I don’t have any negative comments at all. The host/owner is super friendly and also very accommodating. Hey, go and spend double and treble the price, that is your choice, but when you consider you are out most of the day and night anyway, why would you! For me anyway, a perfect stay and location.

The apartments at Hotel Elida are run by a friendly and welcoming family who always take the time to have a chat & give advice on places to visit in the local area. Normal aprtment-hotel. Got lucky and got a room with a ocean view from the balcony which was very nice. Good service, very nice pool area, also for kids. Had an excellent stay at the Apollon Hotel. Very friendly, clean and relaxing. Tidy, cozy, pleasant, not the most modern, but perfect value for money. The hotel has its own beach, the sea is clean and very warm (August). The pool is also clean. The staff is very kind and friendly. Maybe a mistake: wifi is very weak.

We had a fantastic stay and were made to feel very welcome by the staff. It was very relaxed and quiet, the old town was only 10 minutes away in a taxi with lots of things to do. Good accomodation for travellers. It offers studio apartments with small kitchen, toilet and shower. There're comfortable bed, wardrobe, air conditioner, sofa, small dining table with 2 chairs. We arrived on 1.11.2025, the campsite was open, but there was no one at the reception. We took the Eglo tent for 2 nights and had a great time. The camping located perfect on the beach! We had everything we needed close,clean,and simple. Nice calm atmosphere as well.

An amazing friendly campsite. Good food and service in the taverna. Very clean facilities. Right on the beach. (Turtles included). Food shops within 150m. You can even rent tents and come with just your suitcase. Camp kitchen available if you want to cook, electric hookups so you can run a fan if needed and charge your electrical goods. Camping Elizabeth is a beautiful campsite on the outskirts of Rethymno. The trees and bushes are very well maintained to provide shadow on the camping spots and also look great.
