Didn't like the condition of the stairs and landings.
Check in experience was very poor, automated machine. Room was clean, bathroom was updated and nice.
However I find it very poor to spent ＞ EUR 200/night to have no TV channels available and no heating a bit overpriced
The hotel is in a great location for the Christmas markets. It's above a restaurant, which is where breakfast is served. Our room has a magnificent view of the market, and it had an updated bathroom. The bed and linens were comfortable and pristine. The hotel overall feels a little dated, but part of that is the sparse decoration. I needed ice for a cooler which the restaurant downstairs kindly provided. I tried to order a beer to bring back to the room from the restaurant, but that wasn't an option.
Great stay right in the center of town
Service was awesome, I would stay again
Very basic hotel. No amenities in room. Bathroom was nice, but no extra blanket or pillows. Entrance is strange - through the outdoor restaurant seating. Door is locked until a waiter sees you and lets you in, until after you get your key. Then you’re at a self-service check-in. It works, but it’s very impersonal. Room was clean but hallways and stairs were dirty.
We were booked in a room directly over the restaurant and facing the xmas markets.
We found the room very noisy on entry and the noise went on till gone 1am. The noise then restarted about 3am when the cleaners came.
We were unable to change rooms till the last night of our stay when we were given a quiet room facing another direction.
The reception had no sympathy at all and we was greeted with 'what do you expect with a christmas market'
I would expect better soundproofing of a room to ensure a peaceful stay. I wouldnt expect silence but certainly not a room that sounds like a nightclub!
A complaint will be written to the hotel and i would definitely not stay here again.
