Hotels with sea view in Malia

I give only 4 stars because the beach had mountains of seaweed and wasnt cleaned even if the beach is private, so i used the swimming pools, which were pretty nice

Honestly the most beautiful and friendlist hotel i have ever been to. We arrived late in the evening not expecting to be able to eat anything but the restaurant had left us a meal with bread and fruit plate

It was hard to say goodbye yesterday. Always on the wall outside the main buffet restaurant and the bar outside with a bent ear. Have a great rest, roll on 2026!! Well done to all the staff, they all work incredibly hard

By the end of day one we were planning our next visit! Travelling with Crohn’s disease isn’t always easy, but Giannis and his staff were so incredibly helpful with food selections that they made our stay so very simple

Great resort, very relaxing, friendly and peaceful overall. The spa is great. Everyone is friendly and helpful. Overall is a great experience, this was my third time returning and would definitely come back.

It was an amazing stay! 3 days of relaxation in a small quite hotel! The daily buffet was really tasty but the highlight of this hotel is the nice behaviour of the staff!

The High Beach Resort is a very well-maintained and visually appealing hotel complex. We arrived on April 2nd, 2026, the official start of the season

According to locals, the day before the hotel opened, Crete experienced an unprecedented weather phenomenon – a Saharan sandstorm that left unmistakable traces and completely undid the extensive cleaning work carried out beforehand at the hotel complex

The hotel has really surprised us with its extremely warm hospitality and high level of the standards. The territory, rooms and the beach are clean and wery well maintained. The staff is absolutely friendly and useful

Had such a lovely and relaxing experience getting a full body massage with my misses, both of us left like new people, had to give a shout out to bibi , Pavlos, Maria.

We stayed for one week and we felt very good! All the staff was very polite and always smiling and ready to help. The rooms are very clean, the pool was nice even in october and the food was delicious and diverse.

We landed in Heraklion, to absolutely no wheelchairs at all, security told us to take a seat and they’d find us a chair, 30 mins later, still no chair so walked to baggage claim

Only a small amount of rooms so always space by the bar and pool. No sunbed races in the morning! Foods of a good variance in the restaurant each night with your stable chips option if nothing takes your fancy

The ruby royal area gets sun later in the day so if thats what you are after, get one of those rooms. All staff very welcoming and pleasant

The Cretan old town is only a 10 minute walk south, and the beach a 10 minute walk north

Crispy around the edges then placed on a hot plate. Similar with varying foods every time. This station should be cooking as requested. It takes 2 minutes to cook an egg. I'd much prefer to have it cooked for me

Stayed here twice bit pricey but well worth it, has a fantastic swimming pool and has easy access to the beach, also has sunbeds to hire

Very nice hotel, located between sea and main road of beautiful village of Stalida. One can walk along the road visiting cute shops and restaurants. We loved the location and the village very much

We stayed at this hotel in the penultimate week of the season so had the benefit of great weather at a quieter time

The hotel is located a good 30/45 min walk from the main hustle and bustle of Malia with very little nearby (although a nearby restaurant by the port and Eva Taverna are worth venturing out to, both only 10/15 min walk)

We loved the beach which is just at the back of our hotel. No complaints other than there was no evening entertainment but I am guessing it was because we went end of season

Hey we had a great time. My daughter has coeliac disease. So gluten free. The chefs and catering staff did so much fir her. Everyday they made her fresh food. I will come back next year. I miss so much. Cold here.

There is someone at the front desk 24/7, which made us feel safe. The gardens were full of flowers and trees — a small paradise. The pool was crystal clear, with an incredible pool bar

It was one of the best 10-day vacations we've ever had with my partner. The rooms were beautiful, the housekeeping staff came in every day, and everything was spotless

Breakfast had plenty of options, the coffee was excellent, and the service from the girls working there was amazing. They had an answer to all our questions and helped us a lot

Overall, all the rooms do need a little renovation, especially the bathrooms however, considering the prices, this hotel is good value for money and I recommend it. Mostly clean, with very few spots, dust, etc

Luckily, the staff was very friendly and helpful (family-run) and they moved us to another room, overlooking the pool. It was much better - modern beds and no noise at all

