Good location for the trade show and carnivals. Nothing special though. Beds are quite ok.

The hotel location was decent, but the booking process didn't ask for all guests to be listed. Two children weren't allowed to check in on-site. I called Ctrip for 15 minutes to discuss the issue, and ultimately they wanted me to pay an extra surcharge. The beds were very comfortable. My son really loved the bunk bed!

The bathroom design was a little strange, but it was acceptable. I needed a copy, and they made it for me when I asked.

Perfect for a family, we all had our own bed, the kitchen is big, very quiet on a weekend and very clean with all the amenities you need. Very close to Phantasialand.

Excellent value if you're travelling by car - it's not a great location itself but has free parking and you can easily drive to a commuter train station to get to Köln. We also liked the shared kitchen area where you could use the fridge, stove, kettle etc to make meals.

It's cheap, friendly staff, clean and a nice allround hotel. Only disadvantage is thr location, it's a 15 minute walke on a very uncomfortable road to the nearest bus and the industrial terrain besides the hotel isn't very nice either.

Check in, checkout : great. The keys are provided with locker box and you receive it's code on email. Cleanliness : great. Kitchen : great. Location : not so good. Wesseling Nord is the nearer station, that being outside Köln zone. Also Google Maps do not show the stairs to cross the bridge on the way from station to to hotel.

Good priced hotel and the room was great with a shared kitchen that was good to have. Very friendly helpful host. The location is a bit out of the way so you need a car or Uber. If you come bring train Wesseling Nord is a 20 minutes walk along a straight road.

The staff were very generous, they always had a positive attitude. Great for long-term stay though you need to walk a little to get to the nearest train stop. The shared kitchen is open all the time. The rooms were quiet, so were the surroundings of the building.

Great location and a bit like taking a step back in time in a slightly weird and spooky experience! Automated check in is efficient just impersonal. Very good small hotel. Clean room, very nice staff! Only the bathroom are with old sanitarium and without any accessories / even no soap/ at least there are towels. But is at perfect location! I would visit it again.

Well... it's good for a night or two. It was OK for the price I payed. It's clean but not up to date. The mattress is unbelievably soft. We had a stay at Zagreb for an upcoming concert. Rooms standard, coffee facility there in the room. With closed windows not much noise from the street. We just missed one or two plug sockets more and one more beside table. And the shower cabin could be more modern. Stay was pleasant. Restaurant was good. The 2 person plates are quite big. We would come again any time and it is recommendable. 👍

Because of Covid-19, I only have had the experience of the food being delivered. This restaurant really makes great German food. I had the champignon medaillons and ooh my.. it tastes so good! The panna cotta is also amazing. Absolutely worth it.

Nice hostel for sleeping with your friends if you can book a full room. Location is close to the center. The hostel is very affordable, so you can expect it to be minimalistic and if you are a light sleeper you should bring earplugs due to the close tramline. Would recommend if friends are only looking for a place to crash at night.

Good for startup founders who just want to stay overnight, good location, REWE direct opposite. If you close the windows, it won't be too loud. Kitchen, bath, toilette, all clean. Recommended for guys and lads travelling, startup founders. Not recommended for family, group of women with high demand in service and parfume.

It was a nice hostel generally, enjoyed the stay there, there is a kitchen with a common space. However it could have been cleaner, there were some crumbs on the floor in the private room when we arrived

It’s a little bit intimidating because it doesn’t have much light in the hallway, but it is well located and it’s ok because it has a really low price. The image/cleanliness could be better though.

The hotel's location wasn't ideal, we realized that upon arrival. However, it was a clean hotel. The amenities weren't extensive, and they sold water for a very high price; it could definitely be cheaper.

Located in the suburbs, it's conveniently located by car, with several multi-story parking garages nearby. However, there aren't many restaurants or shops in the area. The lobby is decent, with a common area where you can sit and chat. Breakfast is rather basic, with limited variety. There aren't many types of ham, but there's plenty of bread and coffee. Dessert options are also scarce.

The place was great, clean and easy access parking lot. We’ll definitely book again. Staff she’s great and welcoming.

The location is a bit far from Cologne Central Station, making transportation somewhat inconvenient. The front desk service was rather cold, and the communication experience was just so-so. I wouldn't recommend staying here if you're visiting for tourism. There are also limited dining options nearby, which isn't very convenient.

I stayed here when I went to see Cologne Cathedral. It's close to the station and seems to have a good security atmosphere, so I was able to travel without any worries. Thank you for your kind hospitality at check-in. The room was clean, which was nice. Soap, shampoo, etc. are not provided, so remember to bring your own. It was a shame that I couldn't have breakfast because check-out was before 7am...

I was happy to find a washing machine. I didn't know how to use it, so I asked the receptionist, who kindly explained it to me. They also helped me use it. I was very grateful. The location is excellent, about 20 minutes by subway from Cologne Station. The room was just as expected, a dormitory, neither bad nor bad, but average in a good way.

Better than expected. Staff are all lovely and even opened the group room for our party of 8. Room was basic but clean and well appointed. Blinds didn’t really keep the morning light out well. There was a bit of a funny smell but not horrible! Breakfast was good and included. All round very good

Our 9th grade class had a wonderful stay at the Cologne Hostel. We lacked nothing. Thank you so much! The staff were all exceptionally friendly. Arrival and departure went smoothly. Our students especially enjoyed the common room in the basement, where they could relax and hang out until late in the evening. Highly recommended!

I only have good things to say about this hostel. Very warm reception and basically in the city center.

Clean. Modern room. Bright. A lot of windows. It's in the city center (pro and con) so if you open the window it can be noisy (restaurant, motorcycle, police - windows have a good noise cancelling. Friendly. Breakfast is sufficient. Kids friendly. No air-condition. Nice terrace. Visited in spring. Nothing to complain about.
