Best Hotels in Stalis

We stayed at this hotel for the second year in a row. Great good hotel! Very varied food. Clean and quiet hotel, comfortable beds. There are many restaurants and souvenir shops near the hotel

Good located between chersonissos and malia. So it's a quite place and so you can relax. Take a taxi for 10 euro and you are in malia / chersonissos

Just got bk frm staying at the blue sea beach hotel with our friends. Fantastic holiday frm start to finish. The staff were Amazing couldn't do enough for you. They were all so friendly and made our stay so enjoyable

Anyone visiting this hotel will not be disappointed. Food good location excellent,Cocktails /drinks really good. Hopefully will be returning in a couple of yrs

When i booked this hotel it was because weve never been to Crete but id heard of Stalis so decided to try it and wasn’t disappointed, the only thing i would say is before you book check if your actually in hotel grounds or in the annexe, because if your in the annexe its about 100 yards up the road from the main hotel

Just excellent. We went here with our 1 year son, Big Baby. Nice aquapark and good view over sea. Also very nice food.

If we ate outside the hotel, The gentleman who worked at the entrance by the gate gave us some good options to choose from. I would def stay again and do recommend it

My daughter and I had such a good experience with this hotel. The staff was spot on and the food was wonderful. The view from my balcony was gorgeous

The hotel is good, the managers are fantastic with great attitude. There was a very lovely young girl at the entrance of the restaurant during breakfast - she was so lovely and welcoming

At the end of August, my wife and I organized a wedding in Crete. We accommodated all our guests in the Horizon hotel, which was a hit. The reception staff were very helpful, the cleaning team was thorough

The food optios are great and the food is always fresh, the chef is there to assist with allergies or food intolarences. Upon request early breakfast and lunch basket is available

Service was excellent and special mention to Kostas at La Strada and the drinks waitress (sorry I didn't get your name) at The Steak Restaurant

There was a lovely water channel outside our room and a water station nearby which was useful. The toiletries were very nice and we also had a free mini bar. The hotel is very clean and the grounds well maintained

Food was excellent and the a la carte restaurants were the best ones we've ever experienced in any all-inclusive hotels we've stayed in

The indoor pool was very cold and you had to wear shoes and dry yourself between being in the pool and going to the steam room etc. as well as having a shower in between also. It was very strict and not relaxed

The food was a very high quality and the cakes etc beautifully presented. The staff in the restaurant were very pleasant. There was a Dr there 6 days a week. We were less impressed with the Spa

We went with TUI and there was no welcome meeting. We spoke to some German representatives who were not that helpful or pleasant

There was a queue for checkin so the receptionist / porter told us to use the restaurant and come back when we had eaten, which was good, tea/coffee machines were working as well as wine/beer and soft drinks, limited food available, rolls, salad, ham and cheese

Second problem the room the family 2 girls and a boy (family 2 of them were adults) was allocated was a double bed and a bed settee we had asked for a family double room, 1am in the morning we told them to use the room and was assured the room would be changed in the morning - to give credit to the reception staff in the morning the room was changed, the night porter had said they family would be moved...

No kettle in the room, the porter told me tea and coffee was available 24/7, I don't know where as the tea / coffee machines in the restaurant were closed after breakfast if tea / coffee was required you had to go to one of the bars

No water given there is a fridge in the rooms, all inclusive water should be available. The reception team did give me a kettle and later cups to be able to have a cup of tea either in the morning or before bed

The pool bar near the childrens pool did not serve alcohol apart from beer and wine, if you are on holiday you would not leave children at the pool while going to the adults pool to get a drink

The information for the hotel said activities, I asked the guy who was in charge of this he seemed surprised, no water activities as the polo net had been broken but nothing put on instead

We had the best time there!! The resort is beautiful, the food was so nice and all the people were so nice and helpfull! The Pink Wave animation team was the best!! We had the best time with them and we did a lot of fun activities, Thank you very much to Nas, Lynn, Samuele, Gabriel, Lina and Alessia! We will definitely be back! Hiii! This May i went to the Cactus Beach Hotel in Stalis, Greece with two of my best friends

There are stairs, ramps and elevators, so it's also good to do for people with a walking disability. The food in the restaurant was actually very nice

Restaurants were also very clean and modern food was excellent plenty of choices. We used 2 of the ala carte restaurants during our stay great service from staff and again excellent food

Paradise for families with kids! Our vacation is still ongoing, probably will complete the review later. Service-best in Creete, really

The Spa, actually belonging to the Cactus Royal hotel but also on our terrain, was excellent, I had a massage from Anja, she was great! What really was lovely was that the people from Cactus beach knew so many languages

Watch out for two great guys who work there, Armando who does the sun loungers and Tonin one of the waiters really nice guy both have work here for a good few years now always lovely to see them

Predominantly the clientele were from mainland Europe which was great , it was like a holiday of old. It is effectively a community and such a good vibe from several bars shops and restaurants around it

We stayed at this hotel for a week and everything was great. The room was cleaned daily, the food was good, and the location was fantastic, right by the sea

We had a good stay! However, you have to pay for the sun loungers at the pool. The staff is very, very friendly, except for the head waiter

Unfortunately, one waiter (George) is quite unfriendly and does not treat the guests well. The hotel is very clean, and the food is good

They’re warm, welcoming, and genuinely care about the guests and each other. For example, the bartender at the beach pool-bar, @Arjan, greets the freelance massage lady on the beach if she’s had a good day

How sweet is that? And if something needs fixing, @Leonardo steps in to help. At reception, @Nicos and lobby bartender @Mario make evenings at the lobby bar unforgettable with great drinks and conversations

The food at the restaurant is tasty and varied, but the people make it even better. They greet you with a smile the moment you walk in. Back at the beach pool-bar, @Arjan deserves special recognition

