Absolutely incredible. Best place i've stayed in in a long time. Made my first holiday alone with my friends that much better. Food at the pool bar is very well priced, the workers are very friendly although the security guard didn't appreciate us coming home at 6am and making loud noises. Lovely hotel. Clean and spacious rooms with decent bed (not the most comfy lounges for those with kids needing to sleep there but ok). The staff are lovely and hospitable, the restaurant staff in particular are friendly and welcoming. Great pool and beach too. Lots of parking so easy with a rental.

First time staying at Golden Bay, but me and my partner could not be happier. Great location very close to beaches and Malia strip, but also in a quiet area, so you can properly rest! honestly can't recommend this hotel enough. The staff, Petros, Adonis and Maria, are so friendly and would always happily help with anything we needed. It’s only a five minute walk from the main strip so perfect for girls/lads holidays. The bar at the hotel is also perfect to start the night out with. Will definitely be going back.

We had a very good time! The appartment was in a good location, close to the strip, beaches and markets. The room was good and the cleaner came and clean it almost everyday! And it had a nice balcony with a good view. The hotel workers (Petros, Maria and Lucy) was the most awesome people and welcoming. What a lovely place! We were there 2weeks with friends, not too far from the beach and the malia strip is pretty close too. the staff were super nice and we got food and drinks whenever we wanted, and the pool was allways nice and clean. Will be visiting next year for sure 10/10 #Petrosspecial

Had a nice holiday room was very clean not far from the town centre Marie was very nice and welcoming with us clubs and pubs are very near to you shops are near to you lovely food on hand very welcoming when you arrive

Just returned from Daneli’s after a week stay with family. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend. The accommodation and grounds were clean. My kids loved playing in the rear garden and pool. The food was good and reasonably priced. The location was good, close to shops and a 10 min walk from the beach. The best thing about Daneli’s was the staff. Everyone was so warm and welcoming and made our stay so memorable

Just returned from an Easter Break at Danelis Apartments - what a wonderful 2 weeks. Quiet area but close enough to Malia Old Town for the local restaurants. Apartments are clean and spacious and being family run you are not just a room number! A huge thank you to the whole Danelis family for their wonderful hospitality. We will definitely return again.

Enjoyable stay We had a very enjoyable stay at Sun Village for 2 weeks. The staff were very friendly, the rooms very clean and the hotel very quiet considering how central it is to Malia.

Ignore all the other reviews Our stay at Litsa was perfect. It was a few minute walk to Old Town and 10 min ish to midtown where night life is. The rooms were comfortable and fulfilled basic needs. You get what you paid for. The two hosts are amazing and kind to talk to.

I had a wonderful stay at Litsa Studios, the owners were extremely nice and everything was perfect!

The rooms are perfect (like in the pictures), the staff is super friendly and the location is also nice. No noise from the main street when door is closed. Good parking spot provided by owner and a nice pool.

Very nice seat reservation, a quiet pool, a great place and well-organized interior. Behind the wall there is a bar / club so you care what you care about. We got a room on the other side of the building and it was great.

This is a little gem, perfect location for old and new Malia, near plenty of tavernas, supermarkets and shops. Staff are amazing, helpful and made us feel at home. Rooms spacious and clean, pool lovely. I would book this again in a heartbeat and recommend to friends and family.

First time to Crete and Mellissa apartments was recommended to me. I have a fantastic holiday and mainly down to the family run apartment. Help kind and very embracing the hospitality was 5 Star. The location was perfect. I would highly recommend and definitely return.

Excellent place to stay. All the staff are excellent and very friendly. Special thanks to the Manager who put a fan in the second room as it was quite hot at night. Also the young French lady working at reception and the bar for being so welcoming on our arrival.

Such an amazing friendly family that run these apartments, George, Ingrid, Elias and Anna could not do enough for you. Not forgetting the lovely Christina on the bar during the day, her breakfast is a must. The pool is lovely and inviting with plenty of sunbeds on the terrace along with a pool table in the dining area at the rear of the bar.
