The beach is amazing, the pools are very nice and clean, the staff and dining was great, we had an amazing time and we’re very happy that we booked this resort for two weeks!

The resort is huge so although it was full, you couldn’t feel it. Nice activities, lots of pools, you can always find a spot with a sun bed in one of the pools. The variety of food is good and you can can always find what (and where) to eat. We had a great time!

Listed as a four-star, but more like a three. It was okay overall, but could’ve been better. Cleanliness was alright. The food wasn’t great — pretty disappointing, to be honest. The area around was fine, just not much going on

We had a great stay here over the past few days. Great food, drinks, beach and vibes. We especially liked Aris at Idaia bar who made us great cocktails! I spent a week at the resort all-inclusive with my daughter. After initially being given a somewhat noisy room, we requested a quieter one, which was immediately accommodated. Myself and my partner have really enjoyed our stay at Lyttos Mare. The service from bar staff has been spot on. The entertainment has been amazing... in particular John who is a very warm and funny character. We were very lucky to revieve an upgrade on our room which had a pool!

We booked a different hotel and really didn’t feel comfortable so found this place and transferred here the same night of check in. We were so relieved. We stayed for a week in a suite with a private pool and loved it. The staff were excellent to a fault, especially the bar staff - couldn't rate them high enough. The food was much better than your average all inclusive resort, especially the Veranda for breakfast (courtesy of our room) and Abrazo Mexican. If you're going to Crete and want a 5 star resort then you should consider the Stella Palace....

This was a 5 star hotel 25 years ago, now max 3 stars. Overal a bit dirty, old material, just not what we expected. Also i asked a drink at 5h in the morning and this was not possible, so thats not the service you provide as a 5-star in Europe. They need do downgrade this hotel asap.

My only circumstances are bottled water is not free . No shower near main pool . Toilets not on same level as pool especially with children . -1 floor for indoor pool could potentially have a sauna /steam room to enhance the experience. Although the food choices are good. Maybe themed nights & pool snacks could be introduced.
