Novum Hotel Maxim Düsseldorf City in Dusseldorf

Me and my boyfriend both agreed after 6 days at maxim novum that we NEVER will visit this hotel or any other maxim again.
We even decided to stay our last prepaid night somewhere else since we didn't want to stay at a place like this anymore. So it was worth the money loss.
We were false accused of taking other people to out room and to be loud when we weren't even i our room. The cleaning service left a lot of garbage in our room, and room-neighbours could hear you coming home in the hallway at night, which even while being as quite as possible would wake them up. Very sorry, but whispering was the only way only communicating in your room after 19:00 which is ridiculous. But even if you use the "don't disturb" sign, knocking and yelling by both personal (which even thought it is ok to quite make a fool of you because of our age) and cleaning service (that neither spoke german or english understandable) is totally fine. I would definitely not recommend this hotel to anyone out there, it's just a really really bad joke.

We did apologize the times we seemed to be loud since we didn'y knew how thin the walls were, but all the false accusations we got even after being able to prove they were false didn't even received a little apology for, and after 3 days at the hotel I already felt unwelcome, and did not want to go back but my boyfriend did persuade me.

The only thing I am glad for is that this useless hotel did NOT totally ruin our trip to my hometown, but I am still very angry just thinking of our stay. Stupid enough we paid in advance and sadly lost our money for the last night we chose to stay somewhere else. But the loss was worth it.
