I'm giving it 5 stars because it fully met my expectations. The breakfast was very good, as was the service. There's no one around during the day, but you can access the building and your room via a key safe. The whole building is a bit dated, but the rooms are modernly furnished and very quiet.

I was very disappointed that my friend, who booked the room for me, couldn't reach anyone to discuss breakfast. My train was early, and I would have liked at least a packed lunch. However, no one responded to my email, and no one answered the phone or called back to discuss anything further. Therefore, I can only give the service 3 stars. Food was good and the service very good. Very friendly service and they will try to accommodate your needs. We ordered some combinations of ingredients to get a meal for our kids and very much tried to get that on our table. Disadvantage is not being able to pay with cards and the closest atm is a 10 min drive by car.

It's actually a nice hotel. But there are cameras everywhere, signs about what's prohibited, etc. The constant surveillance makes you feel a bit uneasy. For dinner, I highly recommend the Italian restaurant a little further up the road.

Although it's not a new building, the rooms have been renovated to be user-friendly and are kept clean. The staff were friendly and helpful, making for a pleasant stay. We had dinner at the on-site restaurant. It was delicious!

Oberhof is well worth a visit! It's not a state-of-the-art hotel, but it's centrally located yet quiet. Free parking, very spacious rooms, friendly and helpful German-speaking staff, and a very good selection at the breakfast buffet.

The hotel is very suitable for excursions and also well equipped inside. Some rooms are currently being renovated, but are well separated so that you don't notice anything. Attached to the hotel is a really good Italian restaurant. The city center is easily accessible on foot.

Efforts are being made to renovate the hotel, but this has been going on for a long time. I've been coming back at regular intervals for about 1.5 years. The location in the middle of the city center is of course great. Lots of restaurants and shops just around the corner. Parking lot very small, which is noticeable on market days. A magical, small, idyllic country hotel. We came with no expectations and were pleasantly surprised: an almost enchanted garden, the rooms spacious, clean and very quiet. The people are very friendly and there is even a lot worth knowing about herbs and cures. The breakfast was very fresh with homemade spreads (delicious) and warm rolls. A forgotten drinking bottle was even sent to me immediately....

After I went there without any expectations, I was pleasantly surprised. A small, fine country hotel with a lot of peace and quiet around it. The room was absolutely fine, I could hardly hear the small fridge, I filled it. Since I was on a business trip, I was able to relax here in the evenings. I could eat in town on the way back from my appointments. The breakfast was sufficient.

Arrived on a Sunday about 5pm. No staff only a code for keysafe and my room key. Acceptable room but bath towels rather small and not very absorbant after a shower. Although wifi was advertised after many many attempts with phone, tablet and laptop NO CONNECTION from any of the two connections and passwords. Can only assume yhat when they clised to office the turned off the router. This was very annoying...

I have to say the food was perfect, and the welcome at the table was great. The room itself was stylishly furnished, nice and spacious, and clean. However, we were very disappointed about one thing: we had booked a bowling alley, which was confirmed via email. When we arrived and inquired again about the bowling alley, we were told it was broken. That wasn't very nice; we were quite sad about it....

Very large, stylish rooms, a beautiful, modern, spacious bathroom – everything matches the photos on the website. The building isn't brand new from the outside, but I was staying inside, not outside. Breakfast is served in the main building, so you have to walk a bit. Everything you could possibly need is there. A lovely, pleasant stay.

Hi. I stayed for one night, it was an amazing experience, nice and professional staff. The exact location is about 8-9 km far from Hauptbahnhof Erfurt. Room and toilet were nice and clean along its utilities as well.

Getting there is quite easy, although you have to drive on a narrow street next to the tram tracks. You can park at the hotel. However, if the hotel is fully booked and everyone parks wherever they want, getting out can be difficult. They don't ask for your license plate number at check-in. You can check in online, but the reception isn't staffed around the clock. You access the hotel with a code...

The place has new management. It has been very well redone and the service as well as the atmosphere is great. We have never stayed in the hotel itself, only had something to eat in the restaurant. We had a very nice experience and would definitely recommend it.

