Danelis Studios and Apartments in Malia

Very close to the strip with awesome staff and a nice pool. Perfect for a lads holiday with the chance to relax in the day. Shout out to Nikos, great guy terrible at poker.

This review should be particularly helpful for a group of lads on a drinking holiday.
Upon arrival- greeted by Matt and Nico's who are both very friendly and helpful by telling us the do's and don'ts of malia and giving us free welcome shots.
Location - absolute gem, 5 minute walk from the strip and away from all of the madness. Also close to old town which is worth visiting for food. Beach is a hike however which takes around 15-20 minutes to walk. Thinking back I'd probably get a quad but I didn't due to the risks involved with stealing etc.
Rooms - rooms are near enough perfect for the price air con is solid however the safe is very not safe as they use a key rather than a code.
The pool - perfection, always near empty meaning you have the pool to yourself essentially, there is also a deep end of the pool to dive and that.
Food - do not eat food in danelis the sausages are terrible. Look at the top 10 trip advisor restaurants and go to all of them some excellent meals.
Cleaner - Keep all of your things tidy or she will bin them. Moody and very rude. Comes into the room when your sleeping then doesn't clean it, she came in one day shouted then slammed the door . She also binned a few towels of ours. Bed sheets were not changed the whole holiday.
Fines - we had no fines to pay for the holiday apart from the security guard who takes bribes for taking girls home.
Staff - Matt and Nico's very friendly however Ben is lazy, rude and unwilling to help in situations of need.
In conclusion danelis is the perfect spot for a lads holiday at an excellent price. If I was to return to malia I would 100% go back to danelis I hope this review aids your decision
