I usually think of beach resorts on our annual get away from the snow trips to the Caribbean not our European trips, however that is the best description I can give to our two night home away from home in Santorini the Iliida Odysseas Resort. The hotel is in Perivolos on the eastern side of Santorini, opposite Fira the capital and the Caldera. It is located about 180 metres or a two-minute walk form...

You never really know how an hotel will turn out, so thanks to Tripadvisor reviews we eventually settled on the Iliada Odysseus in Perivolos and were glad that we did. First impressions were lovely, with a smart entrance and plenty of parking over the road from the entrance made travelling through the week in the rental car really easy. Rooms for two are completely sufficient, the resort has two pools and one has a bar. Breakfast is absolutely perfect! The sea, restaurants, shops nearby. We didn't miss anything. Everyone here is pleasant and kind. We were very satisfied. We recommend this resort to everyone.

Just back from a week at this hotel and it was great. All staff are very friendly. Breakfast wasn’t to our taste but there was always cereals and eggs. The shower heads are rusted but this is because it is sea water that comes out, the same as the sink. It’s a great location right beside the sea, with shop at end of street. Also the bus stops at the shop. My only complaint was the bed was to hard.

Hotel is very tired and needs a lot of attention. Staff are friendly and helpful. We booked a superior room but honestly don’t waste your money. It’s just a bog standard room with very low standard furnishings. Everything is rusty, dodgy light fittings. Kettle doesn’t switch off and pours steam out handle so you can’t touch it. Property was stunning - be warned it’s a walk to the property on the walking route and you will get your stair workout - but it’s so worth it. Our junior suite was perfect, beautifully detailed and the view is incredible. Less crowded than Fira or Oia, quiet, lovely. I travel a lot and always in very nice hotels. I cannot say enough about the incredible service the employees give you in this hotel. It’s above 5 star. Easily the best place to stay in Santorini, hands down. Put this one on your bucket list. Take note, lots of stairs to climb but well worth it.

The location and the sunsets are amazing! Our room was clean and spacious and we got every day free water bottles.

The pool was broken and I couldn't use it. They charge €10 if you leave towels on the floor and don't even give me a warning. They charged me €50 for the towels and for accidentally soiling the bed cover. They simply left a note under the door to go to reception and say I had to pay €50. They demanded cash, and I insisted and would only pay by card and invoice. Other than that, everything went well

We booked the hotel considering the location and the pool, but when we arrived, we were informed that the pool had been closed for over a year! I think this information should be provided at the time of booking, as it makes all the difference.

This is a lovely friendly and very clean hotel. It's in an ideal position with lots of shops, bars and gorgeous restaurants only 5 minutes walk away. There is no lift. The hotel is less than 1km from the bus stop. It's a small but clean accommodation. I had an issue with the tour I booked, so I couldn't participate. However, MIA, the receptionist, tried to contact the company until the very end. The next morning, she came to inform me that the tour company had acknowledged the issue and offered a refund. The staff were very kind and, since it was the off-season, allowed us to check in at around 10am instead of the 3pm check-in time. They also kept our luggage after we checked out and lent us a charger.

Great location - beautiful views! The rooms are a bit on the small side. With an arched roof so, if you are tall, you'll be bending over a bit.

This resort is next to Oia by walking 5-10 minutes along cliff top path. It has fantastic sea view from room built on the cliff. There were two pools in this resort. Don't miss the restaurant located on the top with panoramic sea view. Room was comfortable. Service was professional and efficient.

This hotel is very close to being the perfect hotel experience. Friendly staff, perfect location, great amenities. The gigantic improvement needed here is that only 50% of the rooms allow you to control your own air conditioning. The other 50% of the rooms have their temperature centrally controlled by the hotel, which wouldn’t be a problem if the hotel chose a reasonable temperature for these rooms...

Fantastic location! No need to battle crowds in Oia to see the sunset. We could see it from our hot tub. Breakfast served on private terrace each morning was deluxe. Staff were very helpful in arranging a rental car for us. My only complaint was there did not seem to be any way to recycle but this was a problem at every hotel we stayed at in Greece.

Brand new hotel in Imerovigli, Santorini. Rooms are nice, modern, minimalist. It's a small hotel overlooking the Aegean. You need a car to visit other touristic parts of the island. The pool area is very nice. The included breakfast is quite good too. It seems it recently opened as most of the employees are not even wearing uniform. But everyone is very helpful and polite.
