Daniel Hotel in Tsilivi-Planos

I spent 7 nights with my sister at Daniel Hotel 7th - 14th September. It was my first visit & my sister’s 2nd however some of the other guests have been visiting for many years which says a lot about this family run hotel. Vicky, Gus, Fotini & the staff give you such a warm welcome. They obviously pride themselves on great service & go above & beyond to make your stay extra special & work tirelessly day in day out. The rooms were very clean & all in all great value for money. Vicky very kindly said that we could keep our room until we left at 7.30pm which was so very kind & an added bonus. Vicky & Gus’s hotel is in a beautiful quiet setting just over 0.5 mile walk to Kalamaki Road where there is an abundance of restaurants & bars. It’s a lovely walk past many Greek homes, farms & a lovely little church. There are many restaurants to choose from but a couple of my favourites were Ellie’s place, Bullhorn Steakhouse & Michaelos (not on Kalamki Rd but turn right out of the hotel and then right again rather than left). Michaelos is at the top of the road on the left. Breakfast at Daniel hotel was delicious & there was quite an extensive menu to choose from. We had pizza (to share as it was very large) on our last evening & it was very tasty. I wouldn’t hesitate to go back to Daniel Hotel & hope to in the very near future. A big thank you to Vicky, Gus & the team for helping make our holiday so special.

Been coming here for many years and are always welcomed with open arms! Vicky, Gus, Costas, Alti and Fotini, are amazing hosts and always go out of their way to make you feel welcome!!

We don't write many reviews, but this place really deserves one! This is the second time we've stayed at this hotel and we will absolutely be back again as soon as we can. The hotel facilities are basic, but we're everything we needed. The rooms are immaculate, cleaned every other day with fresh towels and bedding. The pool area is brilliant, with plenty of beds without the need to rush around at the break of dawn to our your towels down. The pool bar serves a great range of food most of the day, and plays some absolute bangers! What really made our stay here 5 star was the owners and their staff. Gus and Vicky are the most incredible hosts, and them and their staff are some of the most hard working people we've come across. Nothing is too much trouble and they will bend over backwards to help make you feel as welcome as you would in your own home. We've had a brilliant week here at the Daniel, and look forward to our next stay!

1. The toilet smelled like sewage.
2. The air conditioner in our room wouldn't turn off! We tried to ask the front desk for the remote, but they said they'd have to pay 10 euros. So, we were forced to use the AC all night. It was freezing cold. We covered ourselves with all the quilts, but still woke up cold in the morning.
If you're staying here, think carefully about whether you like AC and bring extra warm clothes.

Just got back after spending 11 days at the Daniel Hotel. Our second visit and was has good has the first, a lovely welcoming place, great owners and lovely staff, will definitely visit again.

A swimming pool is available and water is sold at a low price. Breakfast is delicious (there is also Greek yogurt, it seems to be homemade).
And it was nice that everyone was friendly. There's no elevator, but it's on the second floor, so they can carry all your luggage and there's plenty of hot water... It was comfortable. The location is close to the airport, and if you walk about 15 minutes, you'll find a bunch of restaurants. Be sure to eat souvlaki at Tazie's.
