The staff was very accommodating when arriving, I’m very sorry I forgot the gentlemen's name. The bed was absolutely what was needed after long flights. Great location.

Our experience was okay. The main thing we didn’t like was how loud it was in the evening. If you want to have an early night, this hotel is not the right choice for you. Even with the windows shut, you can still hear the music from the restobars downstairs. The rooms are also a lot more battered than the online photos show. The breakfast was average. The team at breakfast was very positive and smiling...

Breakfast was very good and staff were nice and helpful, especially Zoey. Room was nice, clean and had everything to make the guests comfortable including iron, ironing board, scale, bathrobes etc. Highly recommended.

Beautiful hotel which is perfectly placed for exploring Rhodes Town. Reception staff were so helpful and pleasant.

Excellent apart from the uncontrollable bathroom radiator. Dried the towels fast, but Net Zero not in sight. Everything else was great and Marios at Reception was extremely helpful.

We really enjoyed our stay at Petrino. Nikos and Bler were warm, welcoming and very helpful throughout our stay. We liked the historic ambiance that was appropriate for the historic Old Rhodes town area. Easy walk to all shops and restaurants.

We absolutely loved our stay at Petrino hotel, Blair was the best housekeeper you could ask for. The breakfast and hospitality were outstanding and made our trip much more special. Nice location, 15-20 minutes from the old town, but lively with plenty of dining and drinking options – yet down a quiet alley. We go to Marianna Palace every year as a couple. We absolutly love it. A good mix of ages and nationalities, we fnd the service excellent and a great base for us in a quiet town. i always reccomend it and return every time we come to rhodes.

After reading some poor reviews I was skeptical about our holiday to this hotel but from our experience there was nothing poor about it!! I was in this hotel in June. it's a great place as a base to get to know the island. It is quiet, the rooms are clean, no animation. The food is tasty although the choice is not great. We were here for the second time last year. This time with our adult son. Upon arrival, we were informed that due to the full hotel, we would be accommodated in alternative accommodation. We stayed here in September, yes it is a basic hotel but it was such a lovely stay. The hotel owners couldn’t have been any more accommodating and welcoming, the bar staff are also very nice people. Very good budget-friendly hotel! Room was basic but had everything you need, only minus point was the shower that was very small and the curtain didn’t stop the overflowing and the bathroom got all wet. We really enjoyed our stay in late April. The pool isn't heated, but our kids enjoyed it nonetheless. Plenty of sun beds too, and with its courtyard filled with Orange trees it's a really cozy location. Of course Ialysos isn't a prime area, but there are plenty of decent restaurants in the area and you can easily take a bus for 3 euros per adult to Rhodos Town. Greek family and if you need something they help you! Everything is clean. The rooms are basic but good. And nice balcony's. Kitchen in the room and you can make your coffee. We really enjoyed our stay at Helga's Paradise! The gardens are beautifully maintained, the rooms are simple but very clean, and cleaned daily. We particularly enjoyed the family atmosphere – you immediately feel welcome. The breakfast is plentiful and offers something for everyone. Wi-Fi is only available at reception, and TVs are deliberately not available in the rooms – perfect for truly unwinding...

Lovely, simple, accommodation at a great price. Rooms, shower, AC are all just fine, pool is great as it's deep enough to dive in. Bar prices are excellent also.

An oasis to feel good in. We were put up here after a booking was made incorrectly. We don't regret it. We felt very comfortable here. If you want to quickly unwind, you should come here. As cat lovers, we were also cuddled by the cats that have been taken in here. Lovely evenings with great conversations and regular guests round off the whole thing.

We stayed for 10 nights. Friendly staff and clean spacious basic apartment, with regular housekeeping. As a couple we had a lovely relaxing holiday. A stoney beach and excellent restaurants close by. Supermarket and bakery nearby too .

I stayed here on 2 different occasions and I really enjoyed my stay. The rooms are great, and I enjoyed the food selection which was different every day. The manager and staff are very nice and friendly, especially the bartender at the main bar Sophia. The best hotel on Rhodes! That was how it was described to us on the coach from the airport in 1982 and it still is. My mum and Dad visited once or twice a year for years and the family that owns The hotel as well as the families that own the Old House and Flora's on either side remain great friends to this day

Very romantic place where you can taste greece meals and calm down and relax

A nice place to spend 10 days but with quite a few things to improve. There was some issues with the initially allocated room but that was sorted immediately, thank god. Super nice hotel run by a family. The owner was friendly, like all the other workers. We usually ate the lunch at the pool and it was delicious. Specially the Greek salad, tsatsiki and gyros. We also ate dinner at the hotel and it was also delicious. Pistachio baklava was like a piece of art.

Excellent value hotel with great staff in a great location. Just had food at the restaurant and it was amazing, absolutely 5 star all the way. I doubt you find better on Rhodos. Genuinely an excellent venue and stay. Thank you Poppi and team 😎

Stayed here for a week and for a 2 star hotel it was great, nice room , great pool area, the hotels restaurant served fantastic food. The only criticism is the same as other people have mentioned is the breakfast, it was adequate but would be better if they had just a little more variety. But overall it was great value for money and Christina the receptionist was wonderful and very helpful.

Fabulous. A little gem. Very friendly and most welcoming family owned hotel. Poppy makes you feel right at home. Very clean rooms and the food in the restaurant is amazing. Will definitely recommend and we would return without hesitation.

The hotel is good and reasonable for the money you spend on it. It’s in the middle of nowhere, but the advantage is that you need to walk only 10 mins to the center of the village, where you find tavernas and bars. It’s also within a 5 mins walkable distance from the seaside. The breakfast is delicious, with fresh products. You have what to choose from. It’s not a fancy restaurant but the food is good...

Very friendly staff and a nice room with a garden view. Good breakfest, nothing too fancy, but nothing to complain about it, it keeps you full until your next gyros in the afternoon. Ugly bathrooms, small shower with curtain. No insect net at the balcony. It can get really hot at night, even tough if you could sleep with the balcony open it will be cold at night. But nooo, no nets because they want you to pay for the air conditioning. Lovely hotel, close to the beach and nice restaurants nearby. Stayed for 10 nights and had a very pleasant and relaxing time. Rhodes town is an hour bus drive away, the staff are very friendly and helpful. Would definitely go back again and recommend anyone to stay.

I did not have breakfast so can't say. The room was basic, but decent. It's close to shopping and restaurants and right across street from beach. Very convenient and walkable, staff was very nice.

Very close to the beach and various restaurants and bars. 15min walk to the Old Town and Harbour. Helpful, friendly staff. Very minor problems. Shower curtain to short ( water on bathroom floor ) Nowhere to hang towels in bathroom. That aside, value for money hotel .

Bang for the buck The hotel is very functional. Location at the start of bar street, but my room was quiet. Lady on front desk very helpful and charming.

Stayed here for 5 days with my partner mid-August 2025. Great hotel with great quality rooms and great services. The beds are very comfy, bed sheets very light and soft. Shower has great water pressure. Our balcony fortunately had a great view! Aircon was great made sleeping easier haha. Fridge in the room which was so needed! Built in to the wall hairdryer!