No need for expensive taxis! The hotel is spread across several buildings, with most rooms offering side views of the sea

A particular highlight was the Saturday night barbecue , outdoor dining , very good singer & guitarist with everyone encouraged to attempt traditional Greek dancing , very funny & good fun allround Location is good as just a 3 min walk to main strip

Dinner was also good but we did dine out a few times in order to experience local restaurants

Sunbeds were very comfortable, pool fine ( there are 2 , one at each block ) Now the bar area , nice and sedate during the day but brought to life by Billy in the evening,a lively , humerous , loud and very entertaining brother of Michael

There is a pool side snack bar, and the food is equally as good. The sunbeds are the most comfortable we have ever seen. Also, an important feature is the steps and hand rail in the pool, especially if you are disabled

Just at the airport having spent 8 nights at the Filia. From start to finish we had a super stay. Michael was very welcoming and ensured we had a welcome drink which was a nice touch

Our bedroom was spacious, air-conditioning worked, good sized balcony, compact bathroom , bed was firm but not uncomfortable. Breakfast was fine and typical of a family run hotel

I arrived very early at 9:30am and was met by George the Manager, he said he had moved my room from the ground floor to the second floor for the view. He said I could check in there and then

Travelled from Cyprus to visit family who were staying in Stalis nearby

After some back and forth, we were offered the room with a sea view for €120 instead of the €400 surcharge, which was strange. The room, although small, was clean and functionally furnished

As we had booked the room without meals, I cannot say anything about breakfast or other services. Extra costs are €20 for the safe at reception, €8 per day for the air conditioning and €1

The service of the hotel should be good enough to provide comfort and care to the guests

The hotel was okay. The cooks were very nice and made really good dinners. There wasn't a huge selection of food, but what was available was very good. Nothing to complain about.

For example when the wind is strong and the waves arev so huge that lifeguards don't allow people to go into the sea (that happened to us during our holiday) than the pool is a good option

I love this place. We're here for 2 weeks holidays and we really enjoy everything. Is close to the beach and to restaurants. I love stalis, we will come buck definitely

Simple and vintage Greek style hotel with gorgeous Mountain View from the pool area. It was very quiet and respectful. The personnel was helpful and overall satisfying

Come and visit Paloma Corina Hotel. The room was spacious and comfortable. The staff were friendly and accommodating. Breakfast buffet was also impressive

Amazing time at this hotel, we were made to feel like family from the moment we checked in. Sandwich and fruit platter as we sat checking in, then a glass of fizz and some orange juice

Our room wasn’t quite ready so we went to the pool bar , Estella was friendly and looked after us every time we were at the bar, ( Zymon too who works the evening shift )

The Manager is also very hands on and will do anything to help if you have any queries. I mentioned I didn't think the hairdryer was very good in our room. the next day a new hairdryer arrived! Service exceptional ♡

What an absolute find this hotel was. We went fully inclusive the food was excellent the staff can't do enough for you they are a credit to the hotel

All in all Stalis is lovely with lots of bars and superb restaurants, but the hotel were I was adopted as Greek and called Mr Yiannis , we liked it so much we booked to stay next May while we were sat round the pool

We had an incredible visit, thanks in huge part to the amazing staff. They remembered dietary requirements, drink preferences, and I felt we really grew to knew them

The food is excellent, we ate lunch here on four occasion's and each time the food was amazing. Ronnie will reserve your beds on the beach, take orders for lunch whilst you sunbathe and call you when its ready

We arrived very late on the Sunday and were met by Peter who stayed up late to greet us, a nice touch indeed. This place is excellent in all ways , very well kept, very clean and very quiet

Breakfast is the best, you are seated first and offered jucies,coffee and teas,( I would recommend the smoothie delicious),then you can serve yourself to a high selection of Breakfast foods so much choice only downside was the sausages (not proper sausages more like mini hot dogs) I particularly loved the mini apple pastries (delicious) They have there own section of beach with there own sunbeds and...

The staff here are very welcoming and friendly. George, the manager, and his team took really good care of me and my family. Thank you! Unlike other posts, the pool wasn’t over booked and under utilized when I visited

A warm welcome on arrival, nice room, excellent food and a really good location. Our hosts were attentive and kept us amused (and George is good if your car has a flat battery!)

They have the sweetest hotel dog named Frodo who was super friendly and we wished we could take him home with us!🐶 We are the kind of people that like to eat somewhere different every day and try lots of places but on this holiday we found ourselves going back to the hotel to eat because the food was just that good! Everything we had to eat was perfect we loved every minute of our stay here

Stayed at Mastrlai apartments from the 2/6/23 to 16/6/23 . They was very clean beautiful apartments ,George and Christine was very helpful and friendly the food was excellent would definitely stay again.

We're old and would really have been better off on the ground floor, but that's our fault. This is a really good place to relax and a short walk from the shops

If anything is missing, you can always contact the hosts. The terrace with the private pool was especially wonderful. You can just sit with a cup of coffee, a book, a glass of wine and not want anything else in the world

We stayed at the suites for 10 days. The suite was big enough for 3 adults, it was clean and so quite. Supermarkt, bus and restaurants are within 5-10 min walking distance

We spent our vacation at this villa and every day we repeated that it was the best decision to stay here 🤩 Everything is clean, new, the pool and terrace are simply amazing, we spent most of our time there

It was the most amazing villa we have ever stayed in. What comes to mind first, are the hosts, the cleanliness and the simple elegance of the place. This place really doesn't have a single flaw

+ Apparently, Malia is known for being a ‘party town’ in summer time, but the houses are far enough away from the street with all the bars and clubs that they won’t bother you, I guess
