Lovely staff at desk, nice reception and social spaces. Clean bathrooms. They did put me and my partner together on two single beds pushed together which would normally be a lovely surprise as we booked a 4 person room, however this was still a 4 person room with a bunk bed next to our double bed, which obviously felt a bit awkward.

As a person who uses hostels a lot, this one was pretty expensive, there were no plugs near the bed so i had to climb off my bed in order to charge my phone, however the place was clean and staff very friendly. Breakfast was a let down seeing that the booking was expensive, it was a normal german breakfast with bread, cheese and cold meat. No hot breakfast.

The place is super clean but overall it’s just poor value for money. Minimum expected things were missing: No soap in the bathrooms, no working wifi, no eggs nor real orange juice in the breakfast. No AC or fan in the room and the window can only be opened a bit, so the room gets too warm (don’t come here in summer). Oh and check out time is too early!

I stayed here while traveling solo around Eastern Europe. The room was clean and simple. However, the entrance hall had a huge horse statue hanging from the ceiling, which was a unique and interesting touch. The hotel is a little far from the station, but I liked the beautiful street it was on.

It was good to stay here, everything was good, location was okay, close the transportation, but one problem was there is no elevator. I recommend to stay here.

The hotel is in a really nice location, everything is clean and proper and you're surrounded by food options while still being calm and cozy at night. there is no airco or fans though so if your stay is in the middle of a heatwave you will be uncomfortable.

It was so hot that I couldn't sleep all night.

The hotel was a new concept SMARTY hotel, simple and clean. At first, the space between rooms was like a maze, but I soon got used to it. The toiletries in the bathroom and the room were all necessary and well-organized. When Asians stay in the winter, they need to have the sense to ask for an extra blanket. The manager, who is from Ukraine, was very kind and resolved the guests' concerns well.

It's cheap, friendly staff, clean and a nice allround hotel. Only disadvantage is thr location, it's a 15 minute walke on a very uncomfortable road to the nearest bus and the industrial terrain besides the hotel isn't very nice either.

Well... it's good for a night or two. It was OK for the price I payed. It's clean but not up to date. The mattress is unbelievably soft. Was expecting one of the design rooms like my booking was for a design double room. Didn't get that, nothing bad about it but it was just a standard one. Bed was rock solid and cramped into a corner but did the job. Great location. Great price. Receptionists were lovely and welcoming and felt safe.

Because of Covid-19, I only have had the experience of the food being delivered. This restaurant really makes great German food. I had the champignon medaillons and ooh my.. it tastes so good! The panna cotta is also amazing. Absolutely worth it.

Hotel and reception have a seperate entrance. No lift but but that is not serious problem for a small family run hotel.

Very basic hotel. The location is great, close to everything. Shops are 2 minutes away. Breakfast included, very basic but it is better thank nothing. It was also cheaper than a hostel. And that is it, there were no double bed in the room, it was impossible to communicate with the receptionist and everything seemed so old.

Room size is big, full breakfast, near Cologne Central Station, walkway from station to the hotel is good for carrying the luggages. Hotel allowed to keep the luggage after checking out. The 4th floor penthouse is a nice view but quite a hike up tight stairwells. The ceilings are low and I had to keep ducking (6ft). It had a patio/balcony area. But otherwise didn't offer much..for what it was too expensive.
