Reviews
Unfortunately the wasps and flies are out of control! You cant relax with a drink or food without being swarmed no matter where you are. You find yourself downing your drinks or quickly eating to avoid being stung! The bars are covered with them and they crawl all over the cups! They need to get rid of the drinks bins around the pool as the insects are attracted to the sugar!
The drinks are limited and all the same all day every day! The food is ok, same food served most days with one or two things changed, lots of options but find you eat the same things. My son is 4 and not a fussy eater but there is not much options for kids! Only one day out of 7 they served vegetables, most of the time it’s grilled tomatoes, mushrooms onions or peppers!
The deserts are the same every day.
The Greek restaurant looks lovely but serves the same food! The Italian food was so salty you couldn’t finish it. We ate out for one adult and one child with one drink each and no starter or desert cost me over 60 euros!
Highly recommend the burger bar the food tasted unreal!
The spa is lovely and the owner there is so funny! The pool bar staff are not talkative. The arcade is shocking- nothing works! Expensive for what you get. The teddies look used in the machines! The outdoor area you have to pay for the rides ect, paid for my son to go on flying elephants that did not fly. There is not enough staff so you end up having to wait until you can go on something and with an autistic child it was difficult but we understood end of season May be different.
The cats are lovely!!
The rooms are all different however when we arrived our room was not available for a few more days and we were not informed, we were given the most disgusting room with mould and there was 4 of us in a 1 bedroom apartment, it took for us to complain before they informed us we did not have a room! We paid for a duplex! They then offered us another room which was even smaller with wobbly glass balcony which was completely unsafe!
Thankfully the lovely manager offered us two apartments ground floor, but we still never got given our room we paid for.
The first two nights I had some kids banging on my door between the hours of 10pm-2am waking my son up! I was on my own and it was frightening in another country thinking someone’s breaking in! Other people also complained as they were stealing from the balcony and looking in rooms! we were informed it was staffs children staying at the complex!
They then started doing it to my parents door who were next door to me.
The rooms could do with a proper clean including the splash park.
The doors to the bathroom and toilet are frosted glass, no locks. Including in the restaurant and reception toilets! So you can see silhouette of people using the toilet and there’s quite large gaps around the door people can see in.
The restaurant toilet is downstairs and personally do not think it’s safe or appropriate for kids as anyone can walk in! You have to walk past the ladies to get to the men’s and there is no main door to the cubicles.
The high street was pretty dead. You literally are in the middle of nowhere.
The beach- not what I was expecting about 10 Sun loungers that you have to pay for and alot of rubbish left on the beach. No vibe at all! Just one restaurant. No shops near beach to buy any floats or bucket and spade!
Not a great experience but we made it the best we could. I think summer months would be better, had a few rainy days and there’s nothing to do. There’s also a dog that constantly barks at night and a rooster that will give you an early wake up call!!
The hotel animators also deserve praise – they know how to get both kids and adults to have fun. It really was a super time! 🎉
And one more lovely detail – the cats around the hotel were so friendly and loved spending the evenings with us 🐾✨