The rooms are more "budget" than I would have imagined. Everything is clean, except the air in the common areas of the hotel, which has a certain smell of cigarettes. The breakfast is good quality: simple but fresh and tasty.

The building has a bit worn-out feel, but the room was clean, the late night machine check-in went smoothly, and the lady at the reception next morning was nice. The biggest surprise was the breakfast. Last time I had breakfast at an Ibis Budget was years ago, and at that time it was just a toast, basic yoghurt and jam. This time, I could choose between fresh bread rolls and bretzel-brotchen, cheese...

Despite it is a Ibis Budget the room was very spacious. Everything was clean. Breakfast was really good for a fair price (€7.5) and the staff was super friendly and helpful. It's not in the center of the city but it's super easy to get to the city.

A very simple Hotel, but Beds are very OK, good TV, a really working, free WLAN... Don't like the very small Toilet/Shower that's comparable with a campermobile's shower/toilet

This is exactly what you can expect for a 34 euros per night. Bed is big, TV is HD, the bathroom was clean and front Desk very nice and accommodating. Partially, because they want to give the customer a lot of anonymity, which then comes partially ominously over.

A modern building a short walk from the railway station and the centre of town znd the justly famous opera house (Stadtstheater Meiningen). Clean and quiet the location is ideal and with breakfast great value for money.

Very neat rooms, a king's bath. There is no criticism. A very comfortable bed. Quiet room and a large TV. Unfortunately, I couldn't enjoy breakfast because I had to leave at 7 a.m. But if I should stay overnight in Meiningen again, then only in the Hotel Kaiserpark

I can recommend this hotel to anyone who is a good walker and looking for an overnight stay in very well-equipped rooms with a good, hearty breakfast. It's good value for money. Anyone who wants to explore Meiningen and the surrounding area will be in excellent hands here.

Schön eingerichtet, Ambiente war schön auch im kleinen Frühstücksraum. Frühstück war einfach gehalten aber es war für uns alles da und wir sind glücklich und satt geworden :) Wir konnten direkt vorm Hotel einen Parkplatz ergattern, auf einem Streifen was aber nicht direkt zum Hotel gehört. Der Geräuschpegel war niedrig, unser Zimmer lag hinten raus. Wirklich sehr nettes Personal :) wir würden wiederkommen

A great hotel with resonable prices and free parking!

We stayed at the hotel over the weekend and slept very well in its quiet location. However, this meant it was about a 20-minute walk to the city center, which didn't bother us. All the rooms were newly renovated, and the breakfast was excellent value for money. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. Parking is available. If we ever visit Eisenach again, we'll definitely stay at the Hotel Klostergarten

We also really enjoyed our second stay. Friendly staff who take care of the concerns and wishes of the guests. The room is functionally furnished and clean, the breakfast is sufficient and tasty. We'd love to come back.

Die Pension liegt in einem ruhigen Teil von Eisenach (also nicht an einer Durchgangsstraße), aber man kommt trotzdem bequem zu Fuß in die Innenstadt und kann auch die Wartburg gut zu Fuß erreichen. Das Frühstück bietet frische Brötchen und in der Vorweihnachtszeit auch Stollen (nette Überraschung). Dazu gab es angenehme Wärme durch einen Holzofen. Es gibt zwar keine (Mini-) Bar im herkömmlichen Sinn...

Traditional hotel, kept mostly original for more than 400 years

I do not know how many stars this hotel is, but I can say that the room was clean, and the staff was good. The lady can even speak English, which I find promising in Arnstadt, in East Germany. The hotel has not so many facilities however, and I had the impression that it is a family business run by the owners themselves, since there were no waiters for instance, during breakfast, but only the lady...

We are very friendly welcome. The Hotel is super conveniently located not far from the pedestrian zone. The room and bathroom are small but very clean. So to us, the small bathroom didn't bother at all, was everything. Breakfast buffet is plentiful and tasty. For us a super price/performance ratio. If we come back to Meiningen in any case, stay there. We can recommend the Hotel only
