Fine but lacking good service hours. The place is fine for a short stay. There is no service on Sundays or late in the evening, making it a bit odd to stay there then. They didn't bother cleaning the room as a result.

We were there for the second time. The location is great. The staff was very friendly, the rooms were great. There are always three of us traveling and we don't miss anything. We visited this hotel for a family reunion while we were in Germany. The gentleman that helped with our food service was very nice. All in all it was a very nice experience. Also keep in mind that there’s no elevator so you have to carry your luggage to the second and third floors.

Review for the restaurant. The food was great and arrived fast, BUT some of the staff was intrusive. I felt constantly watched and, when we were discussing food choices with my partner, I noticed we were "sneakily" being gossiped and looked at by the waitress and the waiter. I had to tell the waitress that I felt uncomfortable being watched like that.

We arrived very early, but were able to get into our room right away which was much appreciated. Friendly staff. A large room and beautiful bathroom with both shower and tub. Absolutely terrible air conditioning indoors during a very hot summer week. Excellent staff and excellent food for breakfasts boosted my rating or it would be much lower. Europe in general has tiny uncomfortable mattresses on the beds vs what we have in the USA, but I've always encountered that over the past 20 years, so I don't hold that against ibis.

The location of the hotel was best. Right in the heart of the city, but the hotel itself was below par. The room is clean, there is free parking, and it is next to the highway. There are several buildings. You need to check in at the main building, and then check in at the buildings behind. It is quite friendly for self-driving tours!

Given the price paid, the value was unbeatable. Yes, the property is not the newest, but it is clean and well maintained. Furniture somewhat worn but functional. The comfortable bed which had a quality mattress was a pleasant surprise. Balcony had a nice view. Of course, there is room for improvement, but at 63EUR including breakfast, it was beyond my expectations.

Very good hotel. The rooms are clean and spacious. Although the furniture is fully functional, it could be invested in a new and modern one, because it reminds of the times from the previous state. Accommodation prices are roughly the same as in the city center, although the hotel is a few kilometers away from the center. Meals are big and of high quality.

Few hotels grab my attention like Ibis in Nohra has. The water enough for a good shower. Something more expensive hotels in this area have a problem with. The internet is the BEST I've yet to see in any hotel in Germany. Strong enough to upload my travel videos and watch a video at the same time. Not part of the Accor Hotel loyalty program. It is only Ibis business. It was clean and relatively cheap. No frills. Breakfast was adequate although nothing special. I'd stay again if I needed a place to sleep on my way somewhere.

This is a normal budget Hotel in the vicinity of Weimar. It comes with the normal amenities of ibis hotels that category and is well clean and good maintained. Downside is surely the rather remote location. Considering the price this seems a good value for money deal.

If you are travelling through and need a place to stay last minute, then I would highly recommend this place. You can get a room using a machine in the area between the front door and the reception area door.

We booked like 10 double-bed rooms at the Hotel Ilmenauer Hof. So the reservation and cancellation of the room numbers were smooth as well as the check-in and check-out process.