He let us stay in our room on our last day, even though the hotel had officially closed for the season. It was an 8hr wait from check out to our transfer to the airport

The staff at the hotel are amazing. Linzi was very helpful with advise of the area. Aris, the chef, obviously is very passionate about cooking. Everything was made fresh to order and the portion sizes were huge

Every morning George or Eleni knew what drinks we liked with our breakfast and after a day or two, our drinks were prepared for us without us asking. Yannis, the manager, was always friendly and helpful

It has the best of both as it is in a quiet area but is only a 10min walk away from the main *****, where the nightlife is lively and there are a vast number of cafes, bars and restaurants

We were even invited to the staff Halloween party (we were the only guests left on this night). This hotel was extremely clean. The kitchen was open and we saw it constantly being cleaned between each meal being prepared

For anyone that loves food you’re especially in for a treat (pun intended) the breakfast lunch and dinners are just incredible and great value for money as portion sizes are on the larger side! I cannot praise the service enough and will most definitely be coming back, missing everyone already!!

Great idea not to charge for air con as keeps the price low but there if you need it, makes perfect sense so you're not paying for something you might not need, especially out of season

Everything you need – restaurants, shops, and the sea – is right there. What made this stay truly special was how cared for we felt

It’s just a 3–5 minute walk to the beach, with a dedicated exit leading straight there, and even a shower next to that exit for rinsing off after swimming. Also, by that exit, there’s a children’s play area

I was pleasantly surprised by how close the shops were. As soon as you exit the hotel, there’s George’s Supermarket on the right-hand side, and on the left, a souvenir shop

Across the road, you’ll find another convenience store. Need a pharmacy? It’s just two right turns away – walk past George’s Supermarket, then turn right at the junction

For added convenience, you can rent vehicles (cars, ATVs, scooters, etc. ) right next to George’s Supermarket. The hotel also has its own parking area near the beach exit

The restaurant serves delicious food and suits everyone without costing too much. The bar area is very clean and has seating if you would like to have a conversation with the bartender

I stayed at Philoxenia Hotel with two family members for 12 nights in late September to mid-October, and to sum it up – it was excellent, from the area to the food

The location of the hotel is in a good part of the city, practically in the center. Bars are nearby, a shopping center is nearby and buses stop nearby. The road to the sea is quite straight, about 900 m

The hotel is a very nice place to stay if you are looking for a quiet place to sleep and relax, nice staff, clean rooms and good food. The staff were very polite and if you are respectful, you will earn respect

Location: close to the center of town, about 20 minutes walk to the beach, the same amount to the mountains. Lots of grocery and souvenir stores, restaurants and bars. Service: very nice, helpful, doing a great job

Parking just In front of the hotel in public parking. Rooms clean, cleaned out every day. The pool is just perfect for an after beach relax or upon a windy day. Malia old town is a must and it is just 5min walking

The hotel is close to the strip in a quiet area but is quite far from the beach. For its category, it is an excellent hotel

Perfectly located to explore the old town’s traditional Tavernas but only a 10 minute walk to the craziness of ‘the strip’ if that’s what you want. Iro and Stavros lead a lovely team to look after all of your needs

Absolutely loved this hotel, room was basic, but clean, only paid 35 euros to stay a whole extra day as our flight wasn't untill 2am the next day. All the staff were happy, friendly. Will definitely come back

Clean, comfortable rooms with basic but adequate self catering facilities. A very nice pool area with plenty of padded sun beds and a choice of sun or shade. A bar with reasonably priced drinks and good food

Pitty you have to pay for the Wi-Fi in the room and the air-conditioning that did bump my spending money up a bit however, life is too short not to enjoy yourself as you can’t take the money with you

Bella Elena is just perfect! This was my second stay and it was the best holiday I've ever had. We stayed in one of the ground floor apartments, which was spotlessly clean and very comfortable

His daughter and son were also very friendly. Kostas was so friendly to and chatted to us every evening. Food was freshly prepared every day and was so tasty and healthy. I would highly recommend staying

The old town is quite close with lots of tavernas, two shops near by and just a ten minute walk to the ***** with loads of great places to eat and drink especially one pub called Street with great hosts and lovely staff serving you

