring your own toiletries and earplugs as it was noisy on a Saturday night outside.

Nice hostel for sleeping with your friends if you can book a full room. Location is close to the center. The hostel is very affordable, so you can expect it to be minimalistic and if you are a light sleeper you should bring earplugs due to the close tramline. Would recommend if friends are only looking for a place to crash at night.

Good for startup founders who just want to stay overnight, good location, REWE direct opposite. If you close the windows, it won't be too loud. Kitchen, bath, toilette, all clean. Recommended for guys and lads travelling, startup founders. Not recommended for family, group of women with high demand in service and parfume.

It was a nice hostel generally, enjoyed the stay there, there is a kitchen with a common space. However it could have been cleaner, there were some crumbs on the floor in the private room when we arrived

It had a homey feel, and as the reviews said, there was no elevator. The showers and toilets were clean. When I returned after checking out and leaving my luggage, there was no one at the reception desk. I pressed the doorbell several times but couldn't get in, so I waited for a few minutes and someone came, which made me anxious.

Excellent hotel if your visiting cologne for the weekend. Staff was super friendly and accommodating. Rooms are spacious and modernized. For the price this was a great stay. Only downside is that it is about 7km outside of the city center but that can be a plus for some people aswell.

Hotel Wilms is a very nice hotel just outside the city centre of Cologne. It is 20 minutes by bicycle to the Kölner Dom, and at 2 minutes walk there is a tram going to the city centre. Perfect for a family, we all had our own bed, the kitchen is big, very quiet on a weekend and very clean with all the amenities you need. Very close to Phantasialand.

Excellent value if you're travelling by car - it's not a great location itself but has free parking and you can easily drive to a commuter train station to get to Köln. We also liked the shared kitchen area where you could use the fridge, stove, kettle etc to make meals.

It's cheap, friendly staff, clean and a nice allround hotel. Only disadvantage is thr location, it's a 15 minute walke on a very uncomfortable road to the nearest bus and the industrial terrain besides the hotel isn't very nice either.

We had a stay at Zagreb for an upcoming concert. Rooms standard, coffee facility there in the room. With closed windows not much noise from the street. We just missed one or two plug sockets more and one more beside table. And the shower cabin could be more modern. Stay was pleasant. Restaurant was good. The 2 person plates are quite big. We would come again any time and it is recommendable. 👍

Because of Covid-19, I only have had the experience of the food being delivered. This restaurant really makes great German food. I had the champignon medaillons and ooh my.. it tastes so good! The panna cotta is also amazing. Absolutely worth it.

Hotel and reception have a seperate entrance. No lift but but that is not serious problem for a small family run hotel.

Good affordable hotel about a fifteen minute walk from the center of Cologne. Clean renovated rooms. With good beds. There is no elevator to that hasn't been a problem for me. Breakfast is simple but tasty. You can park near the hotel in one of the parking lots on the banks of the Rhine.

Hotel amenities are just what you need, the rooms are very clean. It's a nice modest hotel with a family business vibe. Very friendly and nice owners! It's much better to choose these small businesses over big hotel chains imho. The breakfast was also surprisingly good, not a wide selection but of good quality.

The humiliating treatment I received from the receptionist, forcing me to sit on the sofa like a small child, threatening to call the police and other displays of superiority, mean that I do not like a hotel that allows this. We booked a family room for 3 people, but it was extremely small with no space to move around. The bathroom was also very small, and the shower was so tight you couldn’t even turn around. The breakfast area felt the same — when all tables were occupied, it was very difficult to walk through. Overall, everything in this hotel feels “mini” sized.

The location is a bit far from Cologne Central Station, making transportation somewhat inconvenient. The front desk service was rather cold, and the communication experience was just so-so. I wouldn't recommend staying here if you're visiting for tourism. There are also limited dining options nearby, which isn't very convenient.

I was happy to find a washing machine. I didn't know how to use it, so I asked the receptionist, who kindly explained it to me. They also helped me use it. I was very grateful. Our 9th grade class had a wonderful stay at the Cologne Hostel. We lacked nothing. Thank you so much! The staff were all exceptionally friendly. Arrival and departure went smoothly. Our students especially enjoyed the common room in the basement, where they could relax and hang out until late in the evening. Highly recommended!

Clean. Modern room. Bright. A lot of windows. It's in the city center (pro and con) so if you open the window it can be noisy (restaurant, motorcycle, police - windows have a good noise cancelling. Friendly. Breakfast is sufficient. Kids friendly. No air-condition. Nice terrace. Visited in spring. Nothing to complain about.
