My experience at the hotel and with the provided breakfast was very good. In the meantime, I have asked the hotel to return to me an electric toothbrush an Oral-B made by Braum, which I left accidentally in my room 501 on my checkout day of May 27. Very nice and pleasant hotel. The rooms are cosy and quiet. The stuff is nice and kindly. The dinner was great. If you visit the town is really nice place to stay.

I like the hotel, however they have changed some of the things at breakfast: no croissants anymore, no specialty cheeses amongst others, which were two of the highlights for me. and that while pricing is going up the rest was fine

Really good location if arriving to Suhl by train as it is right in front of the station. Breakfast is nice and simple with fruits available. Room was nice and spacious, wish there was AC but those are rare in Germany.

It's located immediately to the right after exiting Erfurt Station. It's very convenient for travelers using the train. The hotel is a little old, but it's well-maintained and I didn't find it unpleasant. The tourist attractions in the old town are within walking distance. The location is right to the right of the train station exit, and the room faces the train station square, so it gets very sunny from the west. As soon as you open the door, there's a musty smell. Most importantly: there's no air conditioning!!!

The service was excellent, especially in the SPA in general. Nadine and Carsten were especially kind and helpful, always. Breakfast and restaurant meals were delicious, service as well. The only recommendation would be to air the room before a check-in, ours was quite humid and stuffy but got better after opening the windows and waving a towel around. All in all highly recommended!

Stayed there for a week on a business trip. Didn't like the fact that the staff enters the room In your absence and messes with your personal stuff. For example if you don't put away your toiletries, they will disappear

A very nice older hotel. We weren’t enthused by cleaning staff opening the door and walking in at 8am. The pillows also left a lot to be desired, but that just seems to be the status quo for Germany. Beyond this the hotel facilities were pretty expansive: steak house, sports bar, bowling etc. a short stroll from town. The rooms were a little older but well furnished as were the bathrooms.

The breakfast is very rich and I like it. The room is well heated and very comfortable to stay in during winter. The room layout and bedding are also extremely comfortable. I will come again next time.

Not the best experience. Were part of a group. One couple in the group couldn't get a room after pre-booking as they double booked a room. Only after some negotiation did they offer a place in a sister hotel. Rooms are dirty. Location is good. Has Aircon NO KETTLE! Shower pressure is good, but the toilet is positioned so that it's awkward to sit on. There is a launderette round the corner, if needed

The food and service were rather good for a really acceptable price. The environment in the restaurant is not that nice. Kind of dated and not very nicely decorated.

Given the price paid, the value was unbeatable. Yes, the property is not the newest, but it is clean and well maintained. Furniture somewhat worn but functional. The comfortable bed which had a quality mattress was a pleasant surprise. Balcony had a nice view. The quiet location of the hotel is an advantage for people w/ cars. One needs about 10min walk to the nearest train station. Rooms are comfortable. The bath towels could be of better quality. Very nice hotel in a residential part of Erfurt. Free parking which is a big plus. It's a short 5 minute walk to public transportation and then 10 minutes to the Christmas markets. The best hotel I've been in my life. Awesome staff and rooms, with incredibly comfy beds and a bathtub. There is also a sauna and fitness room. Very recommended if you want to visit Erfurt.

We visited this hotel for a family reunion while we were in Germany. The gentleman that helped with our food service was very nice. All in all it was a very nice experience. Also keep in mind that there’s no elevator so you have to carry your luggage to the second and third floors.

One room was at the end of a long corridor and above or below a fitness centre which in the middle of the night was very noisy. It sounded as if someone was throwing weights around the place. And another room had spiders in it, crawling over the person in bed and biting her, red spots on her skin, and she had to visit an Apotheke the next day.

The mirror in the room was greasy, the bathroom wasn't clean, the large bed was actually two single beds pushed together with a gap, and the restaurant with beer garden terrace was closed due to staff shortage.

Overall, we were very satisfied with our stay and the service. Our only criticism is the hotel's accessibility by car. After three attempts, we gave up. Roadworks made it impossible to get through everywhere. In the end, we parked our car far away in a parking garage.

The hotel is about 1 km from the central station. We were allowed to check in just after 2pm but could leave our bags in the luggage room. Room of older standard and they had limited so you could only have the lowest level on the AC. We were given a room right off the stairs, the door slammed loudly all night, I don't understand why they don't install silent closing doors like they had on reception...

The beds are incredibly hard. I tossed and turned all night and was glad every morning when the night was over. Unfortunately, sleeping with the window open is also not possible, as the tranquility of the Thuringian Forest is interrupted by the exhaust system in the service wing. Great breakfast buffet. Nice bar. Excellent spa facilities with indoor pool, 50°/70°/80°/90°C sauna, Serail room, and massage. No A/C can lead to very hot room temperatures on the top floor on a hot summer day. Insufficient parking when hotel is sold out. No obvious option for overflow parking.
