Friendly staff, spacious and comfortable room, good breakfast.

Very comfortable room very clean. Small space but good enough. AC ad fridge in room. Good location within walking distance to the town and is right beside supermarket. There is free street parking close just had to drive around to find it. We didnt get the breakfast so cannot comment. Only stayed for one night, good price and good spot for a night.

Access was very convenient when arriving from the North. The neighbourhood felt a bit dodgy, but it turned out to be great and within a few minutes walk of the city center and great food. The staff were helpful in all ways and provided excellent suggestions for eating options.

This hotel, dating back to the 17th century, is indeed old. The rooms have very high ceilings and a small balcony facing the sea. The most bizarre thing is that they only provide blankets, not quilts. Perhaps it's because it's summer. The bathroom is very old and has a small bathtub. The cleanliness is so-so; there was a layer of dust on the telephone, suggesting other areas weren't very clean either...

The cafe off of this hotel is beautiful! Lovely atmosphere and beautiful seating and style. Full bar and coffee stand with friendly staff.

The experience of staying within walls is something else. Monemvasia has managed to capture and maintain the feel of an ancient fortification while giving one the comforts of modern civilization (indoor plumbing!) This is a one of a kind stay! If you are visiting monemvasia, you should be sure to stay on the island inside the fortress. We loved our time here! Great hiking up to the church on top of the hill, beautiful views, such a unique little community. We loved our stay!

I visited with my mother and grandmother. The room was a perfect size for three adults. Room service was nice with fresh towels each day. The employees were friendly, made excellent breakfasts, and provided good recommendations for places to go in town. The location is walking distance from the old town. We went to Monemvasia for the New Year as a group celebrating a birthday. It was truly magical, the staff were all friendly and super helpful, the location is stunning and the atmosphere is like something out of a fairy tale. Our room was perfect for our requirements and we thought it was very good value.

This is my favourite hotel in the whole world. The rooms are spacious, beautifully and charmingly decorated and furnished, with great attention to detail. Everything is very clean, and everything works. The breakfast is amazing, and all the staff are lovely.

A free car park is available approximately 1k away & a bus service runs to the gates every half an hour on the hour, costing €1.50. This was a very nice hotel, located in the historic district and walking distance to everything. Our family of six had three different rooms. All had queen sized beds, well equipped bathrooms, and different sized sitting areas. The rooms were clean and comfortable, with nice views too. Breakfast buffet in the morning had a nice assortment of options/air conditioning. The rate we paid was fine.

The Grand Sarai is the perfect choice if you're looking for something special. The room was fabulous, it was spacious and stylish and very comfortable. The moment we walked into our beautiful room on the ground floor, we felt at home! The hostess is very kind and took the time to make sure we understood how to manage the lights and hot water switches. The location is excellent - right on the edge of a small green space next to the fortress wall, overlooking the sea. We only wish we could have spent more time in there to enjoy our room!

Shower had corrosion. Room faced an internal patio, sadly used by smokers, so the smell enters the room. Water fro faucet undrinkable - salty... Breakfast staff did no allow to fill our water bottles with the drinkable water served. Reception didn't seem surprised.

The hotel is on the other side of Nafplio away from the center and water front. The hotel is old and has a weird smell. It needs to be renovated. There are no amenities at the hotel and parking is difficult to find. Our kids tried the free breakfast and they didn’t care for it. The beds were not comfortable at all. Nice hotel with a central location in Nafplio. The hospitality is excellent and friendly and on request they even made us find espresso coffee for breakfast which is typically Greek. The general maintenance is a weak point, so much so that we requested a room change, which was granted.

The general design of the hotel deserves a major refresh, large carpets, dark room and fairly uncomfortable mattresses. Lunch there is not worth it, try in a cafe in town instead. Good location though, and everything was pretty clean (although a cockroach was wandering around in the bathroom).

Travelled with Neilson to Buca with two > 15 year old children. Very enjoyable holiday. Rooms are a bit small but you don’t spend much time in it. Went cycling, sailing, played pickleball and tennis. Food is good. A little disappointed to find out there is a 15% climate levy per room at checkout.
