The hotel is in a very good area with amazing beach front, near restaurants and shopping area. The food is very basic, not tasty, boring English breakfast… No entertainment, lots of old people. The room is old, rusty but I give 4 🌟 for the pool area and the beach

We had such a lovely time here at the Zeus Palm Beach. We had no booking at the hotel, but had sunbeds on the beach. We also ate and had some drinks at the bar. Gianis, the bartender is such a great man, very friendly and helpful! He made our stay a memorable one, so we came back at this place the following days too. We enjoyed everything here. He has a golden heart for people, we will come next year...

Very nice location, situated on the beach. It has everything you need: bar beach, pool, restaurant with amazing food. I stayed in August 2025 in this hotel and I highly recommend it for a relaxing trip with the best sea and beach view. The sunbeds area is next to the beach and with many beautiful palms. There are also sunbeds on the beach, with an additional cost, but we used the ones free, as they were also have palms shadow and they were perfect. Actually one of the best places in Stalis we’ve been to. The bartender- Janis, a generous, most cheerful staff member. He served us delicious greek salad and pork gyros, was even so nice he got us free drinks after. The food is worth its money. There was no problem providing sunbeds for family of four. Good location in the center of Stalis. Hotel recently renovated, few meters far from the see it offers a nice view on it. The reception service is a bit poor. The ladies working here are instead lovely. We found it too expensive for what it offered and compared to how is presented on internet. Not worth 120 Eur/night but overall if you find a good deal it is a good pick. Do not expect a huge breakfast...

This is an excellent place to spend a wonderful holiday. The appartement is tidy, cosy, and functional. The hosts are friendly, kind and helpful. The view to the Mediterranean sea is scenic. In about 10 minutes you can get to the beach. There are a lot of taverns, restaurants and supermarkets with good prices and tasty food. We enjoyed every moment. The is a bus station near by and you can get to Heraklion...

The owners warmly welcomed us and were very understanding given we were a big group. They took the time to speak to us and have drinks with us, the cost/service ratio is excellent ! Had an overall great stay and I highly recommend staying there and get to know Litsa and her family :)

The best apartments in Stalis! We have stayed with George at Lia Sofia a number of times now and keep returning. It feels like a home from home. Apartments are spotlessly clean, in a quiet area just off of the beach road. It’s in an ideal location for exploring Stalis. It has a welcoming family environment that keeps us returning each year.

The rooms are basic nothing fancy, best rooms are the one bedroom apts. they are large. As for self catering not much for cooking no microwave only 2 ring hot plate frying pan and 2 pots a fridge and some utensils plus an electric kettle. Sunbeds are free large swimming pool, lovely grass areas and easy access to the beach.

The owner, George, is very nice, helpful and flexible. 😊 The apartment is very pleasant, clean, sophisticated and perfectly equipped with everything. 👌🏾 During my 1 week stay, they cleaned twice and changed towels twice. Great location just a few steps from the beach, bar's, restaurants and shops, yet quiet and peaceful. Really comfy beds with thick mattresses. Water, wine and chocolate cake waiting for us in our room on arrival. Run by a lovely family.

A very cozy, home-like place. The hotel grounds are beautifully green, filled with pleasantly fragrant roses, and feature two-story sections. Having read some recent reviews, we were dubious about going but thought we've paid so will go and see. The place was clean, rooms were fine and the food was much better than anticipated. There were 2 downsides... There is nowhere to sit inside for drinks and we going the restaurant managed to be rude at the beginning of the week.

What an absolute find this hotel was. We went fully inclusive the food was excellent the staff can't do enough for you they are a credit to the hotel. The Manager is also very hands on and will do anything to help if you have any queries. I mentioned I didn't think the hairdryer was very good in our room...the next day a new hairdryer arrived! Amazing stay!! Olga and George took care of us like family. I would recommend this to anyone looking to stay close to a beach with good hospitality. The pool is perfect and not busy. You can have the place to yourself. There is also a church outside so you can pray if need be. Great place.

We stayed at Alai Tribute Portfolio twice this October, at the beginning of our trip and then again to end our holidays, because we simply loved it that much. The service is excellent, the people are incredibly kind, and the breakfasts are delicious. What really impressed us is that even at the end of the season, there are still many staff members working, which shows how much the hotel cares about...

Beautiful Hotel and amazing staff. We arrived after a delayed flight to this fantastic hotel. We were immediately welcomed and offered refreshments and shown to our room which was room 424. Lovely room not the best views we were on the side facing another building but you can still see the sea and the watch people going by on the main road. We have been going to Maistrali for a number of years now, twice a year, and it has always been brilliant. Christina and George and Frodo, the dog, always make you feel welcome. The staff, Nikos, Maria, Katerina, and others, are great and more like friends. A warm welcome on arrival, nice room, excellent food and a really good location. Our hosts were attentive and kept us amused (and George is good if your car has a flat battery!). We're old and would really have been better off on the ground floor, but that's our fault. This is a really good place to relax and a short walk from the shops.