We have just come back from this hotel in Malia and what can I say fab hosts couldn’t do enough for us during our stay there, hotel is clean, tidy, great housekeeping, ate there a few times and food was great and plenty of it

We have travelled all over the world and the level of service here is unmatched. The owners obviously take a lot of pride in maintaining the accommodation and the grounds as everything is immaculate

Absolutely lovely place to stay, Manos and Kostas were brilliant and couldn’t do enough for everyone. We ended up eating in the hotel bar most evenings as the weather was rubbish for most of our stay

What an amazing place to holiday. Manos Costa and all the staff are so friendly nothing is to much trouble. A lot of returning guests, you arrive not knowing anybody but leave as friends

I had a really nice time here, rooms are clean and spacious. The bathroom was really modern. I had a view over the pool and the nice blue sea. The people that worked there are really nice and helpful

Had the best strawberry daiquiris we’ve had,the other cocktails were good too! The owners gave us some free crisps,I think it’s because we spent quite a few euros on cocktails 😂 A little bit of quiet music would enhance it though in our opinion

We visited for the day to use the sun loungers on the beach. Sun loungers were €12 for two plus parasol. Great quality loungers and luxurious thick and comfy mattresses. Quiet side of Malia beach and great spot

Didn’t stay at the apartments but used the cafe/bar and beach beds daily. Super comfy beds and great food with friendly staff. Thank you for the raki with honey which was delicious

I haven't stayed in a hotel but I've spent two very nice days on the beach. Sunbeds are for very reasonable price (normal 6€ per set, more comfy one 10€ per set)

This self catering hotel suited us perfectly as it had a great pool which was not busy and it was only a few steps down onto the sandy beach

The hotel is very nice and recommendable, not too big and a well-kept complex. The service is great, Maria Brazil and her colleagues are very friendly. A few minutes walk to the beach and the pool is fantastic too

There are no regular restaurants around the hotel that can meet the quality of food presented here! The employees are all so friendly and kind, giving you the best service and completing the whole holiday experience at the Kalypso hotel!!! We will return here again and can recommend it without any doubts…

The Kalypso in Malia - Crete is a little gem. The hotel is quietly located and the city center (party mile) can be reached in just a 15-minute walk

It was quiet and not too crowded at the end of the high season, a perfect time to relax and enjoy the sound of the waves. The breakfasts were quite good, but some of the dinner dishes were not very tasty

Nice small hotel with a clean comfortable rooms, a pool and restaurant both with sea view. It is located on the coast and has a nice sandy beach. Sunbeds by the pool were comfortable

Great location, friendly staff, private beach, best house wine and last, but not least, quiet and clean! Food also available, gyros is great! Rooms are not sound proof and sometimes you may hear the neighbors; also, in the mornings most likely shower water is not so warm, but it’s common for all accommodation sites in the area

This is my friends and mine second year staying here, and it’s great. The staff are lovely and so welcoming and are always approachable and talkative

We ate here most nights and for the price of the food it’s good, with options of Greek cuisine and more basic meals for those who aren’t adventurous

For the breakfast there is a many choices to eat, there is sweetness, salty, juices, cereals ect… In terms of proximity, there is a lot of restaurant near of the hotel, many nightclub, bars, tourism office to book an excursion, rental agencies to rent different type of vehicle as bike, scooter, quad, car

I usually don't write reviews so trust me when i say, we had the best time at Pasiphae hotel, rooms are very clean, food is delicious, especially dinner, they have a little pool where you can relax and swim or just enjoy on sun beds while having a couple of drinks, the place itself has perfect location because it's near the beach but also far enough from clubs so it's quiet and peaceful

The rooms were cleaned daily, the noise isolation was excellent, and everything we tried from the dinner menu was absolutely delicious. The Wi-Fi was impressively stable as well

The beach is just a 700-meter walk away, and there are plenty of markets and restaurants in the area. The bus stop is only a 3 minutes walk from the hotel. A perfect little oasis…we’re gonna definitely be coming back!

My room was at the back of the hotel yard and the night show was just behind trees next the hotel. Very good breakfast with many options. Pool was nice and nice sun loungers
