Stayed here for a few days in July 2025. Big complex, great location right on the beach, numerous swimming pools, decent rooms. Compared to other entertainment teams we thought Gaia royals team lacked energy, charisma and personality. They were friendly enough however. Unfortunately guests will leave their towels out on the sunbeds overnight, thus reserving sunbeds for the duration of their stay...

Unsure what the negative reviews are about. It was super relaxing staying at this hotel. Staff were lovely, food was really nice. All inclusive drinks is spirits, wine and beer, cocktails not included. There is 3 pools which were kept nice. Entertainment at night was good, live music, games and a dance act on greek night. Beach is super close, the bar at the beach not included in all inclusive but...

A lot of time has passed since the hotel's much-vaunted renovation, and it was visible here and there in the room, ours still allowed us a pleasant and relaxing stay. The room (Family Superior 2 Bedrooms Side Sea View) was in one of the buildings very close to the beach and the terrace had a really beautiful view of the sea. Room was cleaned daily, including changing towels and also coffee and tea...

Gaia Royal is probably one of the best resorts we've stayed. Rooms cleaned daily so very clean. Mini zoo for kids and also mini golf, several kids play, tennis, football, basketball court, 3 very good pools with bars. Garden areas beautiful and balconies on apartment blocks very spacious and sheltered from sun. Gaia itself is a bit out of the way but there's very good buses that run from hotel reception...

In what kind of hotel you get bottle water? xD Those negative comments are funny. Lovely, family hotel. Very quiet. Bungalows, village, everyday cleaning, big rooms. Air conditioning. The whole place is very well organised, garden is marvellous, there are paths for babystrollers and plants and palms are amazing. All right...so about the Gaia Royal... To far away from the sea, the swimming pool are not very clean, so I think they don't filter the water. In the beginning of the resort (the kids swimming pool) there is a very bad smell( I don't know how people stay there). Good hotel for families with kids. It's a bit less than half an hour's walk to Syntagma Square, but it doesn't feel like a long trek. Novotel usually offers good value for money, which is why I often choose this chain when I travel to different European countries.

Breakfast was not bad …. Rooms were clean and pretty comfortable. Funny they provide drinking water as welcome drink and not on daily basis whereas they will replenish the mini bar daily for free. Location wise, not a great place but it is ok if you take Uber all the times. The souvenir shop at the hotel lobby was surprisingly not expensive.

Hotel is well located close to all major attractions in Athens. Lovely breakfast in morning and staff are welcoming and attentive. Unfortunately there is sewerage smell as soon as you come out of lifts and it’s present in some rooms as well.

A beautiful hotel a little tiny bit off the beaten path, but close enough to walk everywhere. And the views were spectacular. Make sure you spend time on the roof deck. It is gorgeous and the pool was just what I needed after a long day of traveling.

it was our first family holiday with our 1 year old. we had a really good time and our baby enjoyed it so much. We had a problem with a room and it was rectified immediately. The staff are amazing with children and are super friendly. We felt really at ease and safe.

The hotel is in a good location, 30 km from Heraklion, by the sea. The weather is still very good in mid-October, the sea is warm and the weather is no longer deadly hot but pleasantly warm. Lovely staff but an extremely dated hotel. The entrance and lobby area and main dining hall has no atmosphere and needs a major refurbishment. It’s a 3-4 star hotel at best. We had a pleasant stay. The room was fine although beds are quite uncomfortable/soft. The food was ok although it would be preferred if there was more vegetarian options (especially on the beach bar). “Spotless Hotel with Amazing Staff”? The hotel is spotless and very well looked after, inside and out. Spacious rooms with super comfortable beds, cleaned daily without asking. A large hotel with usual facilities. Room was fine, though shower needs improvement as it wets the bathroom floor. Good choice of breakfast items. We stayed for a week here recently and had a great time, great location with just short walk into town. Staff are friendly and happy to answer any questions. We had bed and breakfast only but this was more than enough. Plenty to choose from. Would stay here again

The stay at the hotel was very relaxing. The food is healthy and tasty. The staff is attentive and very friendly. Massages are also offered. I had a deep tissue massage with Sofia, which was excellent. Sofia carefully identified where my tension was and then massaged those areas very precisely. I would gladly come back again.

This is the second time I have stayed at this hotel. And it’s much nicer now it’s had a refurb in the public areas. Sadly the rooms were very basic but clean. Great welcome from the start. The location is set back back from the town it’s an easy walk in or a €20 ride.

We were looking for a quiet place to relax but also with a little buzz – and Majestic nailed it. Our room had perfect sound insulation, so we could nap mid-day while the pool area was lively. Drinks flowed all day, food was fresh, and we didn’t need to leave the hotel for anything because we had an all inclusive hotel. That’s a win.

We’ve stayed in Zante before, but Majestic really raised the bar. Everything from the spotless rooms to the endless food options was top-notch. The spa was amazing and worth every euro – I had the best massage of my life. Also, how often do you see a tattoo studio inside a hotel? Wild.

Very clean swimming pool and lots of space around. We liked the area behind of swimming pools were it was more quiet for couples. As or the rooms they were pretty clean and quiet with soundproofed walls.

The beds were really comfy, especially for my partner who has spinal issues. The staff were really lovely too, good breakfast selection with vegan choices.

Roughly located halfway between Rhodes town and the town of Lindos, made for a perfect base. Best to hire a car to get around, parking was easy and secure at the hotel. Excellent customer service I give the Elite city resort in Kalamata 10/10 for the customer service. A minor problem was resolved extremely quickly. The rooms are large, cleaned daily exceptionally well by Cleopatra and kettle/ iron available on request. The pool is amazing and the free beach opposite offers clear water and a lovely view. I would highly recommend.

Beware the "all inclusive" mention because we would not have considered our stay all included by any means. With a limited drink menu at the bar, and no not just for premium alcohols, things like a margarita or a mojito were excluded from our package. An absolutely relaxing experience! The atmosphere was peaceful, the staff was incredibly friendly (Full Body and Face Massage and Mask done by Pantelis), and everything was spotless.

The Crete massage here was 5*, very good and the physiotherapist was very well informed and provided a very good service at a reasonable price. Would highly recommend using the service, the person was Boso who was really good.

I had my massage with Maria and it was amazing I had the Cretan massage which is whole body and a face massage and it was very nice gentle and relaxing. Bosilka helpt me and my family to book everything and everyone is very friendly

Great stay. Excellent hotel in a very good area. Also very comfortable, spotlessly clean rooms, huge beds and comfortable mattresses. But by far the most important feature that makes the hotel unique is its staff. Wonderful smiling people, impeccable professionals and very polite and approachable. Well done to them.
