Amazing 5 star Resort for couples who wants a romantic getaway. We went there in early November and had a nice experience with the Spa and Wellness Team: Wendy, Christina and Tina. We enjoyed 90 minutes Cretean massage and facials. Highly recommend to spend some extra bucks to get nice and relaxing time.

I booked the Solimar Ruby Hotel direct with Jet2 and I think the site is a bit misleading because this looks like 2 hotels on one site; the Solimar and the Ruby Royal. You can only book the solimar superior rooms on Jet2, not the Ruby. I can't comment on the Ruby or the other Solimar rooms but my Superior room was very basic, akin to a 3 ☆ hotel. We spent 5 nights here and didn't want to leave! The staff are so lovely and accommodating. The drinks and food are always available and are lovely. Amazing hotel! At first I was a bit worried about the bad weather but everything changed by my arrival! One of the most cleaned hotel with staff like family. One special mention for the tasty food and the kindness of the bar staff! Felt like home.

The stay at the hotel was very relaxing. The food is healthy and tasty. The staff is attentive and very friendly. Massages are also offered. I had a deep tissue massage with Sofia, which was excellent. Sofia carefully identified where my tension was and then massaged those areas very precisely. I would gladly come back again.

Sofia therapy massage is the best i ever had. She is very professional and kind and she recognises the pain/ problem immediately . You must make a reservation for her . I will thae her with me to my country

Lovely relaxing holiday with our 3 children. Beautiful views, clean rooms daily and clean swimming pool. Staff friendly, food nice. 10 euros in a taxi to go to strip where it is more lively. We loved the beach which is just at the back of our hotel. No complaints other than there was no evening entertainment but I am guessing it was because we went end of season. Hey we had a great time. My daughter has coeliac disease. So gluten free. The chefs and catering staff did so much fir her. Everyday they made her fresh food. I will come back next year. I miss so much. Cold here.

Lovely hotel to stay at. I enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere and it is not so crowed like the those bigger resort/hotels. The staff were very friendly and the service was always done with a smile. It is located a street back from the beach which adds to the intimacy of the place. If you like the quiet and chill out feeling when on holidays, then this is a hotel to consider on the top of your list.

FABULOUS family run boutique hotel right on the beach, 10min walk to the center of Malia. We had an amazing suite with sea view and whirlpool on our private terrace, coffee machine & fridge, modern & stylish design, very comfy beds & pillows (which is rare!) and blackout curtains. Unfortunately tonight we raised the fact that the chicken kebabs were not cooked properly and still pink inside. Disappointing that the tray wasn’t removed from the buffet to be cooked properly, we only received a sorry apology after an example was shown to the chef.

Great location, nice beach. The hotel is good but not great. The food in the restaurant is very low quality, the breakfast was always the same, the coffee machine is so slow. I've seen turtles moved faster that the waiter in the restaurant, one day we ask for beers and we were almost in the desert when the beers arrived. The room was clean and spacious.

It was my first time in Greece . And what a nice experience it was. The location of the hotel is ideal , with 2 private pools and steps away from the beach and Sea. Amazing food and great personnel. ( Tina & Maria & Cristina & Irina).🥰Highly recommend A+++

The hotel is a very nice place to stay if you are looking for a quiet place to sleep and relax, nice staff, clean rooms and good food. The staff were very polite and if you are respectful, you will earn respect. The hotel is close to the strip in a quiet area but is quite far from the beach. For its category, it is an excellent hotel.

Nice hotel, friendly owner... Great breakfast. Parking just In front of the hotel in public parking. Rooms clean, cleaned out every day. The pool is just perfect for an after beach relax or upon a windy day. Malia old town is a must and it is just 5min walking.

We loved to spend our holiday here. The staff was very kind and helpful. Especially Maria, she is lovely. Our room was clean, comfy. The food was varied, delicious. The beach is a 15min walk away. Little stores and bars was near. What we regretted is that the pool can be used until 7.30pm, and some drink in the bar only available between 9-11pm.

The location of the hotel is in a good part of the city, practically in the center. Bars are nearby, a shopping center is nearby and buses stop nearby. Absolutely loved this hotel, room was basic, but clean, only paid 35 euros to stay a whole extra day as our flight wasn't untill 2am the next day. All the staff were happy, friendly. Will definitely come back

Clean, comfortable rooms with basic but adequate self catering facilities. A very nice pool area with plenty of padded sun beds and a choice of sun or shade. Lovely solo holiday. Would recommend to any solo traveller. I have stayed there before with my late husband and children however children grown up , husband passed away.
