Very clean renovated room. Excellent location. Good breakfast. Room gets too hot without opening the window. Street is noicy in front. Highly recommended
Close to everthing. There are hiden attractions around the area.
The hotel is super central and very modern and clean. Unfortunately we got given a room at the back (311) and, as it was a weekend, it was extremely noisy till 3am. We asked to be moved but they had no other rooms available. The 3rd and 4th nights were actually ok as no weekend noise. The breakfast is continental but quite bland, usual croisssnt, donuts, jams and eggs and bacon but it was not warm...
Loft room has 2 bathrooms in 2 floors, very spacious! Good for family of 4
Absolutely exceeded expectations!… location great, breakfast great, room spacious and clean, personnel superb !…not a single complaint…
Good location near restaurants and bars. The staff was very friendly. A good place to stay.

Sensational breakfast, quiet and spacious room, everything spotless, great bathroom products, very friendly and helpful staff.
Very good place! The receptionists are great, very friendly, ready to help in all the situation. Glass of vine at your entrance - super nice) The breakfast is not as at big hotels, the selection is much lower, but the service and quality are really great. Will surely come back!
Though a renovated old building, the hotel's interior is superb, with every corner thoughtfully designed. The small balcony is a lovely spot for friends to relax and chat. Its location in the old town means all major attractions are within walking distance. Plus, the breakfast spread was very generous.
I won’t recommend. The blue hotel is not as described. It doesn’t worth the price at all
Limited breakfast selection but good quality Good service
Nice hotel in a very good location. All attractions are within walking distance. Omonia metro station is also only 3-5 minutes away. Nice little breakfast buffet with a good selection. Freshly squeezed orange juice and hot drinks to choose from

This is a nice hotel with a lot of character. The Veranda bar overlooks the ocean and has a very pleasant atmosphere. There is a beach across the street and a grocery store next door. I would definitely stay here again.
Very warm welcome. Thank you very much for this very pleasant stay.
The hotel is old, I changed several rooms, all except the rooms with a sea view have a stale smell of old age, breakfasts are like Groundhog Day every day, the same thing, they don't even change the omelette to fried eggs. The only plus is the first line and if the room has a sea view, the view is amazing, especially sunsets and sunrises
Excellent location, great sea view hotel, you can enjoy the view from the balcony. The hotel and facilities are old and the breakfast is average.
The address is very good. It's on the edge of the port and very close to the seaside. It's very comfortable to take a walk and drink coffee. You can see the life of the locals and stay away from the bustling urban area.
Loved this place. Old school place with great vibes. A family business with great people.

Nice rooms and great staff. Thank you to Nikos for the warm welcome! Nice lounge area with snacks all day and luggage storage. Superior room and junior suite (great balcony).
Nelli’s warm smile and attentiveness, the comfort of the hotel… We felt so relaxed and had such a wonderful time. Thank you so, so much
My husband and I stayed at the Periscope Hotel in Athens, Greece to celebrate our 40th anniversary and what a delight it was! Everyone from front desk to housekeeping to managment was extraordinarily wonderful - friendly, helpful, anxious to tell us about the city, make recommendations, reservations, or lend us a tablet to solve our cell phone problem the minute we checked in. Over the course of our...
The staff are very helpful, and the lobby is comfortable. It is good to have an around the clock hot drinks self-service bar. The room was clean, and the shower is nice and strong. Yet, some rooms on the lower floors are dark: they look into the interior of the building, where light is limited. Standard rooms are also small, and strangely designed: no side tables by the bed, instead a shelf slightly...
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5/5 We stayed at the Periscope Hotel in Athens, part of the Marriott Design Hotels Collection, and it was absolutely unforgettable. We booked the Penthouse Suite, and if you can, do the same — it’s one of the most breathtaking rooms in the city. The suite itself is beautiful — modern, comfortable, quiet, and full of natural light. The bed is incredibly comfortable, the shower is huge,...

great location at the beginning of the all the walkable things. pretty much walk in one direction everyday. we were in the jr suite, spacious fir 3 of us with really nice outdoor space!
This hotel was in the middle of everything and very walkable to the popular areas. The view or twas stunning
Very friendly staff, great location.

First some positives - staff were incredibly helpful and polite, amenities such as mini bar and robes were lovely, and the bed was very comfortable. The hotel is in a very central location, easy to walk to any of the sites and easy to get to by public transport. Hotel is very hard to find, it was pure luck that the concierge was outside smoking and asked us if we were looking for the hotel. The...
First of all it was an amazing location. Small walk to all of Athens best locations. The room was great. Loved the bathroom and the jacuzzi was fantastic and worked well which is rarely the case. It could be a little more private but we used it just fine. The spa was wonderful with very welcoming staff. At first we were a little disappointed we had to pay extra for the spa but actually it was a...
We loved the old-fashioned room decor and the convenience of near all tourist attractions. The Fresco room was spacious, and the hot tub at the balcony (bring bathing suit) was a plus after hours of long walks.
Restaurant connected to hotel with tons of drink options. The bar staff was verybfriendly and spoke great English.
The entrance is through the restaurant, makes it feel a bit less safe and we had some trouble figuring this out. Checkin/checkout otherwise was easy and straight forward. We had a great stay - the room was amazing, quite big for europe with high ceilings, they could have probably made the bathroom bigger by even just 1 foot on each side, would make a huge difference. Pretty weird though that I was...
Don’t trust! They had a room with a queen and a single but for some reason they wouldn’t let three of us stay in it. Three women that were going on a cruise the next day and only rented it for one night. We had to get a whole new room for the third person and that was just wrong!

