Iakinthos Tsilivi Beach in Tsilivi-Planos

This is a great hotel. I have read other opinions, both positive and negative with complaints about literally everything. As in every hotel in the world, some staff is friendlier than others. There's food choices for everyone if you just look. The bars serve drinks that are not the best (so sweet and made with suryps not naturas) but you can always have a rather nice gin tonic, a plain rum or a decent whisky on the rocks. No choice for beers, white and rose wine is OK. Rooms are very nice, beds are fully OK but if I go back, I will bring my own pillow. =) Breakfast is great, lunch is good and dinner more than OK if you just look for what you like. Hotel is really ON the beach. Pools are great and the beach and water is wonderful. Zakynthos city 20 minutes with bus and walking distance to Tsilivi centre is like three minutes. We are fussy with stays like this but we can recommend this hotel, for anyone really.

Great location and good atmosphere. Staff very helpful. Room was a good size, toiletries provided, tea and coffee making facilities. Good value for money for the location. Hotel, dining and pool areas always clean. Little noise from people in the corridors coming and going but to be expected in a hotel. The balcony doors very good can’t hear the pool noise if having a siesta. Great holiday

It was an all inclusive hotel with no water in the rooms when we arrived, the manager was rude when it came down to ordering a taxi for 5 people he said we told him 4 people. Which was wrong! He was argumentative. The food was ok but repetitive, the room needs attention as some areas need repairing! There is noway this is all inclusive when you have to go and get your own bottled water from the shops! Will not be returning!

Great beachfront hotel with a perfect location!This is a wonderful hotel located right on the beach and just a few steps away from the town center, which is packed with plenty of restaurants, pubs, and shops.The food was great with a good variety, so everyone can easily find something they like. The rooms were kept very clean, and the staff members were incredibly helpful. A special thank you to Ms. Małgosia at the reception for her warmth, kindness, and beautiful smile!To all the chronic complainers out there: I suggest you go out and enjoy what this beautiful island has to offer instead of criticizing other people's hard work. Highly recommended!

We are so happy we chose this hotel we are in room 639. views are stunning overlooking the sea..service is in our opinion spot on.we will be returning to this hotel definitely next year..this is our 8th year in tsilivi..never had a bad experience.ts

Here atm and lovely hotel This is our third day and unfortunately there doesn’t seem to be any meat in the restaurant or even chicken It’s just vegetables and pasta so eating out now which is lovely but disappointing as the holiday cost us a lot of money

We are a family of two adults and three children. We stayed in two double rooms, one of which had an extra bed. The rooms were very fresh, clean and comfortable, and we had a balcony. When it was time to go home, we paid €20 for another room for one hour so that we could shower, as our flight was in the evening. Unfortunately, this room was not good at all! So I think the condition of the rooms probably varies. The pool area was great. The main pool gets deeper and deeper, which we really liked because the whole family could swim at the same time — for example, someone could be in the deeper part while someone else stayed in the shallow end. You could also sit in the pool and “sunbathe.” There was a small children’s pool, a jacuzzi and another pool overlooking the sea. Very nice. You can rent towels for €10 each and get your money back when you return them. However, if you leave your towel before 9:00 a.m., the staff will remove it and you will lose your deposit. We saw this happen at 8:50. On one occasion, another hotel guest even took our sunbeds and said there were no towels on them (even though there were). Luckily, he left when we pointed this out! 🤨 One thing worth mentioning is that the music around the pool was quite loud at times, which could be a little disturbing, especially if you were looking for a more peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. 🎶 The restaurant was nice, with a comfortable noise level, and for the most part it was pleasantly cool, except near the windows. The salad buffet was fantastic, and overall the food was good and varied. For a buffet, I was very satisfied! The desserts were delicious. The drinks were not very good, neither the soft drinks nor the “cocktails,” which were basically just spirits and soda. The snack bar was a little boring, but food was constantly being replenished, such as pizza, melon, sandwiches, fries, ice cream, some pastries and a few snacks. The location was fantastic because it was very close to the beach. The beach itself is narrow, but the sea is beautiful, with warm, clear water and a shallow shoreline. There are also water sports available. A sea turtle had laid eggs nearby, so we were lucky enough to see lots of tiny baby turtles. 🐢 You can walk along the beach towards the streets, which are full of restaurants and shops. There is a huge variety to choose from. There is also an arcade with inflatable bouncy attractions nearby, as well as a fantastic mini-golf course. There are also lots of excursions available to book along the streets, and these are cheaper than booking them online! Overall, we had a lovely holiday and really enjoyed our stay. There were a few things that could have been better, but all in all, we were very happy with our experience

