This hotel was basic and cheap, which is great if that’s all you want. However, the food was not great; there wasn’t a big choice, the chef clearly can’t cook eggs (the omelette and scrambled eggs were SO rubbery) the salad bits were nice though. The room I had was ok, but the bathroom door didn’t close properly, the bed was very lumpy, I had to pay €10 for a kettle for my sleep apnoea device.. but...

We arrived quite late and we were greeted by friendly staff and showed us to our rooms. The rooms were typical Grecian, basic but clean. Our room was located on the second floor with a balcony overlooking the large pool. We had a double bed, single bed, kitchen area, wardrobe and desk. Simply spectacular, 100% worth the stay in such a wonderful, family-friendly place. There's a bus from the airport to the hotel door, basically. Great place for a family holiday this place caters for all ages We were located in the annex which was great and catered better for adults the pool area was quieter leaving the main pool area for families Food there was plenty of choice however some of it could have been hotter Room we had was lovely and had a great walk in shower However the showers downstairs in the main area could do with an upgrade...

Hotel was ok. Not good enough for 4 star. There's good & bad here. First up, the Aegean classes its self as a 4* hotel, meaning the tourist tax is €10 per room, per night - payable on check in. Second up, it's a no flushing loo roll place, which is fairly common but worth noting as most of the 2 bed suites only have one bathroom. Be sure to give the kids a quick show of how to use the bidet / hose! Staff - a couple of the bar & waiting...

Although both the hotel and Jet2 rate this 4 stars if definately isn't, this is 3 stars at best. Main complex rooms clean they are tired and shabby and in need of modernisation. The alcohol is all local spirits(which were awful) and no ability to upgrade to a premium drinks package, paid for all inclusive but after 11pm you had to pay for drinks !!! Stayed here for a week. Very relaxed hotel and quiet but getting busier as we left. All the staff work extremely hard here. Visited some friends who were staying atvthese apartments. They were delighted with the refurbishment of the rooms and facilities from last year. Everything looked fresh and new. Had dinner with them there at the lovely restaurant on the sea front. The staff were amazing, very friendly and attentive. Food and drink were well-priced. Would highly recommend this place.

I've just returned from the most peaceful relaxing & refreshing 7 days at these apartments. The location is right on the seafront. The sunsets are amazing. 5 minutes walking to lovely shops, supermarkets, bars, tavernas & nightlife if you wish to boogie. The apartments provide facilities for cooking. Hower I took advantage of the food on offer at breakfast & dinner. I was quite happy with the choices...

Our first time in Crete and we stayed at Kaissa Beach . Very nice for kids ,helpful and friendly staff ,plenty oft space for sunbathing round the pool , and good prices for cocktails at nicht .Definitely coming back .Big thanks to everyone for avery happy holiday in Gouves .See you soon .

Its quite more than 1 swimming pool 1 wich is inside warm water i 1 of the pool was outside my room wich was lovely i did enjoy

The hotel is great. The rooms are cleaned, the pool water is also always clean. The breakfast consists of local products(lots of sweet stuff). Anna is a wonderful host. She is always happy to help you and tries to make your stay as pleasant as possible.

Absolutely top class suites. Small complex of suites, some with private pools and hot tub and a gorgeous communal pool. This place just oozes class. Great suites with everything you could possibly need and would definitely recommend those with private pools. A lot of money has been spent on this project and you can tell. Volta suites seem to be brand new and are in a great location only a 5 mins walk to the sea, some of the suites have hot tubs whilst others have swimming pools there is also an outdoor pool and outdoor gym. Super friendly welcome from Giorgos and an amazing breakfast delivered to the room to enjoy on our balcony.

Myself and my young son stayed here for a week in May. This small, family run hotel is made up of apartments as well as a villa. The whole place is immaculate, it’s so clean and so well maintained. The family who run it are obviously passionate about their business and it shows. All staff are lovely; friendly and attentive without being intrusive. Very lovely place! Very easy communication via whatsapp as we arrived late at night. Key was ready at the door. Room is nice, kitchen tiny but absolutely perfect for such a stay. Loved the pool area very much! Love plane spotting and was not dissappointed.

A place where you feel good. Clean, hospitable, proper and varied food. An adapted situation with a diverse offer of leisure activities in the vicinity, a public transport stop nearby, which allowed us to travel autonomously.

Nice and clean. The food is very good. The staff is very friendly and hospitable. The staff worked really hard as changes were made due to covid 19. They did a great job. Entertainment is again limited, but very interesting. Animators Clemence and Florin really helped to spend the holiday.

Really Great place. Family run and will do anything to make your stay welcome. A fantastic snack bar with the best homemade chips. Great cocktails and they generate an atmosphere that makes, not only residents, but non residents want to spend the evening there. Watch out though, it can get very messy and very late before that bar closes! Will definitely return!

Returned to Andreas after a long absence, and it was just as wonderful as I remembered! A really welcoming environment, the atmosphere was fantastic. It's only a short walk from the beach, and there's plenty of restaurants and shops around. The area's lovely and quiet, and if you want something a bit busier, Heraklion is only a 15 minute car ride. Michalianna suites is thea best choice! They are really nea and fabulous close to bars, restaurants, shops and of course 3 minutes away from the beach.. The guests are really pleasured.. There are many activities and sights close to apartments.. We enjoyed our holidays..

The hotel is really clean, as is the pool and bar area. The owner is great, he is really relaxed and asks nothing of you other than if you're enjoying your stay, he is very attentive to anything you need too. The location is great, it is less than two minutes from the beach, restaurants, shops etc and is still nice an quiet. I cannot recommend this hotel enough, and cannot fault it in any way.

Great stay and owner was so friendly and helpful couldn't have done more for us. Also very clean and the cleaner was there every day with regular changing of bedding and fresh towels. Great location also for beach and restaurants. Had a great holiday and kids loved the pool which was also very clean
