Where to stay with pets in Santorini

It is located about 180 metres or a two-minute walk form the beach and the assorted restaurants and bars along the shore

There were local bus stops across from both stores where one could catch a bus to Fira the capital and from

As per our usual method, my wife went ahead with both Passports to handle check in while I dealt with the luggage. Our room, number 14, was in the older section but clean and spacious if a bit dated

There are two pools one with a large patio and pool bar, a jacuzzi (sadly empty during our stay) and a breakfast room. WIFI is free for guests and available throughout the property

There was also a small front patio with table and chairs. The bathroom was a bit small, but no more so than other hotels we stayed in in Greece

There is also plenty of parking across the street. Check in was quick even though we were part of a bus tour

We had the best time in Petra honeymoon villas! the staff were caring and amazing. The view is stunning, and the pool is great.

Located right above Skaros rock, it is like being in another world. The rooms were immaculate and equipped with current-day technology

Property was stunning - be warned it’s a walk to the property on the walking route and you will get your stair workout - but it’s so worth it. Our junior suite was perfect, beautifully detailed and the view is incredible

The Grace Hotel and its staff were absolutely amazing. First off, the location is unbeatable. Located right in the middle of Santorini, it’s only a 20-25 max ride time to anywhere on the island

I travel a lot and always in very nice hotels. I cannot say enough about the incredible service the employees give you in this hotel. Easily the best place to stay in Santorini, hands down

The restaurant has sweeping views, and the food is great, especially the breakfast! A five-course breakfast which changes every day and can be served in your room for a small fee

Less crowded than Fira or Oia, quiet, lovely. Be sure to go to Avocado restaurant nearby, Greek food was amazing and clearly a family business

Perfect location, great pool, spotlessly clean. Breakfast was the standard selection, gym was average - not much kit and treadmill didn’t work. Staff were great, drinks good. The planes overhead are not an issue at all

Beautiful hotel in a wonderful location. This hotel is so nice, all the staff are so friendly and we leave feeling very well looked after

Air con was great very much needed when staying in Greece. The hotel is a 2 min walk to the beach offering okenty if bars and restaurants. Our favourite restaurant was soul just at the bottom of the road

We enjoyed a trip to oia we took a bus from the top of the road for 2 euro each about 15 mins to thira then you hop on another that takes you to oia. Thira is a bit crazy with teaffic and quad bikes

Breakfast is basic but plentiful , bar staff member (george) was always helpful 👌 pool bar is expensive for food and drinks can take your own around the pool some days if on a budget though

We went back to oia for sunset with a rooftop restaurant it was stunning the views are unbelievable the place os absolutely breathtaking. Be careful if you get a private transfer

Special mention to the staff Mariana,Elisavet,Vasilini,Cina,Elpnvn, Ahmed and Nikos. Sorry for anyone I have not mentioned. The barman makes the best aperol spritz I have ever tasted sorry I did not get your name

This was a solo journey to Santorini I was made welcome at the 9 muses straight away with a welcome drink of sparkling wine. Nothing was too much for the staff who were friendly and efficient a rare combination

The hotel was beautiful and clean as was the pool area. The food was a buffet with a lovely selection something everyday delicious and fresh thankyou Denis the chef

On the negative some areas could do with an update. Bathrooms in the standard room walk in shower maybe?. And the spa area especially the jacuzzi

Unbeatable caldera view and excellent location. Walking distance to shops and restaurants though many were closed in low season. Only negative is the poorer condition of the shower.

The location and the sunsets are amazing! Our room was clean and spacious and we got every day free water bottles.

We booked the hotel considering the location and the pool, but when we arrived, we were informed that the pool had been closed for over a year! I think this information should be provided at the time of booking, as it makes all the difference

The location is OK, the hygiene is average, the facilities are average, the breakfast is very poor, and there were multiple power outages during the two nights.

breakfast is not buffet, but they serve you lots of food and various, average quality, terrible coffee 😅 swimming pool sometimes is closed, sometimes it is opened, they do not have a fixed schedule which is a bit annoying if you are really into using the pool

This hotel was beautiful, short walking distance to everything. MAGGIE, the poolside bartender was absolutely fantastic and made our stay. She is lovely. You won’t be disappointed staying here.