the hotel itself is stunning, great location, but definitely not a 4 star. the drinks are not great, all the fizzy drinks are very syrup like and gross. the alcohol is not great either, beer was disgusting and watery. food is okay but not a good selection at all, no options for picky eaters or small children. the pool is beautiful but dangerous. we witnessed a woman cut her leg on the side of the pool and she had to go hospital as it was very deep. i saw multiple people including my boyfriend with cut feet from the pool. there’s also no life guards staff were very friendly however and we enjoyed talking to enemy. shoutout to hannah, klavs, jenson, and georgia for the entertainment they are all very great fun people who made our holiday better 🫶🏼

We are flying home tomorrow so I am writing this review fresh in my mind. We are a family of 5 consisting of 2 adults 3 children and we came with friend who are a family of 4 consisting of 2 adults 2 children. I will start with the positives, the hotel is generally clean and staff are friendly and helpful. The food is ok but very repetitive and not much selection so can get bored quite quickly so we have eaten out 4 times on a 10 day holiday to break it up. Breakfast seems to be the best meal of the day. The views of the beach are beautiful and you can sit in the bar and overlook the sea which is nice. The negative points are there is only 1 bar open at a time with only one member of staff serving, the drinks are not very nice they are all greek brands so the soft drinks just taste of carbonated water, and there is limited selection of drinks. You have to pay for pool towels even though it says they are included on the booking site also you can only change these every 3 days, everything closes at 23:00pm and they turn off all the lights so you cannot choose to stay up in the hotel, there are only around 150/200 sunbeds for over a 500 capacity hotel so it can be difficult to get a sunbed most days. You have to pay 20 euros daily for a sunbed on the beach. The entertainment in the hotel is poor and completely non existent on some days, you have to pay to use the hotel padel court at 20 euros per person per hour. For the first 3 days of our stay my room was not cleaned and my shower was only running cold, I had to go down 2 times to speak to a member of staff regarding this matter and my shower is still not hot. The cleaners only change your towels and bed sheets every 3 days too. The cleaning of the rooms is to a very low standard. I would say this hotel is more of a 3 star than a 4 star.

Stayed with a group of 6 and we thoroughly enjoyed our time here. We actually cannot understand the negative reviews and can only assume the people complaining are used to 5* luxury! The Hotel location is perfect - right on the beach with the resort at close hand (but far enough away to enjoy a peaceful night's sleep). We had 3 rooms between us which were all very comfortable and spacious, and were nipping clean - the maids came in daily to clean and change towels etc. The food was very good - we all enjoyed it - the Greek Gyros were particularly delicious - found nothing to complain about the food at all. We found all the staff to be polite, friendly and very hard working - maybe the complaints made about rude staff are more to do with the rude way in which some guests feel they can talk to them! Entertainment was minimal but it wasnt advertised to be anything more , we really enjoyed the Greek Night & Dancing. The only negative we found was there was not enough sunbeds to go round and you had to get down very early to secure a spot. Also we did have a problem one night with noise but this was caused by a group of other inconsiderate guests who were running up and down corridors shouting and screaming and banging doors in the early hours of the morning. A few of us came out of our rooms and told them off and they soon piped down. Not alot the staff can do about guests staying there who choose to be downright selfish. Honestly this is a great hotel and we all thoroughly enjoyed our stay here- go with an open mind and just ignore the whingers and whiners.
