Skajado Cottages & Apartments in Stalis

We gave just returned from a weeks stay at Skajado. We thought it was beautiful. Quiet, away from the busy area but still within 10 mins walk of bars and restaurants. Appt was spacious and cleaned every other day. Views of the sea/Stalida from the appt terrace are stunning. Nice communal areas to sit in the shade or sunbathe on the grass if you need a day off the beach. We had a night flight home and were able to use the communal areas to sit and relax. Also had use of an outdoor shower and toilet cubicle. Only negative is that there is no secure luggage room to leave your cases until you leave for airport. Otherwise, a perfect place that we will definitely return to.

Skajado was even more amazing than we expected.
The water access is great from the jetty, snorkelling is lovely. The communal outdoor spaces are lovely and comfortable, amazing views. Great location, short walk to town but in a really quiet area. We got great cakes on arrival. We have a wonderful time and I'd love to go back again.

Nitpicks on the downside we seemed to get into trouble for using the BBQ so would be good so have some guidance about whether that is for guest use or not.
The day before departure we were asked to check out an hour early which we could not do. The cleaners knocked us out of the way as we were taking our bags out 5 minutes before check out time. A bit disconcerting, made us think we might leave something.
Probably could do with a few more bowls etc in the kitchen.

Stunning views, wonderful beaches, and lovely town with plenty of shops, and good restaurants. Our apartment was excellent, views from both the kitchen and bedroom, along with large patios with lounge chairs and umbrella with panoramic views of the bay.

We have just returned from a 2 week stay at the Skajado (apartment 14) and we were very impressed. The apartments and grounds themselves are simply stunning and located only a 10 min walk into the main town and only a few minutes away from a couple of great restaurants and a mini market. All apartments have beautiful sea views and they have rooms to suit everyone from couples to larger families. They maids come every 2 days and do a great job and our apartment was spotlessly clean. If you don't have your own terrace there are loungers in the grounds and a garden area that looks over the sea and bay of malia. The sea is 50m away and there is jetty into the ocean where we swam a few times every day. Depending on availability you can get a late check out which we were happy to get for 50 euros as our flight wasn't until 23.05 so having the room all day until our taxi turned up at 20.00 made our last more comfortable than normal. We will definitely return to the Skajado and i have already recommended it to friends and family.

The place is just breathtaking. The rooms have terraces overlooking the sea. The view is incredible. The cottage is quiet but you have a few restaurants within a 3 minute walk. I don't understand the negative comments. Thanks to the nice woman who runs this place. We will come back for sure!!!

The Skajado apartments in Stalis are really well designed with all of them facing the sea, most if not all have balconies, but there’s a lovely communal area for eating or just lounging around. The beach is a short stroll away from the apartments, with enough bars and restaurants to enjoy. A morning dip in the sea is a must as there’s a jetty just outside of the apartment. The apartments are clean and well maintained with all self catering equipment available. This year we are looking at another Greek Island for a holiday, but finding another Skajado Apartment is proving really difficult, we were definitely spoilt.

Great stay at this hotel! The staff is adorable and attentive to our needs! Set the mood. The all-inclusive formula is worth the cost! The food is good and varied. I highly recommend. Mario made us feel good 🤩
