Best Hotels in Malia

This could have been handled differently and I would give the hotel 5 stars easily, because everything else was really good - The food, the general ambience and feeling in the hotel

Honestly the most beautiful and friendlist hotel i have ever been to. We arrived late in the evening not expecting to be able to eat anything but the restaurant had left us a meal with bread and fruit plate

The spa is very fun; they let you bargain as part of the daily deal, which is an experience in itself. However, the service there is also five-star. There is even tennis available. The tennis coach is a really cool guy

Wendy and Katerina were amazing ( now facebook friends) We will be back thats for sure, we didn't even go off site we were too happy wandering around, although i will miss my cat i called Bobbin

We made some wonderful German friends. My husband had 3 treatments in the spa, i had a lovely facial on friday

It was hard to say goodbye yesterday. Always on the wall outside the main buffet restaurant and the bar outside with a bent ear. Have a great rest, roll on 2026!! Well done to all the staff, they all work incredibly hard

Excellent place to stay . Food is great , location right on the beach and staff brilliant

Another thing is that although there are enough sun beds for every guest, unfortunately many choose to block the best located ones for themselves by sprinting each morning before breakfast, covering the sun beds with towels and using them much later

Other than the beach, the large pool is also a great place to chill (I think it was a good idea to remove the diving boards one can still see at some pictures). The resort is very calm and peaceful

I understand there are bugs and stuff outside which can get to the room sometimes but I believe the hotel should try to limit the chances by taking good care of the rooms

Even though this is mostly the cheeky guests' fault, I'd appreciate the hotel to prevent this from happening. Sandy, very clean, actually not very crowded compared to the other beaches nearby

Beautiful resort in a beautiful location, however, few things are missing to give it a full score. The hotel offers great views at the mountains on one side and the open sea on the other

The food was good the bevrages and alchol were local and not so tasty

Very very nice Personal. They are all very friendly and helpfull. The location and area is very nice and we have absoluter nothing to complain about. Also the food and Variation is of a high Standard and quality

Starting off the holliday, my experience was really good! The staff are very helpfull and also very nice. They always smile and show interest to the guests. I was there beginning september for one week

After two days, they give us a gift upgrade to the suite with own swimming pool. Also, the hotel is near the beach and pleasure beach. The entertainment in the evening was also nice

High Beach and High Beach White and they share the facilities. We had the opportunity to see both parts. The High Beach was more a family style kids friendly place and White was adults only, quiet relax place

It was most relaxing. Great food, great service, clean and very nice personel. We stayed for 5 nights and the only thing we regret is not staying longer

Watch out for two great guys who work there, Armando who does the sun loungers and Tonin one of the waiters really nice guy both have work here for a good few years now always lovely to see them

We stayed at this hotel for a week and everything was great. The room was cleaned daily, the food was good, and the location was fantastic, right by the sea

Fantastic pool area with very friendly staff and good food. Direct access to the beach from pool area as well. Breakfast was not of similar quality though. Also, the hotel coffee was undrinkable

We had a good stay! However, you have to pay for the sun loungers at the pool. The staff is very, very friendly, except for the head waiter

Unfortunately, one waiter (George) is quite unfriendly and does not treat the guests well. The hotel is very clean, and the food is good

Special thanks to Mairy the bar woman we met there, she was so fun to speak to, so interesting and kind person and made delicious drinks and the cocktails were the best we’ve had! We’re excited for our next visit now and I can’t recommend enough this amazing hotel! You need to go see and get the experience yourself to understand! It was one of the best 10-day vacations we've ever had with my partner. The rooms were beautiful, the housekeeping staff came in every day, and everything was spotless

Breakfast had plenty of options, the coffee was excellent, and the service from the girls working there was amazing. They had an answer to all our questions and helped us a lot

Overall, all the rooms do need a little renovation, especially the bathrooms however, considering the prices, this hotel is good value for money and I recommend it. Mostly clean, with very few spots, dust, etc

The hotel has a very nice pool area (2), excellent buffet style dining with food to suit all tastes and the seafront is a short walk (5mins) from the hotel

We spent 5 nights here and didn't want to leave! The staff are so lovely and accommodating. The drinks and food are always available and are lovely. The cleaners always do an amazing job and are super friendly

Excellent place to spend with family. There are some snacks and a lot of drinks on the bar. Every Monday the are organizing Greece life music. There is a nice Potamos beach, but need to drive about 5 min or walk 20 min

A peaceful, well-kept hotel with spotless rooms cleaned daily. The food is delicious and thoughtfully prepared, while the bar serves excellent cocktails. Service is warm and welcoming, making for a truly relaxing stay

Food was good, pools are nice and localization is quite good - not far away from the city center

What a beautiful resort and what a nice people. Especially Didi she is very friendly always joyful. She represent a very nice wellness. Also the staff in the wellness is very professional

The furnishings are modern and very clean. There are loungers available for each room on the beach. The two restaurants are well run and the food is delicious and varied

Additionally, Didi's professional approach in arranging a suitable time and space for our session was commendable. We highly recommend their services

It has the best of both as it is in a quiet area but is only a 10min walk away from the main *****, where the nightlife is lively and there are a vast number of cafes, bars and restaurants

The staff at the hotel are amazing. Linzi was very helpful with advise of the area. Aris, the chef, obviously is very passionate about cooking. Everything was made fresh to order and the portion sizes were huge

Every morning George or Eleni knew what drinks we liked with our breakfast and after a day or two, our drinks were prepared for us without us asking. Yannis, the manager, was always friendly and helpful

Beach is good but a bit of walk if you want the good one which is potamos beach. Shop very close which sells everything but spar down road. Location close to strip but not much around apart from that

