Veneto Sea View Apartments in Stalis

Me and my partner booked an apartment. From arriving our stay was sadly unpleasant. On arrival, we were taken to a ground floor apartment with an open porch. I spoke to George at reception and asked if we could pay for an upgrade, a room on the second floor with a balcony. George said he wanted us to be happy and would upgrade us free of charge 3 days later. Sadly when the date to move rooms came around we were told we couldn't move for another day and we would need to move back to another room on the last day. Despite our disappointment, we decided to go out for the day. When passing reception George began to tell us we should have made any room requests prior to arriving, we advised that's not what he told us on arrival, George said paying for a cleaner would be to costly to move us to a new room. The conversation become heated and George was very unpleasant and aggressive. After this, I was left in tears and left to feel unsafe to stay at the apartment. Sadly we booked with Love Holidays, who were no help in trying to resolve the matter. We were forced to leave to the hotel and book a new hotel for the remaining days of our holiday. From the experience we were left traumatised, stressed and unsafe. In addition, there were issues with the room, photos attached. Granted, the room was nicely decorated. However, the room was unclean, small and incomplete. We found a hole in our room which led to the foundations of the apartments. From requesting a new room, George and the rest of the staff were frosty and did not acknowledge our presence when passing the reception area. The air con was around 6 euros a day. The apartment had no pool.
