Where to stay in Santorini

This resort is next to Oia by walking 5-10 minutes along cliff top path. It has fantastic sea view from room built on the cliff. There were two pools in this resort. Don't miss the restaurant located on the top with panoramic sea view. Room was comfortable. Service was professional and efficient.

This hotel is very close to being the perfect hotel experience. Friendly staff, perfect location, great amenities. The gigantic improvement needed here is that only 50% of the rooms allow you to control your own air conditioning. The other 50% of the rooms have their temperature centrally controlled by the hotel, which wouldn’t be a problem if the hotel chose a reasonable temperature for these rooms...

By far the best burger I've ever had during my 33 years on this planet we call earth! The patty was super juicy and perfectly grilled, again, the best burger I've had! This is a beautiful resort and the staff is attentive. However, it is a 20 minute walk into the shops of. OIA. This is next to impossible during the day as it is extremely hot shuttles are $25 for a five minute ride. I feel this should be offered to the guest free of charge. The room was adequate, the food wasn’t bad although the staff had nothing better to do but make things up that it’s unsafe for us to drink or eat around the pool area unless food or drinks were purchased onsite. Kept being watched upon and made feel uncomfortable. It’s been my second time staying here and it’s changed for the worst as the staff mentioned things have changed in the last year.

Property was stunning - be warned it’s a walk to the property on the walking route and you will get your stair workout - but it’s so worth it. Lovely property in an idyllic location. Access is not suitable for those with mobility issues, a lot of steps to climb to finally reach, but well worth the climb. Stunning views, excellent facilities. Regularly checked on to ensure we were satisfied with everything, ensuring fresh towels are offered and breakfast was accessible. Would visit again

Would book again Host didn’t tell us we needed to contact them before hand to arrange a meeting point - so we arrived and were totally lost for an hour! Hot tub didn’t work on first day. After this, they were swift sorting everything out, it’s a beautiful location, they kept in touch over WhatsApp, and the villa itself was stunning. Overall, would book again

A wonderful place but with a little effort could make a whole world of difference! Situated in the nicest part of Pyrgos. Different, kind of exotic. Our roof top lacked a nice sail to shade the patio (the neighbour had one). Lack of coffee pucks (nespresso). We're promised more, but they never showed up. Our SPA bath on the patio were cold but fixed rather quickly. Great response there. Keep thinking...

The view is fantastic and we had a top service thanks to Konstantina. Catamaran tour in semi private is the top! The JoJo beach & Bar at Perivolos is a very good place to go ;) For sure, Fira and Oia are must see.

Someone would say GOATED location. Very close to Fira, the local bus stop and many markets. The receptionist "Vaggelis" was also very kind and exceptionally friendly. I would stay at Anessis again without a doupt!

4 ladies staying for 2 nights. The staff are friendly, polite and helpful. Bright clean rooms & beds. Beautiful views from upper rooms. Good pool and jacuzzi. Private parking at doorstep is a plus for our rental car. Easy short walking distance to the first part of Fira town. Happy to be away from the street and pedestrian noise right in town.

This lodging was perfect for us. It was located away from the press of tourists (like us ) and yet just 5 - 10 minutes walking distance from services. The proprietor, Dimitris , was very attentive and helpful.
