The hotel has been partially updated and is generally clean, however the upgrade has been done to general areas around pool and partial in rooms so photos do not reflect the full hotel. Staff were friendly and helpful. Food quality was mixed, crockery was often not fully clean and still wet when stacked at buffet start. Staff were great. We had a 2 bedroom apartment. The room was clean but very dated. Single beds. Limited storage. Kitchen area was very hard to work with. No real balcony or view. The apartment is at great location next to the beach. The owners were super helpful and kind. Were happy with us staying at the pool last day of our visit, even if we already checked out from our apartment! And not to forget to mention, treated us with Greek coffee & homemade Raki. Quiet apartments, friendly owner. The studios are spacious, the kitchen is equipped with basic utensils. We only took the bins out ourselves, they were cleaned only once during the week. but otherwise nice living close to beaches and shops.

Nice place, very nice hosts. Mary and John..very good and hospitable people. They have a dog and few cats. Rooms are clean and quite comfortable, the bed too.. little problem is an air con, which you need to rent for 6eur/day. And in this time of year the air con is a must have. The WiFi is poor in rooms, but good in pool area. Beach is near, shops and bars too. Location is great.

Location is very good, beach is just 100 m away. Apartment is very clean, just One problem is that air conditioner cost here 6 euro per day, which i think is not fair. At The end of the day its imposible to sleep. It feel like you are in sauna. So you have to keep all The Windows open and still its not helping and The mosquitoes flys in and bites you all night. So, first of all, I want to tell you that the furniture is very modern! The water in the bathroom is very abundant. On the other hand, Rania, the host, is very absent, and she only speaks Greek, not a big deal in itself. The sheets and towels are only changed every 4 days 😪 On the balcony, it is impossible to stay, because no shelter is provided, such as a parasol. The kitchen is not well equipped...

Comfortable studio apartments just a stones throw from the sea!

If you want to have more than just regular holidays, then just go here. If you ever have the chance to stay with Rania and Kostas for an evening with wine, beer, rakia and some gyros, then maybe you will understand me, that there is no other choice than here. Its something like you are part of the familiy. :-)))))

Crete stay Great apartment and great balcony. One thing I would mention is that the shampoo and shower gel was in two glass jugs. I think this is very dangerous because if they slipped out of my hand on to the tiles floor there would be glass all around my bare feet- bit silly really. We had a lovely stay at the apartment. Lots of choice for restaurants, close to a few beaches, lots of holiday shops, apartment was clean and tidy and host very friendly.

Very good hotel. We had a seaview studio. The studio had everything we needed, a small kitchenette with pots and pans, a nice bed with comfortable mattress and a very nice bathroom. The unit was perfectly cleaned! Easily the best place i stayed in Crete! Would definitely visit again!

Absolutely loved these apartments ideally located for a quick transfer from the airport. We stayed in a superior one bedroom apartment, which was well worth the extra. Yes, you are on the flight path, but that didn't bother us, and in all honesty, after the first night, it didn't bother us. My mum and I visited Volta Suites for a 12 night holiday and it was wonderful! Giorgos and the team were amazing hosts and made sure everything was perfect for our stay. We had an amazing week at this home! The host, Nikolaos, is a genuinely friendly family man who went out of his way to accommodate our needs. We had spontaneously come to Michalannia Appartments because there was an overbooking in another hotel. Nikos and his wife welcomed us very hospitably and immediately prepared an apartment for us.
