The Royal Senses Resort Crete, Curio Collection by Hilton in Panormos

It’s a pretty decent resort, but the overall feel is more tailored towards families with kids and less for romantic couples. Would recommend for families but couples seeking for a romantic time might want to look elsewhere.

Best buffet in the world!!! Truly we couldn’t stop eating haha . Our room was very nice. Lovely pools . Really kids and family friendly. The water park is amazing also for adults

We spent a week here - and really can't wait to go back. We arrived at night and were still greeted very warmly. Our room didn't have the best "sea view" but Evgenia and her team handled it very professionally. We were moved as quickly as possible. The quality of the rooms and style are just great. There is so much space around the pools to find a place to relax and the team from the pool bar and restaurants were really efficient and friendly. The location is great if you have a car. We drove all over and found it to be a great base. FOOD..... Wow. We didn't have one bad meal. Tried every restaurant and all were able to cater for my vegan/vegetarian diet. Nothing felt rushed or unfriendly, it was such a pleasure to meet the hotel team who are so happy in their roles. The gym looked beautiful, the cocktail menu exquisite, the golf buggy to the room - the zip line to the pools - what a great place. Perfect for couples, but safe and family friendly. We will be back.

My husband, daughter and I had a wonderful stay in August/September. The food was great. There were lots of pools and our room was lovely. I especially loved the kids club. Eva, Stella and another lady (sorry, I forgot her name) took wonderful care of my daughter. It was a very relaxing holiday :)

Property was visually beautiful. Lots of nice pools and great views. Breakfast buffet was good.
Service was lacking. We were switched into a different room “equivalent” than what was booked. Need to have a car rented or you will be stuck in the property.
Value for the money was not there.

We loved this hotel! We chose this hotel because of location, a little secluded but 20 minutes from Rethymno. It was nice to have the seclusion and quiet feel since we were on our honeymoon. Staff was wonderful, accommodations were wonderful. They sent us a bottle of champagne when they found out we were on our honeymoon. Only complaint was that our shower kept getting flooded and there was a drainage smell, but staff fixed it right away. Also, our pool light in our room was not getting fixed. The night staff didn't know too much about technical support, so we would have to wait until morning for things to get fixed. Absolutely loved our room setup, and how the bed was faced towards the window.