He even gave me a towel every day I went to the gym so I wouldn’t have to pay for one every time. He also made sure I got my laundry the same day. It’s these “little” details that make a place memorable

The lady at the snack bar at the pool gets a 100/10. She was the best hospitality ambassador you could ever wish for. She was friendly, energetic, and so helpful

From the moment we arrived at Santorini Palace Hotel, we knew we were in for something special but nothing could have prepared us for the level of warmth, professionalism, and genuine care we received from the staff

The room we had effectively had a private pool and was exceptionally clean with great air conditioning and also looked brand new

The gym is ok but some of the machines are a bit outdated and rusty. Small negative things: the one young worker that was at the restaurant and pool bar needs some training on social skills or maybe costumer service

This hotel is on the quieter side of the island , so you generally avoid the cruise ship crowds , but you don’t get the lovely sunset. We had a lovely time and would definitely return if we are back on Santorini

The facilities are to a very high standard and our bungalow was clean and spacious. The only drawback was that the self catering facilities were limited. There was a hob and fridge in the house but no microwave or oven

The highlight of Santorini was this hotel/spa. From the moment we arrived to the moment we left, we were treated with absolute royalty. I can’t say I’ve ever had better service anywhere and I’ve traveled quite a bit

Lovely stay for our honeymoon, the staff’s attentiveness to and communication with us were both equally convenient and compassionate

All of the staff on the front desk were fantastic, from giving us a tour of the hotel when we checked in, mapping out all of the best spots on the island, booking restaurant reservations for us to ordering taxis, nothing was ever too much to ask

The hotel has an amazing position, it’s very close to the city of Pyrgos and it’s close to the bus stops, making it easy to reach other parts of the island. The rooms were very pretty and clean, with a good room service

We had a great stay at Epavlis Hotel! The location is ideal — just a 6-minute walk from Kamari Beach, far enough from the busy areas to enjoy peace and quiet. The staff were friendly and always ready to help

Disadvantages: - the hotel is located on a hill and it is a bit difficult to get there (even by car); - if you reserve a room with sea view, mention explicitly that you do not want the rooms near the pool - basically everyone sitting by the pool can see in your room (however, they changed our room the next day after complaining about this); - one of the rooms had ants on the floor and in the bed;...

Since the tap water isn’t drinkable, you need to buy bottled water at the hotel bar. Offering one complimentary bottle per day would be a nice touch. Overall, a lovely experience — we highly recommend it!

The pool and the facilities are lovely, well maintained. The young receptionist (sorry I forgot his name) was super helpful, professional and gave us excellent sightseeing and restaurants recommendations

It was very peaceful and quiet at night so I enjoyed the best sleep! They arranged different services for me such as a car rental, taxi pickup, and massages. And lastly the breakfast buffet is OMG!

Hotel Goulielmos is honestly one of the most beautiful places I’ve ever stayed. It’s tucked into the cliffs of Akrotiri, not crowded at all, and has that peaceful, away-from-it-all feeling

The milkshakes are tasty! The breakfast buffet is a broad spread from continental to country specialties, including plenty of fresh fruit (I did see a TripAdvisor review which said they only have tinned fruit – they did have tinned but that was in addition to, not instead of)

Plus lots of off menu things like eggs, coffees etc. I should also mention that breakfast is served until 11am which if you are experiencing jet lag or are just someone who is slow to get going in the morning is great

The hotel room towels are also replaced twice daily. - Staff are friendly, extremely helpful but not intrusive. They regularly come round all the pool areas to check if patrons need drinks, food or anything else

And sushi and lunchtime was AWESOME. One portion enough though! - This is a hotel that loves towels. There are plentiful beach towels around the pool areas, these are replenished regularly throughout the day

Also helped us book our car, restaurants and trips - I’m always dubious that we’ll be upsold or just using suppliers who are friends of the hotel - but no, everything was great and stress free

- On our trip we unfortunately had an incident that required a hospital trip for our child (nothing to do with the hotel, just the way it goes). The hotel staff couldn’t be more helpful
