Very nice hotel, located well at the center, friends staff, rooms are very functional although they are small but very comfortable and shower is excellent breakfast is great the only thing missing is lobby, somewhere you can seat in public area. But for business excellent choice

We stayed for two night there over weekend and really enjoyed. It is a new fashion style hotel at the heart of the city. Room are indeed a bit on the small size but brand new with modern touch and nice bed. Staff was helpful. Breakfast was included and was very good with variety and quality. A great city style hotel and highly recommended.

A relatively new hotel and close to everything. The rooms are fine and equipped with everything. They upgraded our room without asking. The breakfast was excellent and surprising. If you’re tired and need a place to crash and crank up the AC and leave early it’s perfect for the price. You can walk everywhere … breakfast … no - they have a Nescafé auto machine for coffee no way Jose. Walk 20 feet out to the right get a real coffee and spinach pie. Well located and well priced but dated. Seems almost like a time travel but in a mixed way. Aesthetically it has a charm of a classic property but some of the facilities seemed to lack proper maintenance.

We stayed for one night, we chose a junior suite that was spacious and with a view of the city. As the hotel is in the city we did not have noise. We enjoyed our breakfast as there was a buffet and a la carte menu of eggs & pancakes.

Fantastic Property From the moment I checked in and throughout my stay, I received excellent service from every member of the staff. I hardly recommend the Excelsior, not only because of the great service, but because of its central location as well. It is close to everything, within walkable distance to all major destinations in Thessaloniki.

I was very happy with my room. The service was all very helpful and kind, the restaurant recommendations that they gave me truly improved my visit to Thessaloniki. The breakfast was good overall, but the coffee was quite bad (but there are very nice coffee shops around).

My partner and I stayed here for 2 nights. The staff were super friendly and patient. The breakfast was tasty with a decent variety of sweet and savory. Fresh and full of flavor. The hotel is very clean and staff very friendly and helpful. Our room, bed and bathroom were a bit snug but I chose a standard for 2 ppl, which is fine for 3 day stay. We had a small terrace which was nice. Breakfast is fresh and abundant. Location is perfect, just 5mins walk down to market and all restaurants in the city.

Nice clean room, professional and friendly staff. The only thing is you can’t get food delivered because they have a restaurant. I ordered room service the whole time I was here. The food is great but the menu is limited. If you have dietary restrictions this might not work. Otherwise, I would recommend it.

Nice hôtel. The only downside...there is no parking. You need to go and park your car in a car park and pay. The hotel does NOT offer Free Parking. That is the only downside. Other than that, it's a great hotel and the breakfast has a variety of choices.

The room in the remodeled hotel is rather small in size but quite clean. You can very easily walk to a few nice tourist places such as Roman Forum of Thessaloniki, Holy Church of S. Demetrius, Aristoteles Square.

This is a great buy in the middle of the busiest area in Thessaloniki. Astoria is located conveniently in the heart of Pasadena and close to entertainment, food, and many tourist attractions.

The rooms are very clean and spacious, as well as comfortable. The place is in the neighbourhood so the views aren’t great, but it’s close to the centre. The food is good, and the service as well. I’d totally recommend and I think it’s perfect for a short stay, especially if you’re on a longer trip across Greece or such, also great if you want to visit the city.

The service here was lovely from everyone we met. We had an executive triple room which was ok but quite small. Breakfast was very nice, but the hot food was not kept hot apart from the one containing pastries, the burners were not on either of the others on both mornings. Everything is mediocre, the pictures are misleading, rooms don't look like that. Breakfast is ok but the tables are not enough for a hotel that size. Hotel is located in the best possible neghborhood- beautiful Agios Dimitrios street. Groundfloor was completely renovated.
