Where to stay in Ioannina

Hotel is luxurious and in the right spot. No noise from the avenue and also free parking. Lobby is amazing and there was also a guy playing the piano. The room was clean and the bathroom full of Greek white marble. Breakfast was full of nice surprises and has an egg station. Price is above average but it's worh it!

Royal-style furniture and decor in the rooms, excellent service. The breakfast was diverse, tasty, high-quality food. The hotel is conveniently located 5 min walk to the center and to the lake, large yard with plenty of parking and a garden to relax. Great value for money.

Its clean and spacious- but disappointed in expectations verses experience. The air conditioning doesn't work well, it's cool enough to be somewhat comfortable but you don't have much control. Also some things show ware, like loose handles. On the other hand the have access to both kettle and espresso machine in your room for coffee or tea. Not the most comfortable beds. Hotel located a 15-minute walk from the old town and the lake. Friendly reception staff, unlike the breakfast staff. Parking. Despite having a wide variety of sweets, I found the breakfast poor for a 5* hotel, particularly regarding the fruit and the fact that the orange juice wasn't natural. Nice pool to relax after the trip.

The personnel in all posts are professionals and polite. It is noteworthy that the rooms are everyday cleaned up and arranged. Excellent food served during our stay in the hotel.

Excellent hotel located near the lake and about 1 Km from the center of Ioannina Very cosy and warm rooms and impressive breakfast with a big variety of traditional foods in excellent quality. The hotel was nice. We only stayed for one night so did not have an opportunity to try the spa (as reservation is needed). The team at reception and restaurant was very polite and friendly. The biggest compliment goes to them for taking care of everyone. I was missing some chairs and little table in the balcony so we could enjoy the lights outdoors. Well and the bathroom needs an upgrade really....

This hotel proved to be a highlight of our trip. Great value for money and in an amazing setting. Everything was very clean both inside and out. The staff were super helpful and friendly both in reception and in the restaurants for dinner and breakfast. Epirus Palace Hotel was great! The breakfast was really delicious and Cisse the cook was super kind to take care of us. He offered to fill up my water bottle, and provided very kind service. The rooms were very comfy and the beds were perfect. The bathrooms were fancy though our shower door was a little messed up. Either way, Epirus Palace Hotel was a great place to stay at!

Been there twice so far and can't wait to come back! The first time I chose Frontzu Politeia was due to its proximity to the Theatre of the Society for Epirotic Studies (also known as Theatre Frontzu). Nice place. Small, cute but as well as cold. In the rainy days there is really cold and you can't stay with a thin-jacket. Perhaps, it may about climate conditions. Lastly, employees doesn't smile, they was looking as if doesn't want us.

Cozy outside the center of Ioannina Clean room, although there was a lot of furniture packed in there. Mattress was a little worn down and soft, but it was comfortable and I slept well since it was a very quiet location. Close to the city center and getting to the sights of Ioannina was very easy. The small breakfast had nice offerings and was a nice way to start the day.

We had to travel from New Zealand to Ioannina as my father was in Corfu by himself and had been flown to the Ioannina University Hospital after a serious heart attack. Nice rooms, although a bit old. The double rooms have a great big balcony. The quadruple room is not huge but fits 4 kids (low ceiling as it's basically the attic floor). Breakfast is simple but decent. Pool is very nice addition, the kids loved it. Receptionist (Georgina) is very very kind and attentive for any request. Big supermarket (My Market) just next door so it's very convenient.

Very Nice hotel right outside Ioannina with private parking and a nice swimming pool... Ideal if you want to visit Metsovo Meteora and Ioannina. Not a 4 star spa hotel. No insulation. Next room when they were booking in were so loud I had to go out to the hallway to inform them. They were polite and tried to remain quiet. An amazing apartment, very clean, great views, quiet location , comfortable atmosphere and very modern design and decor. The apartment is situated near our points of interest and there even was a supermarket and bakery coming out of the apartment which was really useful. I arrived at the Hotel a little late but Alex, the receptionist, was very helpful and kind to me. He got me checked in quickly and showed me to my room. He even offered to help me with my bags. I had a room reserved for two nights but my flight in Athens was delayed, so only stayed one night November 2024. My room was on the third floor with a great view of the lake and mountains. Loft room furniture not positioned pratically. Bed under roof window making it hotter and uncomfortable during 38 degree days. Air con not cooling enough. However nice and clean and staff lovely.

The room was comfortable but we could hear the noise from the people walking in the corridor. Our room was labelled lake view which may be true in winter where trees do not have leaves but not in summer. There is a parking in the hotel. The reception is only open until 4pm, so we had to call to get the pin to check in and access our room.

This is a great boutique hotel in a quiet location near many restaurants around the lake. The rooms are modern and clean and a basic breakfast is included. Can recommend this hotel for good value in a relaxed and central location to most areas of interest.

The worst freddo espresso I've ever had. The environment is nice but some of the staff are a little rude (especially one waiter who brought the wrong order and the lady at the entrance).

Very quiet place outside the city. Nice modern hotel, beautiful court nearby, well kept grass. Comfortable rooms, nice small veranda with table and chairs. Everything was great except no ramp at entrance to wheel suitcases in and the bathtub was deep and narrow making it difficult for guests with mobility problems to shower in.
