Anavadia Hotel

Very good hotel, very nice staff!! We just came back home and want to say a big thank to all the staff beginning from Mr.Nikitas and Mr.Giorgos and to the cleaning girls. The reception staff was always ready to help us. And the bartenders-both were really good! Very nice place if you like to explore the island. Highly recommend it.

The Anavadia is a small, quiet, friendly and relaxing hotel which is great value for money. We found it to be very clean. There are two pools and plenty of sunbeds. We opted for the front pool which was quieter and a short walk to the bar. There is no entertainment. Staff Without exception the staff were wonderful and made sure my elderly mum and I were happy. This included making sure our room was accessible and that we had everything we needed. Many thanks to the wonderful Voula on reception and George who always made us feel so special. Food and Drink We loved the food which was varied and tasty with lots of typical Greek dishes ( including lots of vegetarian dishes) and mezes- vine leaves, olives, dips, salads. The Greek desserts were also delicious-baklava, kataifi, Greek yoghurt and honey. There was also lots of salads and fresh fruit- water melon, melon, grapes, nectarines, bananas etc. Like all AI hotels some dishes are repeated but this is normal. If you want chips and junk food this is not the hotel for you. Chips are served at lunchtime and snack times. There is an outside terrace for eating and also an A/C indoor dining room. Drinks The drinks were plentiful and the cocktails were the best we have had at an AI. All made from scratch at the pool bar by Bobby ( he makes the best sangria) and the evening bar by Angelo ( the All Senses was the best). We never had to queue either which was a bonus at an AI hotel! The spirits are not branded which is also normal at AI but I can confirm they are strong!! Accommodation Our room was well furnished and we were very comfortable. The A/C was excellent and greatly appreciated. We had clean towels daily and were also supplied with pool and beach towels. The fridge was a bonus and the safe was free. Location The location of the hotel is ideal for exploring Rhodes. There are a few beaches nearby, the closest which is pebbly and has no sunbeds is a 10minutes walk, and the busier sandy beach is about a 20 minute walk. There are loads of water sports opportunities on both beaches. The bus stop is across the road from the hotel and you can travel to Rhodes Old Town, Lindos, Tsambika Beach and Seven Springs( highly recommend this from a previous visit). 4euros each way. We also used a local taxi company which was booked by Voula on Reception. Boat trip The highlight of our holiday was a boat trip with Kolymbia Express, booked for us by Voula. It includes pick up and return to the hotel; sail from Kolymbia harbour to Lindos, 3 hours there, return journey with 4 swim stops, wine and water melon included. We appreciate that everyone has different opinions but we had 5 star treatment and would definitely return. Thank you especially to Voula and George for making us feel so special and for making our stay memorable.

Just had 5 nights here and the hotel is fine food is basic but great especially breakfast and lunch. Small hotel which is basic but for value for money you can’t go wrong. Owners and staff are brilliant and make you feel very welcome. 15 minutes walk to Eucalyptus which is the Main Street with bars restaurants and shops. The hotel may need a bit of tlc but our room were cleaned every day so can’t grumble.

Me and my husband spent a week in Anavadia hotel .The location is really good close to the beach and to shops .Hotel is really very quiet for relaxing vacations. The heart of the hotel is the staff ,A big thank you for the two ladies at the reception as they will give you all the necessary information and advice.

We had great time and hotel staffs are all very friendly and kind. Reception ladies are a man ( George ) really helpful and kind 😊 Food and drinks are accessible all the time. There wasn’t any entertainments on however if you prefer quiet calming vacation, this hotel is good, Also if you are planning travelling out to Lindos or Rhodes, bus stop is opposite the hotel and we can get around many places within 1 hour.

Me and my family stayed in Anavadia hotel for a week . I would like to thank the personnel of this hotel as they were amazing during all of our stay . They helped me with the food of my baby even the hours that the restaurant was closed .In Total we were satisfied.

Me and my girlfriend spent 4 days in Anavadia Hotel .Unlikely with the reviews I have read both pools were clean and daily we saw in the morning staff to clean them.The true is that the rooms are basic but they were cleaned .Food was OK a little bit more jumky for lunch and with theme nights for dinner. The drinks for an all- inclusive were ok. With the budget we ve spent it was a normal vacation . Great thanks to the staff which is amazing and truly helpfull.

Reasonable hotel a bit further from the centre of kolymbia than I thought.
