The hotel is nice, clean and the food is delicious. The rooms are large and cleaned daily. There are tree swimming pools beetwen trees and flowers. The restaurant serves, among others, Greek dishes. Friendly hard working staff often reminding people to wear masks while self serving food which must get to them.
Choice of three pools or use the free bus which runs to the beach three times a day ! The food was nice enough but don't expect five star food at three star prices.

This hotel is budget. It is 3 star. Not 5. Food..not great but it is not expensive to eat out. Upon arrival, we were accommodated in the basement of the hotel. The room was small and not very cozy. The food selection was monotonous throughout the stay. The hotel pool was perfect, as the beach is 600m away, so you don't want to walk all the time. The hotel bar was excellent, acceptable drinks and as a bonus ice cream. For the undemanding, an excellent hotel with a walk to the beach.

I want this review to be as accurate as possible from our experience . We have stayed a week AI, before start of the season. Hotel was only half full first four days and the fullish last 3 days.
The good points : very quiet just before season, lovely restaurant staff, great view from room, spacious rooms with balconies, dining with the view, close to the beach, small hotel/ apartments.

We stayed a week at Kaissa Beach, we were pleasantly surprised the hotel has recently been refurbished and looks better in person than the photos. Very helpful friendly staff, we stayed half board, breakfast was fresh and varied, evening meal average buffet style, but still nice. The pool was clean and well maintained- they cleaned it during our stay too. We were upgraded to a room with a balcony....
Staff here are lovely and really helpful, but food quality and variety really lets it down. As a hotel/apartment complex that offers an all inclusive service, the variety of food and particularly drinks is too limited. Offering only local beer, wine, ouzo and soft drinks on the all inclusive service is embarrassing and frankly unacceptable. Jet2 need to re-think using this place on their all inclusive...
Visited some friends who were staying atvthese apartments. They were delighted with the refurbishment of the rooms and facilities from last year. Everything looked fresh and new. Had dinner with them there at the lovely restaurant on the sea front. The staff were amazing, very friendly and attentive. Food and drink were well-priced. Would highly recommend this place.
I've just returned from the most peaceful relaxing & refreshing 7 days at these apartments. The location is right on the seafront. Absolutely loved these apartments ideally located for a quick transfer from the airport. We stayed in a superior one bedroom apartment, which was well worth the extra. What a find!! Spotlessly clean, helpful staff, lovely swimming pool (unmanned but not too deep with the same depth from end to end) road in front is a busy road but after a while hardly notice it.

Close to the beach and the local restaurants, this hotel has to offer really clean and spacious rooms with all the facilities,e.g. room service,parking space,bathroom amenities and a pool with a garden. Bella Vista is a small, family run hotel. It’s a bit of a walk to the nearest beach (40 mins) but what it offers more than compensates for this.

Really like it, peace and quiet and clean. Location is a few steps to the beach and a host is a good person. Plenty of shops around and bus stop to Heraklion is 2 minutes away. It also has nice places for a coffee. I recommend to anyone who is in Kokkini Hani.
Beautiful view on the sea and island on the horizon. Very clean room, swimming pool, and nice host. Disadvantages: someone can disturb the noise made by plane landing to Herakleion airport (10 km fare away), old room assortments, and poor wifi signal in some rooms.

The pool at Pelamare is good but you don't even need it because the departments are only 20m away from the sea, so you can jump into it every morning before breakfast.
