Blue Sky Hotel Apts in Kato Gouves

We read reviews of the blue sky before we booked. Brillant place for a relaxing holiday, arrived 1st October to the 12th October 2025. You get dropped on the beach road, as the road is too small for a coach but this is not an issue. You have to pay for aircon, but not for safe. Room very spacious but basic, which is fine. Breakfast is continental, but ask and they will cook something for you eg full breakfast or omelette. Staff really lovely and very helpful and friendly. You can buy snacks at the bar till 4pm. Bar open all day till late at night

Lovely little complex with amazing staff. Niggles for me were the very basic rooms and only one towel and bedding change in a week.

Pool area was small and as a result, we ended up at the beach almost every day. Locationwise, couldnt be better, was 200m from the beach and restaurants.

Excellent no-frills location for a 10 night stay. I say no-frills but it was perfect 3 star accommodation - good sized rooms, comfy beds (and no sofa or camping beds, full mattress beds, a bonus when there are 4 in a room). Maria and her staff are brilliant, breakfasts were good quality and delivered really fast. The pool is small but appropriate to the hotel sized, never felt too crammed even with 9 or 10 kids in playing. Great location for wandering to the main strip of Kato Gouves, even better for the beach and shops, and just a 15 minute walk to the main road for the excellent but services to the likes of Heraklion, Agios Nikolaus and Hersonissos. The star of the show however is Savas who helped us check in late at night and was there from late afternoon every day - great to chat to, had a some superb local tips, really friendly and super useful knowledge and info. He's a star, but all the staff were terrific.

Had a lovely stay here in June. Maria and her staff are lovely. Rooms are basic but very clean. We had lovely breakfasts and the service was fab and I am sorry to say I have forgot the lady’s name who served us with meals and at the bar but she was lovely. Lovely pool and comfy sunbeds. Fab location for the beach and restaurants. Would definitely return here.

My son and I enjoyed our stay here and the choice of food at breakfast is good. It's very clean and there's always someone there if you've any questions. Family run which makes it very caring and the pool and bar area are excellent. Ideally located for shops, bars, food and beach ⛱️

The rooms are clean and well serviced. Only given 4 stars on the rooms because aircon is €8/night extra. Staff are excellent, the hotel is run efficiently by Maria and the breakfast was great, Fiona and Jack make a great team.
