Hotel AMANO Düsseldorf in Dusseldorf

Fantastic hotel and staff. The lady who was present at check in was a Fantastic boost after 12 hours of travel. Her friendly bubblely attitude was infectious. Arrived at 11am left my bag and went wondering for the day.

Bar is very chilled and relaxing. Rooms are really impressive with a mini fridge.

The deli at front was also fantastic, got a bread roll with filling at 1230am on way to room. I wasnt expecting much. However it was fresh and tasty.

Great hotel for our city trip. Comfy beds, nice shower, cooling tile flooring in room and the location was great. The staff was really kind and wonderful. I would stay here again!

We had a lovely stay in this hotel for my 21st birthday. The housekeeping staff even added the addition of some donuts and a birthday message to our hotel room on arrival- which was so cute!
The rooms were generally good. They were very spacious. I enjoyed the fact that the window opened all the way, which isn’t common in hotel rooms on upper floors. The beds were very comfortable. There was plenty of storage and mirrors in the room, and sockets next to the bed.
My only concern with the room was that it was quite tired. There were multiple areas of scuffs to the wall and could do with some general redecoration. The furniture was also a little worse for wear with some scuffs, chips and loss of paint.
A matter of personal opinion is also that the bathrooms were quite dated. They just needed overhaul, as appeared quite tired and lifeless.
The lobby in the hotel and the bar area was fantastic! Really quirky and thoughtful interior design. The bar was a great place to spend the evening- as well as being incredibly cheap for drinks, compared to other hotel bars we have experienced.
The staff at the hotel were a 10/10! They were all so personable and friendly. Some of them were real characters and spread so much joy during our stay. Nothing was too much for them and they were always happy to help.
We found that the hotel was very reasonably priced for what was offered, compared to other hotels in the area. The experience we had was pretty in line with the price we paid.
The location is fabulous, with a short walk to little Tokyo, local restaurants and into the city centre. It is also very close to the U-bahn/S-bahn which can connect you with the entirety of Dusseldorf.
Would certainly stay again, just some room for improvement with the hotel rooms.

I've visited a lot of hotels in NRW and this is one of my favorites! Excellent location, surrounded by good restaurants. It's clean and the beds are better then one would expect in this price range. I never order breakfast, just a cappuccinno in the morning and the one they make at the recption/bar is actually pretty good!. Staff is friendly and they understand the needs of a business traveler. Special thanks to Andrea and Ulrike for booking me the right room and a morning laugh ;-)

The bed was a bit small and only accessible from one side! Otherwise, everything was OK! Breakfast was really great, I'd gladly come again, and the location was quite close to the city.

The hotel has a great location, the staff are very friendly, and it's quite safe to use a room key at the entrance. The price-performance ratio is good. I've stayed here twice already. Recommended.

The reception speed needs to be improved

Hotel isn’t actually very near to main station, but it’s not far from shopping district.

You can reach the main train station in 10 minutes on foot. The room was large and new. We didn't have breakfast but there were many different options to drink and eat. Next time we would like to stay again.