Our room had a bad smell of sewage and was dark during day time since the room face an inner stairwell. The hotel was going through construction. The breakfast is very tasty but not buffet, by cart and after three days you want something else that’s not on the menu. The staff is very nice and professional. Overall a 3 in my opinion.
Fresh towels every day are so classy! The windows in our rooms were to a stairwell, not to outside, which was a little unusual. We kept the curtain pulled the whole time, so it did feel a little like a windowless dorm room. But the hotel is very nice, quiet, functional, and a great location walking distance to most attractions.
Enjoyed a fabulous stay at the Gem Society Hotel. Wonderful staff, nothing too much trouble (eg requested kettle and tea in the room) squeaky clean room and bathroom, funky functional design and delicious breakfast. Super comfy beds, great toiletries, absolutely quiet at night. One evening ate in Muse, the hotel’s bistro which was outstanding. This is a classy hotel in a fascinating neighborhood, all...
Excellent staff, very helpful with every aspect of the trip. Breakfast was amazing! Even if you don’t get a deal with breakfast included, it was fantastic. Room was clean and excellent water pressure and showering products. The only thing I would say is that there needs to be conditioner in the shower for hair! Temperature control in the room is good, and we didn’t hear any noise from near by rooms...
Overall the hotel itself is great. The problem is that they have a club next door, and the noise is intense. Every weekend night until 3:30am you hear the music and the bass is booming. The hotel itself is good. The staff is great, but the club next door is a giant problem.
The room was lovely and the beds were very comfortable. Staff was kind and helpful and the cafe had really tasty food. The location is right next to the Acropolis and all other major tourist attractions, which is really convenient. However, there is a night club right next to the hotel, and it's absolutely impossible to sleep when they're having a party, since the windows aren't soundproofed at all...

Our 4-day stay at Life Gallery Athens truly felt like living in luxury. The food was fantastic—special mention to the African chef who prepared the most amazing dish of black “forbidden” rice with salmon. The atmosphere was elevated even further by Mallios at the bar, whose friendliness and passion for his work really stood out. A wonderful experience that we would happily recommend.
This exceptional property is situated in one the most expensive and calm surroundings of Athens. So if you can afford to miss a walking visit to Acropolis (and a mess and dirt of a city center) - I highly recommend you to stay in Life Gallery Athens. Featuring very interesting design, a charming garden, and a very “instagramable” outdoor pool, this hotel makes you feel so comfortable. The restaurant...
We stayed for a week at the Life Gallery Hotel for some remote work and a wedding over the weekend. Since the arrival, we were shown the hotel and how it is a 5-star hotel, we were. Sadly since the first day, the service did not meet the expectations promised by the staff. Maybe it was due to the low season, but then again, the hotel did not go from 5 to 4 stars either. My stay at Alba Athens Hotel was excellent. The room was exceptionally spacious, air-conditioned, and very clean. It also had a safe and a fridge stocked with drinks. The bathroom was spotless, and the towels were replaced daily. The staff were extremely kind and helpful, and the breakfast was delicious. I highly recommend this hotel.
The hotel was fine, but is typical of many Athens hotels that have been converted cheaply and quickly. The lift was an old fashioned cage lift, while certain fittings in the room were cheap or poorly done (e.g. the bedroom door scraped against the floor and didn’t open fully). The bed was comfy enough, the shower had good water pressure and immediately got to a high temperature, and the staff were...
Clean and comfortable place. We had a good time at this hotel. The Hotel location is nice as it is within walking distance to Monastiraki square ( about 10 minutes).
Everything was amazing. The room perfect. Not too big not too small. Very affordable. A fun enjoyable walk to near by places like restaurants and shops. The breakfast was delicious. Would definitely come back to here again. Definitely will also recommend to anyone who comes to visit. The shuttle service was great. Driver was very nice and very informative of local areas.
The property is modern and the beds are comfortable, but it’s extremely noisy if your room faces the busy main road bring earplugs. The area feels a bit sketchy and dirty, especially when walking to Plaka or major sites, though it is well lit at night. A major issue: I saw the front desk turn off the lights on guests still eating breakfast at 10:25 AM, telling them it ends at 10:30. Instead of just...
