Reviews
Problems encountered:
The accommodation was nothing like the photos shown at the time of booking. The room we were given was extremely small, with a window that couldn't be opened. Even with the window closed, there was no soundproofing whatsoever, making it impossible to sleep due to the constant noise from the town's main street.
Given the special occasion of our stay (wedding anniversary), which I mentioned when booking and reiterated at check-in, I requested a room change. To my great surprise, I was charged an additional €300 for this change, which I find unacceptable.
Attempts to resolve the issue:
After a sleepless night, I contacted Trip.com to cancel my reservation so I could find alternative accommodation. I was doubly disappointed by your categorical refusal and the complete lack of any solution offered by your customer service.
Forced to stay, we spent two additional nights in deplorable conditions. To top it all off, the breakfast service was also inadequate, with staff clearing our plates while we were still eating.
In conclusion: This experience completely ruined our wedding anniversary. The glaring difference between the advertised services and the reality, combined with your establishment's inflexibility, is unacceptable.
I wish to inform you that we will never return to your hotel and that we will not hesitate to share this negative experience with our friends and family and on review platforms.
I expect a response and a gesture of goodwill commensurate with the inconvenience suffered.
Sincerely,