This hotel has fabulous views of the mountains on one side. There are two swimming pools with plenty of sunbeds. Each bed has a thick mattress so they are very comfortable

It's a 15-20 minute walk to the beaches, and about the same distance to grocery stores, just in the other direction. The lack of sidewalks on the road was a problem for us since we were with children

The hotel is very nice and recommendable, not too big and a well-kept complex. The service is great, Maria Brazil and her colleagues are very friendly. A few minutes walk to the beach and the pool is fantastic too

Great idea not to charge for air con as keeps the price low but there if you need it, makes perfect sense so you're not paying for something you might not need, especially out of season

One of the best hotel in Malia! Breakfast is super! But the most delicious is the “Cretan corner”. Perfect cocktails near the pool

The location of the hotel is brilliant, everything was within walking distance, especially all the beaches, the Malia strip, there’s plenty of restaurants and cafes nearby, there’s also plenty of places to book excursions in too

Back in September 2024, we stayed in this hotel for our lads holiday, and it was a lovely, relaxing and atmospheric experience. Firstly, everything was absolutely fantastic, the buffet breakfast was delicious

We had a great 4 days at Dedalos hotel Malia. Great WELCOME Great POOL and facilities. Great ROOM with attached small bathroom and terrasse. Great FREE PARKING in front of the hotel Great friendly SERVICE

There are plenty of local buses which you can book with your excursions, depending on where you are going. We went off peak in September and it was relatively quiet and we enjoyed everything

Not only because the hotel is superbly maintained, the rooms are wonderful and the grounds are a little dream, but because the hotel has a good soul in Roger who is second to none! He knows the names and preferences of all his guests, always has a good tip and a funny saying ready

We stayed 12 days in Anesea hotel and it was the best choice we could make! The service, the food and cocktails are really good. Everything is clean and the staff is really nice

We had a very pleasant stay of one week at this place. The staff is nice and the service is good. We enjoyed the pool and the breakfast. The place is very well located and close to one of the nicest beaches

I stayed at Philoxenia Hotel with two family members for 12 nights in late September to mid-October, and to sum it up – it was excellent, from the area to the food

If you didn’t like something, there were always alternative options, so you’d never leave hungry. Dinner was also diverse, with plenty to choose from. You can also order food and drinks from the bar menu during your stay

It’s just a 3–5 minute walk to the beach, with a dedicated exit leading straight there, and even a shower next to that exit for rinsing off after swimming. Also, by that exit, there’s a children’s play area

You’ll also find fast-food options like McDonald’s at the nearby junction, and even a KFC-style place just a few minutes’ walk away. The check-in process couldn’t have been smoother

Perfectly located to explore the old town’s traditional Tavernas but only a 10 minute walk to the craziness of ‘the *****’ if that’s what you want. Iro and Stavros lead a lovely team to look after all of your needs

Absolutely loved this hotel, room was basic, but clean, only paid 35 euros to stay a whole extra day as our flight wasn't untill 2am the next day. All the staff were happy, friendly. Will definitely come back

Clean, comfortable rooms with basic but adequate self catering facilities. A very nice pool area with plenty of padded sun beds and a choice of sun or shade. A bar with reasonably priced drinks and good food

Bella Elena is just perfect! This was my second stay and it was the best holiday I've ever had. We stayed in one of the ground floor apartments, which was spotlessly clean and very comfortable

Quiet and peaceful location in the Old City of Malia area, yet there are a lot of the best restaurants near the hotel. Pool is clean and pretty big with sunbeds around it

We have just come back from this hotel in Malia and what can I say fab hosts couldn’t do enough for us during our stay there, hotel is clean, tidy, great housekeeping, ate there a few times and food was great and plenty of it

His daughter and son were also very friendly. Kostas was so friendly to and chatted to us every evening. Food was freshly prepared every day and was so tasty and healthy. I would highly recommend staying

What an amazing place to holiday. Manos Costa and all the staff are so friendly nothing is to much trouble. A lot of returning guests, you arrive not knowing anybody but leave as friends

Had a lovely holiday at the Real Palace. We were family with 2 teenage daughters aged 16 and 14. Pool was lovely nice size and warm. Manos was very welcoming when we arrived

This a good little hotel, not a tourist factory with thousands people. The team and management are very nice and provide good service. Swimming pool is very pleasant without any chemical products but very clean

But if you close the windows put a small amount of AC, you will pass a very good night. Maria the manager is adorable and she helped us on everything we asked for

The outdoor area with the pool is very nice. Good location and you can quickly walk to the beach and the party street. Rooms are OK but cleanliness could be a bit better

Cleaning of the room can be done each day including Sunday up to 2PM (except the check-out day), for our part, we requested only each 3 days. There is a lot of flowers, plants and a tall cactus

Had the best strawberry daiquiris we’ve had,the other cocktails were good too! The owners gave us some free crisps,I think it’s because we spent quite a few euros on cocktails 😂 A little bit of quiet music would enhance it though in our opinion

We visited for the day to use the sun loungers on the beach. Sun loungers were €12 for two plus parasol. Great quality loungers and luxurious thick and comfy mattresses. Quiet side of Malia beach and great spot

I had a really nice time here, rooms are clean and spacious. The bathroom was really modern. I had a view over the pool and the nice blue sea. The people that worked there are really nice and helpful

Didn’t stay at the apartments but used the cafe/bar and beach beds daily. Super comfy beds and great food with friendly staff. Thank you for the raki with honey which was delicious

I haven't stayed in a hotel but I've spent two very nice days on the beach. Sunbeds are for very reasonable price (normal 6€ per set, more comfy one 10€ per set)

This self catering hotel suited us perfectly as it had a great pool which was not busy and it was only a few steps down onto the sandy beach