Very clean apartment, friendly personal, close to the sea...in fact the restaurant has tables on the seafront, best chef in town - makes very tasty food. The hotel is 5min from a long sandy beach, but you can make skooba diving in front of the hotel. Downtown you can rent a car/moto/quad and visit the hole island of Crete.

Just returned from the most wonderful week at Nikos apartments. Such a friendly and welcoming atmosphere where the owners, Effie & Van, cannot do enough for you. The location is ideal, just a short walk to so many lovely restaurants, bars and the beach. Cannot recommend staying here enough and we definitely will be back!

I stayed at Nikos Apatments Stalis for a week. If you love peace and quiet, then this accommodation is just for you! Stalis is a few minutes from the center and it is always nice to walk. I came to Nikos apartments this year with my family and boyfriend and I cannot recommended these apartments enough. We spent most of our days around the pool/bar area with the comfy sun loungers which there are many of to accommodate everyone, the excellent food cooked by Fofi, the great cocktails made by Kleo and the all day entertainment from Van and Effie and little Nikos. This place is ok. The rooms are basic but it is a cheaper hotel. You have to pay 7 euro extra a day if you want Aircon but I guess at least it offered. Be aware you can't pay this on card and the same goes for drinks etc. All cash is what we were told. Because of this we didn't spend any money in the hotel as we used card for everything elsewhere. Great location but no air conditioning, great staff

We were a little nervous given the previous couple of reviews but had nothing to worry about. Check in was delayed but to be fair it meant we had a better room in the end. Room was spacious, had seemingly been recently refurbished, and it was well equipped with a brand new kettle in the kitchenette, hairdryer and iron. Room was cleaned regularly with clean towel and bedding during our 10 day stay....

The apartment is very basic, but it’s fine. Very good bathroom, with a good shower! Could be cleaner, but i’ve seen a lot worse. The bed was not very comfortable, but can be much worse. I asked for more pillows, cause they were small, this was no problem, i got them right away. It might be a good idea to bring an extension cord, because there are not much plugs. Also i missed a scissors, and a towel...

My family and I stayed here for a fortnight in August and it was just lovely. Nice basic apartment, lovely modern bathroom with a powerful shower and a nice balcony (Hot 🥵🥵) I think a toaster in the room would be a very welcome addition as would a TV. Just left the Sunshine studios after 10 nights bed and breakfast and had an excellent time. All the staff are friendly and helpful and always have time for a conversation. The rooms and grounds are kept clean and tidy. The only down point was going home .A big thank you to Kostas and his crew.

Very clean, kettle / hairdryer supplied, staff helpful and friendly , rooms cleaned twice a week. Outside entrance needs more lighting for night Also the road leading to apartments need more lighting ,with the pot holes very uneven, This was my 4th visit to apartments over the last 9years and Manos has kept it well

Great Apartments in central location. Very nice apartments in a good location for the main area and beach. Very clean with plenty of sunloungers and a pool. The people running it are excellent, best accommodation we have stayed in Stalis.

We just got home from 2 weeks at Sunshine apartments. Kostas, Manos and all the staff are so friendly, welcoming and helpful. We had a 1 bed apartment in the middle floor and it was lovely and clean. The maid came in every other day and changed the towels if we left them in a pile. We had 2 balconies, a smaller one off the lounge area with a clothes dryer on it and the larger balcony off the bedroom...

Central location off Beach Road. Minutes walk to all restaurants and bars. Apartments very clean. Friendly hosts.Food and drinks served all day , including breakfast at pool side bar. Scenic views and quiet. Recommend.

We gave just returned from a weeks stay at Skajado. We thought it was beautiful. Quiet, away from the busy area but still within 10 mins walk of bars and restaurants. Appt was spacious and cleaned every other day. Views of the sea/Stalida from the appt terrace are stunning. Nice communal areas to sit in the shade or sunbathe on the grass if you need a day off the beach. We had a night flight home and...

Amazing clean, tidy, quiet apartments. Secluded and well positioned for Seaview. Amazing facilities. Views amazing.

View was amazing rooms were great but not the best for traveling with small children

Property was beautiful, extremely clean, room services daily to clean bins, staff amazing, views and convenience to amenities amazing. Access to jetty into the sea so direct access to the sea, just stunning. So quiet and secluded, Seaview apartments and fully functional kitchen

Little piece of Scandi heaven Skajado was even more amazing than we expected. The water access is great from the jetty, snorkelling is lovely. The communal outdoor spaces are lovely and comfortable, amazing views. Great location, short walk to town but in a really quiet area. We got great cakes on arrival. Stunning views, wonderful beaches, and lovely town with plenty of shops, and good restaurants. Our apartment was excellent, views from both the kitchen and bedroom, along with large patios with lounge chairs and umbrella with panoramic views of the bay.
