What a stunning hotel! Calm. Peaceful. I stayed in one of the apartment suites overlooking the ocean. Staff always go out of the way. Easily the best hotel/resort we have ever stayed at. We had our wedding at Amirandes and also stayed for a few nights. The whole wedding planning process was seamless thanks to their professional staff. You can see how luxury the hotel is right from the main gate entrance. We will definitely go back again!

Other than the architecture of the lobby and entrance area and the good natured staff, it was the worst stay I have ever experienced. They sell u the room as luxury sea view and you pay over euro 500 a night for a run down room. Food is mediocre, WiFi doesn’t work, and staff are ill trained to handle customer demands. This is an excellent location for a tranquil break. Good food choices with lots of flavour. There was always space around the pools and the beach was easy to access. It was shallow enough to snorkel and spotted a few fish. I would choose this hotel again when I visited Crete. The bus stop was quite a walk away but the buses are easy to use.

Absolutely loved it there.The service was excellent and so friendly. The whole place was clean and the food was fine for us. The area of gouves is relatively quiet but that was perfect for this break. Would definitely return. Only complaint is the towels on every sunbed with no one to be seen. We stayed here in August with 1 and 3 year old. We booked the Petit suite sea view with jacuzzi. The check in was nice. The room was generally ok. The hotel has perfect service. My daughter was ill during our stay and the hotel staff was incredibly helpful and nice and ensured that all our needs were taken care of.
