Area a bit dodgy but safe overall. Photos were not accurate and room not as clean as expected. Breakfast was decent and fresh enough. Price was slightly higher than expected for the room we had. All staff members were very pleasant, nice, polite and helpful!

Set in the historic part of Ioannina, this hotel is clean and comfortable. Easy walking access to the lake and popular eating areas. The streets surrounding are local and look a bit run down, but the people are warm and friendly. Found a couple of good coffee bars and some bakeries tucked away in the side streets.

We booked 4 nights as a family of 4. The rooms do not look the same as the photos show, and the bathroom was in horrible condition. Doors were creeking and had holes, shower was bad and we could hear everyone from there across the other rooms. Also my single bed had planks below the mattress and we're broken. I couldn't sleep there. Breakfast was the same everyday nothing special. Just a hotel to sleep overall. Wouldn't recommend for more than 1 night. Parking lot was included in the price but barely had any space left to park my car also. Really really disappointed in every aspect of the hotel. Just sleep and leave.

We asked for a double bed, instead we got 3 single beds inside the room, two of them connected with a little gap in between. Room was nicely decorated like old Victorian style, but the furniture had been rearranged in such away to accomodate the third bed, that made it a bit hard to move around especially on the one side of the bed that was closer to the windows.

Base of the toilet was leaking and the faucet in the sink was loose.

Wifi was not available in our room. The hotel has two parts, the new and the old. Our room was located in the old part of the hotel, which was nice on one hand but had no heating on the hallways and the wifi signal was not strong enough to reach that part of the hotel.

The hotel was also located much further than 600 meters as stated on Booking, from the historic center of Ioannina.

Room was clean, warm and very nicely decorated like Victorian style.

We stayed here for one night and the hotel was a very positive surprise. The room was in good shape, everything was clean. The balcony had a nice view to the nearby park. The whole hotel looks very well designed. Don’t expect a new building. It’s more a classic hotel with mid century / modernist design features. It would be a shame to renew it completely since it‘s a design piece in my opinion.

The receptionist is also working during nighttime which was very much appreciated by us because we arrived late.

I would definitely stay here again. I can definitely recommend it, despite the sometimes not do good reviews here. I believe some had diffraction expectations. But if you’re more interested in a neat but not new hotel with some character then you will be very happy here.

The best hotel to visit if you want something magical and very clean.
Is a magical place that you can walk into and the people is very very friendly with everybody that goes there.
Also the rooms is extremely clean.
The breakfast is very big and good.
I will go again for sure in my next trip there and I recommended go everyone.

A central hotel with two kinds of rooms. The old ones which are typical 3 star room and the new ones which are...excellent...!
