4 star hotels in Greece

My son and I recently stayed at Candia Hotel in Athens. We really enjoyed our stay. The rooms were nice, quiet and clean. The location was handy to the metro and the rooftop has a spectacular 360 degree view of Athens including the Parthenon. The service was polite, friendly and attentive, and the buffet breakfast was inexpensive and very good. I hope to stay there again next time I am in Athens.

Room is clean, 5mins walk from metro, however they only provide us 1 bottle of mineral water even though we stayed for 2 nights. We requested on the second day but the receptionist said had to pay extra, only 1 bottle no matter how many days u stay

Was at this hotel for one week and cant be more happy with my holiday. The location and scenery was amazing, the staff were very welcoming and polite from start to finish especially the reps (sabi and maja) who conducted the activities making them fun and inclusive to all. The food was very good as the chefs switched up the menu daily for a more appealing meal each day.

Travelled here over the bank holiday weekend. Initially weren't happy with the first floor room as there was limited view and we had booked a sea view. Even they confirm room for person in whilchair unfortunately all the room from ground Flor in real is family room.Al the person in whilchair was acomodate to the superior level .This are very bad in case of fire foh they it will be evacuated?The room is not prepared to entry to shower even in room the space is to smell. Lovely hotel, really well positioned for the beach and tavernas. Breakfast good choice. The only two things that let it down, was the view from the balcony of somebodies big knickers on a washing line everyday and the fact that maid left the clean sheets on the top of the bed for us to make up ourselves! All of the staff were very nice and everything was really clean. The food was DELICIOUS and there was always a lot to choose from. The only downside is the quite busy street right in front of the hotel that you have to cross to get to the beach, but it's not that big of a deal. The exterior environment was pretty good, but the hotel's interior facilities were rudimentary. On top of that, the hot water system in the room was broken, forcing me to use another room to shower. The staff, however, were very dedicated.

The Hotel was very good. We didn't look out and got a room without bathtub, as the normal room can have either that or a fancy shower. Watch out for that if you care. The hotel is in a great location in the city center, convenient for shopping and visiting museums. The sink is in the bedroom, and the bathroom contains both a toilet and shower. After showering, the entire bathroom floor was flooded. I suggest the hotel separate the shower and toilet areas with a full door.

Rooms are clean and have everything you need. The food is very nice but the price is even better. I still dream about the chocolate soufflé. If you want a great vacation definitely come here!

Here for the second time at the Marelen Hotel. Fabulous reception on arrival , beautiful rooms and wonderful aircon . Such a friendly vibe here and well kept. Breakfast is incredible . Beds and pillows are so comfy . Our favorite hotel in Kalamaki . Free taxi from airport was a nice touch . Would highly recommend!

The room decor was quite nice, with a fresh, modern feel, and it even came with a balcony. Upon arrival on the first day, complimentary water, tea, and coffee were provided. With a swimming pool and a gym available, you won't get bored even if you decide to stay on-site. The hotel breakfast was also pretty good. Hotel Marelen is absolutely amazing. The spaces are beautiful and very clean. I especially loved the adults-only pool, which also had a jacuzzi, perfect for relaxing. Beachfront property with 3 pools , restaurant with full all you can ask for, breakfast and comfortable rooms. Although we were here October swimmers were enjoying the facilities.

This was a great place to stay with great facilities, easy to access and opposite the beach. Staff were really friendly and helpful. A bit noisy from a nearby hotel complex with entertainments in the evening but did not spoil things. Our view to the beach was fabulous and the hotel staff levels were excellent and the cleaning team were really thorough.

We had a brilliant experience with nick the doctor on site which we greatly appreciated as me and a friend had a bad accident on the beach on which it near lead to a death experience, he helped and treated us to the best of his ability and he was so kind, courteous and helpful and without his help we don’t know what we would have done! We spent a great holiday week in this lovely hotel. The animator team was well above the expected, great games/fitness opportunities during the day and great shows in the evening. The hotel is very close to the beach and there are also some open air pools. The food was maybe not a 10 star but always fresh and delicious.
